We have had nothing but problems after problems buying this Hyundai Tucson SEL Hybrid. From the finance guy at Don Davis at Lake Jackson to paid it off at Hyundai Finance company. We got the car on March 17, 2025 and it now April 23, 2025 and still problems with them all. Don't buy from them unless you want to have problems also. Good luck if you do. I agree with another reviewer. I was so happy to buy a new 2023 Hyundai Tuscon from this dealership. Loved the sales dept and felt great about my purchase. I have had for 5 months and then had a problem with the car not starting. I have been without a vehicle for 2 days and they won't furnish a loaner or rental. They even had the nerve to ask if I bought this car used and had someone else work on it. The service dept could care less about its customers. . Bought car during december was told i'd get a $500 prepaid gift card Owner later said i'm not eligible because I didn't test drive a car. there wasn't any on the lot to test drive. Was told by dealer the car would have leather seats, it doesn't. Also, to move the seat forward and back on both front seats its manual. I never owned a car with manual push back seats and my cars a 2022. Also was told 3 year complimentary oil changes, then they say you only get 3 for the 3 years even though their ads on their website say maintenance 3 years or 36,000 miles. Really Bad Experience. I was looking for Sonata Hybrid Limited. And I had a specific budget. The sales person Vice Brown was really good. Warm and welcoming. But the guy above him, when I mentioned about my budget, instead of giving me other options, he just was rude, showing me the huge gap between the price they quoted and my limitations. In the initial quote also they quoted by trade in vehicle way low. When I told them about auto nation, the sales manager he instead of showing the right way was very rude. I had an option in mind the SEL version as well. That sales manager did not even give a thought that he could have smartly get the quote of the SEL version as well. I own a company too and my role is not just a partner but also CEO Operations. So I know how it is. Note to DON DAVIS Hyundai Branch owner... Start hiring more ethical people like Vince. I am definitely not coming to this branch again and will not recommend. By the way, after them when I went to STEEL SOUTH LOOP HYUNDAI.. I will use a drunk shade tree mechanic before I bring another vehicle to be worked on at Don Davis. I had a water pump go out while working in the area. I called Don Davis and they said if I had it towed in they could get to the same day or first thing in the morning. So a week later I finally get my truck back. I get that they are busy but don't expect to get ahold of your service writer when you call and don't expect a returned call if you leave a message. Although I enjoyed my extended stay in the Lake Jackson area I would not recommend this service department to my worst enemy. read more

My mother recently took her car to a GMC dealership in Angleton for a noise she was hearing under the front of her car. This dealer said it was the motor mount. They said they have the parts in stock. When she brought it in at her appointment time, the motor mount was incorrect and when They received the correct one and installed it, it did not fix the problem. I spoke with Mike at Don Davis in Lake Jackson, who said bring it in and we will take a look at it. The technician took a look at it, and said the motor mount wasn't the issue at all. It was noise from the timing chain. Don Davis had all the parts in stock, and completed the timing chain repair on my mothers car at no cost to her. My mother was very happy that she was not charged for repair that was covered under warranty, and very happy with the service experience altogether. read more

I dare you to buy a car here and get any same day service for warranty work Service department needs to work on their social skills along with the service manager. Buying your car there is not too bad, but the service department is horrible. I bought a new jeep there in December 2013. A year later, it started randomly popping out of first gear. Since it is still under warranty, I brought it in to the service department at Don Davis Lake Jackson in February. It took a while to get the issue to replicate in front of the mechanic, and he agreed it needed fixing. Five months later, countless phone calls into the black hole that is their service department, and more than two weeks of my vehicle sitting in their shop (not getting any repairs), they decided that it is not broken after all, and I am out of luck. They refused to fix under warranty, so I am trying another dealership service department. I know a lot of people post crazy reviews, so please watch this video and judge for yourself.
