Was extremely thorough and helpful especially with my step-son who can be a little challenging to work with when he in his story telling mode. If you're looking for a doctor who is direct and down to business this is the guy for you. If you want someone who is going to be empathetic toward your feelings and make you feel happy go luckily this doctor isn't for you. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

The eye Dr is very thorough and seems to know what she's doing. Also, glasses options are good and stylish. Appointments are easy to make and they are open normal hours, easy to access. The only reason for docking 1 star is that both my son and husband received a slightly different pair of eyeglasses on one occasion (difference between bifocal/normal and progressive/reading). When brought up, they offered to make it right. I'll just be sure to double check the final order next time.

A staff member was with her the entire time choosing the glasses which I guess is good in a way, but made her feel pressured not to take too much of their time when selecting the glasses, and she ended up choosing a pair that she found she did not like when they arrived. The largest issue is the price. The final bill for the glasses (not including the exam) was $715 (which luckily we had insurance that paid $478 of it). They did not inform her that she could buy glasses somewhere else, and she thought she needed to buy from them because they did the exam. After finding she did not like the glasses, she asked if they could do anything like maybe exchange the frames for a different style, but they said there was nothing they could do. So we ended up going to Costco to get another pair. She likes them much more, and they only cost $129 (would have been free with insurance, but was not covered since a pair had already been bought)

Despite trying in vain to connect with him on our shared military service and church membership, he somehow gets to decide how I should spend my money? I can't have overnight shipping but I can have 2-day shipping so I'll miss my flight... because why?? His optometrist rudely would not answer but cut me off to dictate me "she was not going to argue about it!" Um, it's a basic everyday transaction. You fill out the shipping slip the exact same way except you check the overnight box and charge me accordingly. It would cost me hundreds more to stay longer than necessary just because an eye doctor needs to draw a line in the sand about the cost of inflation? It's my extra $15 dollars buddy. I can not eat out one meal for the ability to see clearly for a couple years. Sheesh! Perhaps they should have told me that when I made the appointment, you think!? Then I wouldn't have made special arrangements so that I could get glasses in time. Instead they chose to waste the money I spent on an Uber to go to and from the appointment, the hours of my time in exam and choosing frames, and holding the money I put down on the order, for naught. Not to mention the weeks wasted that I would have been able to get my exam and glasses from a legitimate business. She smiles all the time and you can hear it in her voice when she answers the phone. She is just PERFECT to be the one to greet and one who answers the phone! I had Shay help me pick out my frames when I was there in the fall and she was WONDERFUL. I, however, was NOT wonderful to my glasses. No no. I scratched not ONE but BOTH LENSES right in the middle of the lens. Grrr. So I figured oh well I'm just going to have to pay for new lenses. I got them in November and it's July!! Well the day I called Alexa answered bright and cheery as usual. I told her my sad story and she asked for my information so she could look up my account. Well I apparently had a TWO year warranty for scratches!!! Yeeeehaw!! So she said NO PROBLEM, we will just order the new lenses and then call you when they come in. You can swing by anytime it's convenient to get them swapped out! After about two weeks I realized that I hadn't given her my new phone number. So even IF she called she wouldn't get me! Lol. So I called and (yup Alexa again!) She said hey!!! We have your lenses!! I popped in the next day and it was just her and Shay (I apologize if I've misspelled your name!) They got right to it and Shay had a hard time cleaning my glasses as I'd put these cheap plastic pads on to keep them from sliding lol She took those off, reshaped them and I keep them on my nose and then got back to cleaning the lenses. She went back again into the room Alexa had swapped the lenses out and called Alexa in. They found a HUGE scratch on my NEW lenses!! Then as she finally got rhem cleaned and fitted, she found another on the other lens. I was not upset because what can you do right? But Shay said THIS isn't acceptable. She said try he first thing the next day she'd call the lab to expedite me a new pair of lenses. That would only have been a week tomorrow. I was VERY impressed, again with th level OF POST service/appointment care. They genuinely care and genuinely like what they do. That's clear. I'll keep going here as long as they'll see me!!
