Leo Martin Chevrolet has been the best car buying experience I've been apart of (7 cars at all…read moredifferent dealers). This deal was more important since it was for my mother. She knew that she wanted a mid size SUV and I got to work looking for her. We looked at a few other dealers in the area but never got any attention or couldn't schedule a good appointment since I live out of town. We called ahead and scheduled a meeting with Reagan Martin to meet with a sales rep. When we got there our rep was waiting outside for us and knew immediately where to take us. After a quick spin around the block we knew we had the right car. The owner, Gary, even stopped by making rounds on the sales floor to meet his customers...how cool is that? Our rep got the car in to be detailed right away so that my mom could drive off once the paperwork was done. They even had an insurance agent on site to help with that aspect right away. I think the best part of Leo Martin Chevrolet is that there is actually a member of the Martin family at the dealership almost all the time. It's a lot more comforting to walk in and know you are working with a great family!

*Dishonest Service Department - Get a Second Opinion Before You Pay**…read more I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to warn others. I took my 2019 Honda to this dealership after it suddenly stalled on the toll road. I dropped it off on a Tuesday, and despite calling multiple times, I didn't hear anything back until Friday evening. That's already unacceptable for something potentially serious. When I finally got a response, I was told my transmission had completely failed and the repair would cost me $12,500 out of pocket. This was shocking to hear, especially since my car hasn't even reached 100,000 miles and I've only had it for a year. Trying to understand my options, I asked to speak with someone in the sales department about possibly trading in the car. I explained my situation to a sales rep, who seemed sympathetic and said he would talk to his manager and call me back. That call never came. Thankfully, a family member who owns a mechanic shop in San Antonio offered to take a look. I had my car towed there and -- to my complete disbelief -- he discovered the only issue was a bad catalytic converter, which he replaced for $500. The car runs perfectly now. This dealership either **grossly misdiagnosed** the problem or was attempting to take advantage of me. Either way, it's unacceptable. These are hard financial times, and being told I needed to shell out over $12,000 for something that cost $500 to fix is both infuriating and disheartening. **My advice: if you ever bring your vehicle here, ALWAYS get a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs.** It might save you thousands.

Signed the paperwork and Joseph said he was going to get the ordered. After 2 weeks I never heard back so I called Joseph and kept getting the run around. Said he would call me back and never would. A month later I called and he told me the same thing. Went up to dealership to get my license plates picked up and Joseph said he was gonna get my keys ordered. Went with him to the service department filled out the proof of ownership form and said he was going to get them ordered. Fast forward ANOTHER month called Yaklin today to see what the status was on my keys only to be told they were never ordered. I have never had such a horrible experience trying to get some keys for my vehicle. If I ever need another vehicle I will be going to another dealership. It's been 2 months and just getting the runaround is ridiculous. I'll include a photo of my key fob. I was told when I purchased it the keys "were probably thrown away." Absolutely ridiculous.

Pathetic comes to mind. Other words like trustworthiness, dependability, customer service, reliability, and honesty; keep coming to mind also. Mistaking "Christian" in the name was my mistake. Christians honor those words like they are part of scripture. Being a partly disabled senior that depends on dependable transportation, I placed myself into a dire financial situation, going into debt, and now have my dependable means of transportation sitting out there in the drive because of incompetent people who told me to drive it until it breaks being the only means of having it properly repaired. Sound very asinine to me. Three times it was "Check out" and three times returned without being repaired or even reasonably diagnosed. Noticing my distress and anxiety, my Preacher asked what was going on? After explaining the difficulties I was having with CB and my truck, he suggested the shift linkage was the problem. After church, he and I did several tests, the same I did in front of the CB manager, and he pointed out exactly what was happening and not happening with the transmission. To get confirmation, I did some research on the internet, and yes, the symptoms described for the shift linkage are exactly as what has been the issue all along with my truck. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. And I have a very BIG MOUTH and I am shouting very loudly to everyone to "keep clear of Christian brothers." All the more reliable shops around town have waiting list of days or even over a week. That was one reason for my error in judgement in the first place; I couldn't get into the shop I normally use so since CB had no waiting and I needed my truck to get around I hurriedly made a grave and costly mistake it seems. Sadly we are now living in such an environment where trustworthy, competent, and honorable businesses are getting hard find, and those that are still out there that do still have those qualities have so much business it is hard to get an appointments to get in.
