I've bought so many pairs of glasses here and other Lens Crafters locations for many years. Last year I bought 2 pair and I always get the warranty. I went in to get the lens replaced under warranty and was informed I didn't have a warranty on that pair, my sunglasses purchased at the same time did and I could send them in. I've always bought the warranty since I wear them all the time and know they will get scratched. The new manager told me he could replace them at cost which is basically the cost of a new pair. He said he had to take over this store because the past manager and employees where doing things wrong. I don't know how the warranty was dropped or not added to my one pair. The more surprising thing is the new Manager would rather lose a long time customer over this. I guess businesses like this don't care about repeat business. read more

Cassie the doctor's office attendant was sweet, patient, and funny, she helped me with Ny and all of my questions. Nice open space, good selection changed a couple of times a week. When you purchase frames they will give you the pair that was out - no untouched, virginal pair of glasses. Service was good. They were really busy and managed to stay on top with everyone. The guy helping me was the most helpful of the whole staff. I know that because he tried to help me and 3 other people at the same time. Sucked for me because I had to sit and wait until he's done multitasking all of us but I can't deny he was trying to please us all. Other stuff was dedicated to their one-on-one appointments without acknowledging new customers - I wish I had been one of them! Overall, 4 stars. Don't go to this lenscrafters in Fashion Place Mall. They LOST my sunglass lens warranty in their computer. I also went to the store, picked out new sunglasses, lenses, etc, they wrote down what I wanted to order and said it would be in their computer, when I was ready to make the purchase with my flex funds, they had lost the info. They told me I'd have to come in again to select the glasses and lenses and everything. This place is a disaster. When we buy something there, the staff complains about the computers. It is a huge pain for me or you, the customer that they lose things, can't find things, etc. If you purchase a warranty here and at some point you need to collect on it, if you don't have your copy of your receipt and hang on to it for the full year, you are sunk. You wasted your dollars on a warranty you can't use, because they lose it in their software system. Also, because of this they said they'd offer me a discount on the new glasses... but I had to go in when Brandon the manager was there. Then, I go in and he is not there.... They are like.. well you have to come in on this day or that day next week. It's almost funny. But not. The customer has to jump through hoops to collect on a warranty or even to make a purchase. The eye doctor is great here and I've had no problems with the eye exam part of this business. I'll be checking out some other stores for my sunglass purchase now. read more

Lens Crafters in Fashion Place Mall is my #1 preferred place for glasses. I've been going here for about 10 years and they always take GREAT care of me. I see different people every time I go in (last time it was Sean) and I get top-notch service. They have a great selection of stylish frames, but that's not why I go there. My eyes are MESSED UP. I have a really strong prescription for one eye. The other eye is a lazy eye and now I have bifocals! So I really need them to know what they're doing and they always come through. FYI: I haven't had my eye exam there. I just get my glasses there. But they do a great job fitting me and keeping my RX needs in mind when selecting frames. read more

I LOVE the pair of glasses that I bought from Lens Crafters! The people who work at the Lens Crafters at Fashion Place Mall provided a great overall experience for me. Lens Crafters has an amazing selection of designer brands available like Ray-Ban, Tiffany, Gucci, Burberry, Armani Exchange, Oakley - the works! I'm pretty picky with my eye wear. My short nose bridge makes it difficult to find frames that fit my Asian face. I also have a really high prescription where my lenses are pretty thick (-8.75 , -9.50 yikes). I marked off one star only because I wish they explained to me a little bit more about the lenses and my insurance coverage for them. Kelli was SO patient and did an exceptional job at finding options for me to try out. She even went the extra mile of looking up online the different color options for frames that I liked. I ended up with a pair of Burberry frames that I probably would not have tried on if it wasn't for her help. Yes, the frames I picked were expensive, but my insurance covered a good chunk of the cost overall. So I was happy with it. Are online options cheaper? For the most part, yes, but if I'm going to commit to a pair of glasses that I'll wear for a long time I would rather pick the hassle free option to try several frames on in person. Lens Crafters has some fancy equipment that photographs your face and pupil placement to ensure the lenses will be centered for the best clarity of your vision. Another reason why it is WORTH IT to buy glasses at a place like Lens Crafters. The service over the telephone was exceptional.The receptionist was patient and clear in explaining that my glasses were on time for delivery and were due to arrive 10 days after I ordered them. I love how I received a text message when my glasses were ready to pick up. The pickup process went very smooth. We made a few minor adjustments for the frames to fit my face perfectly. After a terrible experience at a different business (*cough* stay away from Visionworks, Murray *cough*). I am so thankful to have found Lens Crafters. I will definitely be returning to Lens Crafters the next time I need a new pair of glasses! read more

Visited on Saturday 1/28/2017 Fashion Mall LensCrafters with hesitation after reading negative reviews of previous customers. I was greeted by Optician Austin Scott who proceeded to help me with my eyeglass prescription needs. I must say I was taken back my his genuine and professional care that I was given and his truthful and candid response to my concerns. Contrary to the negative reviews that this location was given, I guess I was fortunate with being serviced by Optician Austin Scott. I went to Dr Watson (ION Vision) and LensCrafters because my new vision insurance suggested them. What a mistake! LensCrafters tells you they can have your glasses in about an hour. This is NOT true for most people. The only glasses they can do in this time frame are basic nothing glasses with no options. Bait and switch if you ask me. I received my exam from ION Vision and immediately selected my glasses from LensCrafters. I received my very expensive glasses about a week later and immediately started having problems with them. The lens would pop out of the frame and the frame would be out of shape from merely brushing up against my glasses. I took them back about a week after getting them and they replaced the frames. I continued to wear the glasses but still had problems with the lenses popping out and the frames bending at the slightest bump or nudge. I took them back to LensCrafters again within their 30 day guarantee and they still charged me to trade out my frames for a different brand (even though their guarantee says they won't). I have now been wearing my replacement glasses for a few weeks and I have noticed that I cannot read anything. It strains my eyes to read anything on the computer, phone, or print. I contacted the manager at LensCrafters (Kelly) who told me that he didn't think my progressive lenses were right and told me I needed to check with Dr. Watson again for a follow up. Kelly did offer to refund the fee I had to pay to get my replacement glasses with the new frames but I have no desire to ever return to this location for an exam OR glasses. I was transferred to Dr. Watson's office who proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for a whole new exam! WHAT? I just spent over $600 for exam and glasses and now I have to do it again? Not only did I receive very poor customer service, but they gave me a prescription that did not work and is TOTALLY WORTHLESS! I am now having to wear my old glasses until I can afford to get new ones again. I would not recommend Dr. Watson/ION Vision or LensCrafters! read more

Ordered my glasses here and while my husband's took a couple of days mine took nearly 10. I'm happy with the glasses so far but I've had them 2 weeks and been back twice for adjustments. I have an extremely narrow nose and if not done right my glasses slide down to the end. Plus the nose pads had a rough edge I finally filed off with a nail file. Plus they say ears are ok but after wearing them all day my ears hurt So if they could get the adjustment right I would so happy. I expect one adjustment after wearing them a few days, but 2 seems a bit much read more

Pretty unhappy from all aspects. Used Ion Vision for eye appt, contacts, and glasses prescription. The price for the exam was outrageous even after my insurance. They wouldn't give me the contacts I wanted and pushed me to use dailies. They didn't work so I had to go back in and get another kind which they were helpful with. I had problems with those too, so I called back to get a different kind and they advised I would have to pay another eye exam because it was beyond 90 days. The glasses price was also outrageous. Designer frames with transitions for $500. Ouch! All said I'm out ~$600 and have to get a new eye appointment to get the right contacts. Trust me, LensCrafters/Ion will not be seeing me again. read more

This is not the first time I've been to this location however their customer service has gone down the drain. Last time, they were not able to get my frames made correctly and I had to settle for a non transitional pair. (Which I was okay with i needed to see). Giving them a second chance I decided to order a new pair with them. They were okay to start with so I sat with them after picking out a frame, I paid and went on my way thinking it was going to be a two to three week turnaround. After the fourth week, I came into LensCrafters only to find out that the frame i has selected was in backordered. No one called to notify me or followed up. After having a discussion with them and them offering options they had me select another pair. Today, I stopped by only to be told that the new frame I had selected was in backorder and that there was nothing they could do. So I asked for a manager, only to be told he was on break and that I could wait for him to come back. 30 minutes later he still has not showed up nor have I been helped, offered a solution nor anything. My advise to you is RUN from this location they are horrible and providing customer service. I went here to purchase a pair of Versace glasses. They were originally priced at $189.00. When the salesperson looked them up, they were $142.00 (not listed on the glasses themselves). I placed these on hold, so I could shop around before making a final purchase. I come back the next day ready to buy the glasses, and the sales representative was unable to locate them and ended up finding them back on the sales rack. On top of this, they were no longer on clearance. I would not recommend coming to this location to purchase glasses. They are understaffed, unprofessional, and unorganized. read more

By far more impressed with the amount of care and service that I got from this location. Kayla has done exceptionally well, from start to finish! She goes out of her way to make every conversation understandable. She has a contagious smile. She is a wonderful asset to have. don't know about the docs. but beware buying glasses there. I've had glasses for 40 years and have actually gone to lens crafters for about 35 years. however, beware this facility. I got a new prescription, but still had 2 very good frames. not 1 but 2 reps tried to convince me that my frames were bad, and for 1 frame refused to put in a new prescription. both frames had been bought from lens crafters. in my experience, frames practically last forever. this is the first time in 40 years I've ever heard of such nonsense. took my glasses to Costco, and with no fuss or muss, got the new prescription put in. one rep was a lobby person, but the other rep looked like the guy who put in the prescription. BEWARE for the naïve glass wearer - this facility goes for the high sale. I like lens crafters for the convenience of getting the glasses so quick. however, this experience, taught me to start researching other places. read more

"You can get better quality, but you'll never pay more!" should be the LensCrafters at Fashion Place motto. My advice: walk away and shop elsewhere. I won't do further business with LensCrafters at Fashion Place. They used to be OK back when they were 60-Minute Eyewear, but no more. LC@FP uses dishonest sales tactics, they discredit and lie about their competitors' services and products, and they inflate and exaggerate claimed benefits and quality of their own offerings. If you do your research and homework, and also talk to your ophthalmologist about LensCrafters claims of superiority, you'll discover these guys are actually ignorant and arrogant pressure-tactics salesmen. They thrive from the unprepared or unknowing consumer, so beware. The eyeglasses that LensCrafters in Fashion Place sold me had poor workmanship. Specifically, the perimeter of the left side semi-rimless lens was cut/ground misshaped, and the left vs. right lenses actually don't appear to be a match symmetrically. This is no minor little mistake, it's very noticeable. They refused to properly fix their mistake by replacing the bad lens, but instead attempted to re-work the botched cut/grind job by-hand, making it look even worse. I'm very disappointed that I paid over $550 for a pair of LC single-vision glasses, especially considering that when I better researched and shopped *elsewhere* for my second set (back-up pair) of eyeglasses, I paid $250 less, got a better product, received professional honest and knowledgeable service, got a better warranty, and am happier with the results. LensCrafters Fashion Place summary: 1) Unreasonably expensive, 2) False and dishonest claims of product & materials superiority, 3) Their competitors actually offer some superior lens treatments and materials, 4) High pressure sales tactics, 5) Poor workmanship, 6) Did not honor their quality guarantee, 7) Charge extra for the same warranty many other shops include for free. Don't let these guys trap you with their tech-talk sales babble. They actually offer the exact same lens materials, the same AR and scratch resistant lens treatment options, and even fewer options for photochromic lenses, than their competitors. I walked in to buy a pair of Burberry prescription glasses, They said they didn't have them in stock, which was OK. They then said it would take 10 days for them to receive them, that's ok too. They called me in 10 days and said they received them and tried to sell me a scratch and dent pair with touch up paint on the frames!! I immediately told the associate that, that is inappropriate and unprofessional and call me when they have my new pair of prescription glasses and blew out of the store. Few weeks pass by, still no communication so I called my attorney to demand my new pair of prescription glasses. They then called me a day after they received the letter saying that they have my Burberry glasses, come in and pick them up. I come back in the next day, I quickly look at the frame and still see visible scratches, the technician said that he is able to buff out the scratches and accidentally burnt the plastic. I said it's OK I just appreciate your help and attention to my problem. One day later I get a call from the regional manager questioning why I spoke to an attorney about this and why I didn't talk with them? Then she continued to say how outrageous it was and what a waste of money, That I should've just spoke with them, then goes on about me spending my money in bad ways like sending them a letter from my attorney!! Then asks me if there is anything else I needed help with. I said no, everything is resolved. Horrible over all experience, I won't be coming back. read more
