We walked into the bar downstairs. Thankfully someone asked what we needed and then they were able to get our show wristbands. We were set and headed to dinner. When we returned after 7:00, there was someone right at the door handing out wristbands. We could have skipped the early drop in. Live and learn. I liked the small venue upstairs and the different chair options. We were early enough we had our choice of seats. I thought the sound was good, but we all had trouble understanding the singing. Of course I figured it was my ears, but after the show everyone admitted they had trouble as well. This seems like a possible limitation of the sound system. That said, the music itself sounded great. The Revival Room has its own bar and two bathrooms, one each outside the doors to the side of the stage. All of this is very convenient. We didn't eat or drink, so no comments on either. I checked the calendar and there's nothing coming up I'd like to see, but I wouldn't think twice about coming here for music.

There's plenty of seating, a super cool laid-back atmosphere, and the kind of crowd that makes you feel like you picked the right place without even trying. Bonus: the UK basketball game was on, the place was packed with fans, and the Cats WON so the energy was immaculate. High fives, cheers, happy strangers everywhere. You love to see it. We had the German Pilsner and the American Light. Both were crisp, refreshing, and exactly what you want in hand while celebrating a UK win. No notes. It's one of those spots where you go for "just a quick drink" and immediately start planning your next visit. We'll definitely be back to try food from Lucy's and hopefully catch a show next time. We ended up parking on the pay lot, which had limited options other than overnight for about $20... obviously, that is not their fault though. The arcade seemed fun but we weren't able to play since we had no cash/cards. It definitely had a nostalgic vibe. Since we got there early, we were able to secure free seating, but most of the benches were about to fall apart; we moved a few times, eventually to the top of one of the bars which had great views. Drinks were okay, I didn't get to try their food unfortunately since they were slammed. The only thing I didn't like was that we paid for the event, got a wristband, but there were so many ways you could have gotten in without paying anything at all. I'd love to give them another try when there is no event.

It started by showing my ID to get a wristband, then scanning my ticket and going through security. I enjoyed the concert I went to - the venue was loud, lighting was good, and there was some outdoor space (with a second place to order drinks.) Close to the stage, people were dancing, moshing, and having a great time. In the back, there was room to enjoy with a little more space. My one gripe, I KNOW that alcoholic drinks at all concerts and venues will be overpriced but the only option for water was an $8 can. Just be aware if you plan to hydrate!

Watch for the $25 show promos that happen once or twice per year. - Friendly staff! - Access to snacks and beverages upstairs and downstairs. - Upstairs accessible by stairs or elevator - Coat check available. The cons - (not their fault, no stars taken) - I struggle to find a selection of great meal options pre-show right now in this theater district part of downtown. Lots of bourbon trailers spend time hanging out with locals and getting rare bourbon you can only get in Frankfort, KY. This is the oldest bar in Frankfort and has an impressive collection of bourbon brands, and even the rarest of the rare- Pappy Van Winkle collection. They also have bar food and the best chicken wings in town. I like the Bourbon Glaze and Garlic Parmesan wings. The bar has been completely remodeled with nice clean bathrooms and new staff. The new workers seem to love their job and enjoy sharing local bourbon lore with the out of towners. I like to watch movies on the big tvs and sometimes they put on old shows to watch at the customer's request. There's pool that seems very popular and a touch tunes that's always playing the hits.
