Sadly, this place has gone completely down hill. I was a long time client, and appreciated the care I received years back. I should have left time before last when the tech did my whole entire exam because the doctor was too busy to do it. My bad. I went again on October 4th, saw a floating doctor that was filling in for another on maternity leave, who by the way was great and I will likely be going to the clinic she regularly works at-not affiliated with Lenza. I have called repeatedly in the last 5 days to ask if my glasses are ready as I was told standard 2 weeks. I left two messages-no call back. I am no longer living close to the location and happened to be passing yesterday, so I stopped. Signs on the door that they are closed, call the Newberg office if you need assistance. Called that location, no answer, left a message, no reply. The store front in Wilsonville's hours on the door now say 3:00-6:00 Monday. I then called before 6:00, no answer. All I want is some customer service for the $350 glasses I ordered 2.5 weeks ago. A call back, or someone to answer the phones. Now I just want a refund and never to be associated with them again. There is no reason to not have staff at locations, answer messages, or be open during reasonable hours. To me this is a result of a bigger problem. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau if I don't hear back by the weeks end. **Update, called again, reached McKenzie who assures me that my glasses will be ready Thursday or Friday. When I try to explain my frustration, he says they are short staffed and there's nothing they can do about it. I suggest calling people back and if that's not an option hire an answering service or don't have an outgoing message. "Yeah, ok, well then you have a great day", then he hung up on me. Save yourself the headache and the rude receptionist. One would think the physician that owns this location should know why his clientele is diminishing. read more

I am absolutely horrified at my visit. Doctor was great. The male receptionist was verbally abusive multiple times to his partner receptionist who was new and learning. I had my appt at the new Newberg office! Very very disappointed. I have diabetes and need to get an eye exam every year. my appointment was at 12:15, I didn't get called back for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I'm on Medicare with a supplemental insurance. BEWARE: I had my exam then they told me for $60 I need to come back to another appointment to have my eyes measured for my prescription. Medicare covers my diabetic eye exam, but since I don't have any optical insurance, the measurement appointment is NOT covered by Medicare. So, in the end I could not get my prescription because I couldn't pay the $60. Now to see someone else I have to wait a year for my exam again. I looked up hours at this location on their website. Open Thursdays 12:30-6:00. I took my elderly mother for frames. Nope, apparently hours, they open at 3:00, a taped sign on the door. Nothing but great things to say about Lenza Eye Center. We came across this place needing an emergency appointment on a Saturday and they were completely booked but once the person who I was on the phone with understood the severity of the issue she made a point to get us in that day and as soon as possible. Her kindness left me floored to be honest. We've since been back twice for follow up appts and we get nothing but professionalism, kindness and consideration for our time. They've been helpful in getting appointments set up with other specialists as well. Highly recommend and truly appreciate the service we've received here. read more

I'm giving Lenza and Genevieve 5 stars. My son has a very high prescription and a wide head. She must have spent over an hour the first time we were there trying to find something that he would like. We found something but due to his prescription the glasses would have been to heavy. Genevieve spent another 45 minutes with him helping him select a new frame. The wait to receive the glasses was one week and we're having to wait again but it's okay because they took great care of us. read more

Called today for an emergency appointment that I scheduled online first, called to confirm. All was good until I mentioned I was from California, and traveled up to Tualatin to visit my sister. The receptionist placed me on hold and when she picked back up, she stated "my manager said we can't see you because you're from California." She explained that because of COVID-19, I would not be seen. She didn't ask where I lived in California, how long I've been in Oregon, offer any additional solutions (e.g., me emailing my prescription over), or if I'd been tested - I told her I was recently tested and could show her the results. I really cannot see and my glasses are broken; I can't even drive without them. I've been in Oregon 3 weeks - longer than the 2 week quarantine requirement and show no symptoms. They didn't even ask me that. Just denied care. read more

My Wife went to get glasses here and they messed up the prescription twice. After the first time they said that if the second time does not work they will refund our money. It's been six months and we still haven't got our money back. Also the company is non responsive. We are going to have to take them to small claims court. Also you can never speak with a manager. The doctor and everyone on the office was wonderful! After a horrible experience with cataract surgery at another eye specialist. Recently moved to Oregon. Needed to have eyes checked. Unfortunately picked here due to close location. Long story short was billed for a medical visit not covered by insurance instead of a eye exam which is covered 100%. Was told nothing wrong other then old age. Would have appreciated not being charged 500.00 for that diagnosis. Please be sure you are aware of all charges before appointment as another bill may come in the mail. read more

Horrible experience in the newberg off. Spent 4 hours there and the doctor kept leaving for a good 15 min during the exam then optical they had me jumping through hoops and I spent another hour with them and they weren't helpful at all. Will be going somewhere else. They told me my insurance covered the exam but it apparently my insurance only covered the glasses and $600 for a Contacts is ridiculous and they switched me for monthly to daily contacts and they won't switch me back and and I felt like they're just looking at me as money not an actual patient and that's why they kept trying to sell everything and do everything on commission I feel like not professional at all not even the doctor and this is up in newberg office read more

I could not be happier with the results obtained. Eye infection, addressed and treated immediately, no waiting. Dry eyes treated and monitored. Cataract surgery resulted in perfect 20/20 vision. I could not ask for better medical care. read more

I was in a pinch needing a contact to get me through the weekend till I could see my primary optometrist on Monday. With only a few minutes till they closed I went in with desperation hoping they could help me out. I gave the nice lady behind the counter my prescription and she was able to find me my exact contact in a temporary. Yea! She had saved my weekend! I think I'm going to switch my primary. read more

No impressed. Nice doctor and eye exam, but customer service is very left much left to be desired. Came in on a Saturday, was quoted pricing, and came back Sunday to fill glasses and the gal acted like I had intruded and kept saying "this is weird" that she couldn't find the note that was supposed to be left for her, definitely wasn't expecting me , and made it seem like she couldn't fill my glasses that day, and later said she could. Then she said the quote was wrong and it turned out it was $60+ more dollars then the $80.00 I was quoted just the night before. Not stellar customer service, very understaffed today and definitely okay with letting a customer leave unhappy. I think most places should honor their quote. read more

I'm so glad that I finally found an eye specialist that trust 100%. I need eye surgery for cataracts, but my eyes are a bit tricky, with retina problems and I have thin corneas! Dr. Oday Alsheik, who is also the CEO and owner of Lanza Eye Center, is a very experienced and highly qualified eye surgeon. The other members of this practice are very competent and knowledgeable. Scheduling our appointment was easy and open time slots were easily identified that met our needs. The staff Lenza was great to work with to identify the best solution for my personal eye care needs. Tiffany was very knowledgeable and did a great job of listening to my needs and hitting on all of my key points and answering all of my questions. The selection of frames was well presented and the team at Lenza was very helpful in presenting the pros and cons of each pair I was looking at. I collect designer frames, and anyone that purchases designer anything expects all thw perks and accessories that the designer includes. I came here in 2016 for contacts ok experience. I came in March for an exam, was fast, good selection of frames. However I was told 2 weeks would be ready was 3. Also was told if I ordered another pair within 30 days, there would be some sort of discount. So I ordered Rc sunglasses, paid full price. Dis not make a big deal as the original person. That helped me was not there, they claimed they had no notes. I could afford it without the discount. So I just paid eventhough I did. Not get an itemized receipt. These also took about 3 weeks again. So  I pay over $500 for these designer glasses and no fucking case to match again. Its said because today I planned on ordering 2 more glasses with rx. Do to thw lack of acknowledgment of what I paid and what I was expecting I did not. The lady walked away from me as I was asking about the  case. Staing oh we just don't have any right now. Doesn't make sense to me. I was really going to spend more money today but because I feel like it was just so transactional and I was just a number and they didn't care im not. So now I'm got to take a trip to Sunglass Hut, take more time out of my day for my next pair. Sad because I already knew what I wanted for here. I guess in these times I just have high expectations of customer service and the value of qhat im getting to what I pay for. So I won't be going back. Office is very current and up to date. It's obvious this place isn't for you if you have a family and work schedule changes sick kids family emergencies etc. etc.We've been going here since 2015 they just lost a family of five because they are irritated that someone has to change their appointment. read more

Took my daughter in for her first set of contacts. Beautiful facility, great staff, wonderful selection of eyewear, contacts and colored contacts my daughter wanted. Dr. Kim was very good with her and explained eye health in her terms. I've been wearing readers for years and decided that purchasing prescriptions would be something I'd treat myself to since I had a prescription benefit. I was talked into purchasing Progressive Lenses from the sales associate (along with other upcharges for glare, transitions etc.) when I was originally just thinking of bi-focal lenses, When I got my glasses it was the worst visual experience of my life - I couldn't see anything - near or far and the world was fishbowled. I took them back right away and they said I had to wait two weeks for insurance reasons. I tried to stick with them but couldn't do any work wearing them (or read, or drive...). In the end, I had to go with basic computer lenses and they would not give me credit for the progressive lenses, which they led me to purchase at a significant OOP expense. So, $350 OOP (insurance paid for the exam, frames and part of the lenses). Lenses probably cost the less than $10 to make, so they are just wanting to hang on to their profits. Really feels like a greedy, unethical practice - Profit over People must be their motto. I'd never go back to, or recommend, Lenza to anyone. Go somewhere else if you would like a good ethical relationship. read more

I visited Lenza to see if they had an appointment available, and was able to see the doctor right away. Dr. Stewart was fantastic; she was friendly and knowledgeable, walking me through the exam and answering any questions I had. Frame selection was easy, as they have a fantastic selection. All of my questions were answered, and they explained how my insurance coverage worked for the options that I selected. I liked my new glasses so much, that I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses (my first ever). read more
