The worst company that I can deal with the manager there do not know what he's talking about. I got my glasses from there. Cost me 300. Dollars the glasses was plastic when I took it back. He told me it was my fault. I wanted a cheap plans. I never want a cheap plans. That's what one of the workers did wasn't me took my glasses back. Wanted to get my refund because one of the lenses was popping out of the frame. The manager told me they didn't have money in the tilt to refund me. I will have to wait how many days to get it refunded. I paid cash for it. The worst company that anybody can deal with. They do not know what they are doing most of all the manager trying to put the blame on the customer I would never buy plastic frames for my glasses. LensCrafters is a joke. The place just wants to rip you off. I have insurance and they wanted to charge me $186 out of pocket for exam. Same exact thing at Pearle Vision cost me $70, or at America's Best is about $40. A lot of eyeglass places rip you off if you have insurance, but LensCrafters goes above and beyond to steal your money. Not today! read more

I had a fantastic experience today at the Lens Crafters in the Hamilton Mall Mays Landing NJ. My 13yo son lost his glasses surfing while we are on vacation at the Jersey shore. After I recovered from my initial what the heck moment I remembered the Lens Crafters same day policy. From my initial call to the store, thank you Malla. Everyone was so helpful and kind. Steve measured and fit him and within a few hours we had new glasses!! The staff is friendly and competent. Thank God and Thank you Lens Crafters! If you need glasses, go see James at Lens Crafters in Mays Landing, NJ! I purchased my glasses at a different Lens Crafters location and had an issue with one of the lenses. The closest location to me was of no help and the issue remained unresolved until I decided to stop in at the Mays Landing location. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the customer service they provide! It was a bit of a tricky issue as we couldn't quite figure out what was going on with the lens which was terribly frustrating but James went above and beyond to resolve the issue! He could have dismissed the issue like the other location but he didn't give up! He went out of his way for me to make sure my glasses felt perfect and tried every possible solution before ordering replacement lenses for me. I am a very anxious person and can be a bit much to handle at times so I genuinely can't thank James enough for his all of help and how kind and patient he was with me! read more

Beware... Current Lenscrafters policies have left the staff to beomce inattentive and rude given how overworked they are. It's the only way I can rationalize why my wife and I can go in there (both of us long time Lenscrafters customers, and trust me, products here aren't cheap) and try to get an adjustment on our Lencrafters-purchased glasses and have such a horrible experience. The guy quickly adjusts our glasses and doesn't even clean them! Frankly, we didn't even think about until we were already outside the mall. We look at one another and realize, "you know, I don recall them even taking out the bottle and cleaning them off". Really? Is this basic level of service too difficult. I have been using this lenscrafters for years! I have no problems with them what-so-ever! The sales staff remembers my children especially. We are going back to Christmas 2014 it is now February 2017 and the sales rep remembered my daughter and the build-a-bears in her stroller and how she was taking them around the mall with us. That's why I go there, for the fact that they remember me and my family. Okay, yes I spend a lot of money but that's what my FSA is for mostly, glasses and dental. LOL I am a truck driver by trade and they help me choose the best lenses to do my job effectively. On this round they recommended the Oakley frames and lenses as the lenses are engineered for sports activities but those activities go hand in hand with driving an 80,000 lb tractor trailer down the US highways as well. I learned that Oakley created a special lens for night driving to sharpen the road in the low light conditions that drivers face. I do a lot of night driving so I am looking forward to putting to lenses to the test! Thank you LensCrafters and Luxottica for providing me with great looking glasses and lens technology that makes me safer on the road. read more

Understaffed and overpriced. This location is very busy and really need a system for who is next. After waiting 40 mins for my turn, the employee took a couple who had walked in after me! When I said something to another employee, she said I need to wait someone will be with me. I repeated that that couple came in after me and it was my turn. She just shrugged her shoulders and went back to helping her customers. So I walked out. I would have been paying cash, no insurance. The frames were $175 and I need special bifocals (not cheap). When I got home, I found the same frames online for $105. My kids and I all need new frames. We won't be coming back to this store. read more

My beloved boyfriend decided that the Atlantic Ocean was a better home for his prescription glasses than his face. We are from Buffalo, NY and vacationing in Ocean City, NJ. This Lenscrafters had great hours. We drove to the mall, selected the frames, waited about an hour for the lenses (had a fruit smoothie), and got replacement glasses in a very timely manner. Bonnie was incredibly helpful and professional, she made sure we were getting the best deal either through the health insurance or the store promotional they had. I'm so glad my darling didn't have to be blind for the rest of the vacation. Great place! Highly recommend! read more

Steve at the Hamilton Mall location went above and beyond the call of duty when assisting us with glasses for a visually impaired person. I cannot say enough about the care he showed, let's put it this way, we drove two hours to get to this Lens Crafters and it was worth the drive. read more

The only place that takes my insurance. The ladies were nice and helped me find the right size since I have a small face. The selection is limited, overpriced high end only and just a few basic frames in ladies. I wear a 49/50 size and they only had 4 to chose from. They need a better selection. read more

This is a horrible, I repeat horrible place. The staff is terrible & they are completely incompetent. Do not go there. Take your business elsewhere. Seriously, they do not know what they're doing. They have me glasses using a prescription from 11 years ago. They never caught their mistake & I suffered from headaches until I returned to another location, only to find out the did not use my current prescription. read more
