I had my exam at a local Doc that I really like, but went to LC because of their bigger selection. I ended up with a pair of frames I liked, and I picked them up on my way to work. I already had contacts in and was in a hurry, so we just checked fit, I took them off, and left. The first time I put them on, I started feeling nauseous in less than 5 minutes. I have had glasses for 15 years, and have never had this before. I tried them on and off for 10 days, then decided to return them. I spoke with the Manager (I don't remember his name). He took my glasses, checked them, and said they found some slight waviness to the lenses, but most people don't notice it. He said that he would re-make them anyway, without me asking. They were really busy that night, but worked me in, and about 90 minutes later the technician came out and fitted them to me and made sure the problem was solved, which it was. Best Lens crafters location is the best store that provided exceptional oriented customer service focus. I have been a customer for at least 10 years and I am very impressed. There is an employee that is a gem and he is very polite and professional. This is a busy store to say the least and of course it's busy on the weekend and evening. However, Isaiah is a diamond in the rough and he did make the difference to close the deal and I will be a returning customer. I knew exactly what eyewear and I brought the glasses and sunglasses. I've never had such a horrible experience like I had here with their store manager. She was confusing, rude, and inconsiderate to an elderly couple and myself (31yo). Not only did I have to go back 3 times within 4 days for special order that should have took two weeks. They ordered the wrong lenses and the store manager told me that she "spoke with the technician and that the thickness of the lenses are with ok for your prescription" even though it wasn't what I ordered nor paid for. I was completely flabbergasted!! Never have I felt my morale so low ... They make you think like you did something wrong. I ended up spending LESS ordering the glasses online and taking them to Costco for the lenses. And didn't have to use my insurance!! read more

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The most important person, the eye doctor, was so friendly and easy to talk to. She was very thorough with her exam and I never felt rushed. She took the time to talk to me a little about other things other than the exam, and also talked me through everything during the exam and explained why she was doing certain tests. Came here with my boyfriend and the service was outstanding! Didn't have to wait very long and the selection is wonderful.

I have been to this location more then 6 times. Every time I have been here it is a bit crowded but this tells me that they as a business are doing good business. Yes there may be a 10-15 wait however I use the time to browse the selection or observe the technicians making the glasses in the lab. Every single staff member is polite and well mannered, eager to assist, and swift with a welcoming greeting upon stepping in the store. This is my go to for all my family vision needs. Rip off location. A year ago we paid $206 for my fiance's glasses with no insurance. Complete out of pocket. Now we come in today and ask for the exact same frame and everything. And according to them with insurance now it's $204. Wtf, talk about bait and switch tactics. And the guy helping us just kept talking about how we had a protection plan before. Very poor customer service at this location. Seems like ALL locations have very poor customer service! I've been to 5 different locations and all have bad customer service. One of the staff members basically argued with me and straight out said I don't understand what your saying after explaining myself thoroughly. I guess she thought I was trying to leave with free glasses and so she immediately gave me attitude when all I wanted was to exchange my eyeglasses. She was not friendly at all. Ugliest attitude I have ever experienced. I even called her out on it and she still had attitude. She should not be working in a field where the main job duty is to provide excellent customer service! However there was another employee there who only was at this location for the day to cover the shift whose attitude was very pleasant and understanding. So maybe out of the 5 employees there 1 was decent. Do not go here! Don't go to any locations! read more

I just completed an eye exam with Dr. Abby Hsu and I'm going back Tuesday to do an evaluation for contacts with her. I couldn't be more happy with my experience! Dr. Hsu was very sweet, easy to talk to, thorough, and did a great job explaining everything to me. The gal at the front desk who conducted my preliminary exam was nice, too! I think her name was Maria. I was able to use my health insurance for the exam and only had a $10 co-pay. I think the contact lens evaluation is $50 and my insurance doesn't cover that. Anyway, I'm very happy with the staff at this location and the products they have to offer. read more

I was promised I would get my glasses within 10 days. After waiting 10 days, the only thing that was ready were my lenses. I was told my frames were mailed today and I should have them in a few days. It's sad that a company so big was so misleading. I am so disappointed with them, I will never go back for glasses ever again. I've been coming here for years for my examination and glasses. I had an experience that was less than pleasurable once, but it wasn't enough to complain about. All the other times have been really good. Yesterday was my favorite visit of them all. I showed up at the time that my exam was scheduled for. However, due to me not responding to the 2 automated voicemails left to confirm or cancel the appointment in the preceding weeks, I was no longer on the schedule. Luckily, there was still an opening and they got me in there with a smile and no hassle. The first part of my exam was with a man named Jesse. He was very personable yet remained professional. The last part of my exam was with Dr. Overmann (I think I'm spelling it right) who was really nice and an exceptional conversationalist to boot. I got confused on part of the exam and he had to redo it to ensure that the results would be accurate. Many doctors would've made me feel dumb or put off an annoyed sense. But Dr. Overmann just continued with the exam and our conversation without a hitch. After the exam, I was going to take my prescription to Walmart in an attempt to save money. But I decided to look around anyways. Jesse came back over to help me, knowing that I was on a budget. After a while of looking, I came to the conclusion that I wanted the same pair of glasses I already had, but new. Unfortunately, those glasses weren't on the floor. But Jesse looked in the back and found the exact pair for me. He rung me up (within my budget) and we immediately walked over to get my glasses which were already finished. Tran is the best she is very helpful and honest with finding glasses that fit my face and that I was comfortable with. She is a pro at adjusting your glasses to fit comfortably. I have since brought in my husband, son and mother. Tran is top notch such a sweet girl I continue to come here because of the service that she provides to me!!!! read more

I wouldn't give this company or location any stars! I have had so many problems with this company, and particularly this location. They are quick to make a sale and keep your money, and could care less if something goes wrong with your glasses. My special needs son who is visually impaired has a defect in his lenses. I pay $500 for his glasses. I get the scratch resistant, transitions, the lenses thinned down, and designer frames. The first time I had an issue, the screw broke in the frame, and lenscrafters didn't have the tool or the screw to fix it when they sell those frames! So of course I have to fork out another $100 to get a new pair, just because they conveniently don't carry the right screw or tool. Then, there is a defect in one of the lenses, and they want me to pay another $100 to replace the lens. You can clearly tell the lines in the lens are within the lens and not scratches. They are brown straight lines and appear as if they are obstructing my sons vision. When I brought them into the store, the lady from the lab proceeded to wipe my sons lenses with pure alcohol. They have a film on them due to the transitions, therefore should not be cleaned with alcohol. Yeah, I highly doubt she knew what she was doing. I am going on three weeks trying to get a hold of somebody through customer relations and the regional manager, and I have yet to hear from a single person. Their customer service is beyond horrible. I recommend if you need glasses, do business elsewhere! They don't deserve your time or money! read more
