Also - most doctors forgot what it means to diagnose instead of rely on testing. Terrible doctor, staff, and office. Secretary is rude, the doctor is in a rush to get you out the door and doesn't take time to fully listen to your medical issue. Will schedule you for an ultrasound at the first chance, which they do right there. Shadiest doctors office I've ever been too. Oh and he has his acupuncture diploma on the wall in case the ultrasound doesn't do the trick. read more

Do not go here. Please, please, do not go here. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had a doctor's office (or an health-related facility) in my life. Was cancelled on via-phone the day of my appointment and then no-showed the next appointment when I was already at the office. Literally, no nurse or doctor was in the office to complete my blood work. At the end of my first appointment with Dr. Ginzburg, he asked where I found out about his practice and asked multiple times for me to go home and rate him highly on Yelp. I've never had a doctor ask me that before. Save your time, energy, and effort. Please look elsewhere in the area for a doctor. You do not want to go here. read more

We were late to our first visit , our experience was very good. The Nurse who attended us was very knowledgeable and caring. They did take their time to understand our ailment and work through it with our comfort in mind.The staff did stay back late till we had our paperwork and referrals taken care off. All i can say is my entire family go to Dr Ginzburg and everyone is extremely happy with him. I recommended him to several of my friends and they are truly impressed by the doctor, his staff and efficiency of the clinic. This doctor office is ridiculous and awful. I WISH THERE IS ZERO STAR THAN I WILL RATE THEM ZEROOOOOOO. The front desk staffs are so unprofessional, they don't EVEN know anything, and I mean anything at all in the field, I wonder why they even got hired to work at the doctor office in the first place. This was the first clinic that I go in IL here since I just moved from a diff. state, but they absolutely ruined my first experience. AND I DON'T THINK I EVER WANT TO COME BACK TO THEM. My first impression when I came to the office was suck, I set the appointment for for my mom for an Annual Physical Check-up and to check her Cholesterol to get the medications for her to take for her High Cholesterol. I Called and they told me they have a 1:00 PM, then the receptionist told me to come about 15 minutes prior to the appointment to fill out some paper work because it is my mom first time (DIDN'T EVEN MENTION ABOUT FASTING AT ALL, WHICH IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL, BUT MY MOM STILL DID FASTING). We showed up at 12:30 PM on that day, and there was a clock hanging on the window said Will Return at 1:00 PM....what is that suppose to be??? Guess what...they were out for lunch....which is cool with me, because everybody take lunch...but then don't give us the appointment and told us to come 15 minutes early in the first place right???....turned out we have to wait 30 minuted for them to get back from lunch...than they didn't even care if a lot of people were waiting in line for them at all...they just take time, so freaking slow motion to finally sit down on the chair to serve the line (I looked at the clock, it was 1:10 PM when they were finally sat down to the chair.) Came in, saw the doctor...(it was so funny that when I checked online on BlueCrossBlueShield website to look up for the provider, it appears the doctor is Female...because I was looking for a Female doctor for my mom. But no, it was the Male doctor showed up...and blamed on the people that run the website, said that the errors they made and not fixing it for 6 years now). So, we talked to the doctor and explained that my mom needs PHYSICAL CHECK-UP AND CHOLESTEROL CHECK-UP to get a prescription for her CHOLESTEROL. And the doctor asked if my mom been fasting, we answered YES, he asked when? We answered since LAST NIGHT. Finally he put everything in his computer and order for my mom a punch of Lab Tests...we were fine, because the doctor EXPLAINED that it is the first visit so he wants to know everything about her health conditions. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything about the lab test results, I called in for my mom to ask them for the results, one of the receptionists answered the phone and told me everything is NORMAL, AND I ASKED AGAIN IS HER CHOLESTEROL NORMAL?? SHE ASKED ME TO HOLD ON THE PHONE FOR ABOUT 1 MINUTE TO CHECK AND GOT BACK TO THE PHONE AND TOLD ME HER CHOLESTEROL IS FINE....And because my mom needs her results numbers in the letter, so I asked her to please send the results to my mom address, she confirmed the address and everything....said that the mail we go out tomorrow......1 WEEK AFTER....still don't receive anything in the mail yet, my mom asked me to call again, and one more time....SAME confirmed with everything than said the mail will go out today (WHICH WAS LAST WEEK).....Until today....after 1 MORE WEEK, we still don't receive anything from the doctor office yet....I was so mad, so I decided to go straight to the office and pick it up instead....and all they said is blaming on different staffs there....we don't know who you talked to....HELLOOOO!!! Finally we got the Lab Results...BUT THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY YET!!! We found out that there is NO Lab Order for the CHOLESTEROL....????? What in the world....????? THE MAINLY LAB TEST WE EVER WANTED FOR THE VISIT IS MISSING????...NOT ORDERED FROM THE DOCTOR........???? AND THE RESULTS THAT I ASKED THE GIRL IN THE FRONT DESK, SHE TOLD ME MY MOM'S CHOLESTEROL WAS NORNAL WAS A LIED. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR OFFICE THAT LIE TO THE PATIENCE ON THEIR LAB RESULTS???? (THEY DIDN'T EVEN CARE, WHAT IF I DIDN'T ASK FOR THE RESULTS TO SEND HOME??? THAN WE WOULD NEVER FIND OUT ABOUT THAT) Called them back to asked why.....then they said don't know what we told the doctor.....the doctor is not here right now, he is currently on vacation, so we don't know what to say to you..... We had received the Explanation of Benefits from BlueCrossBlueShiled saying that visti was $604 for the visit and lab tests.....BUT WE DON'T EVEN HAVE THE TEST THAT WE WANTED DONE WITH......AND ALL FOR NOTHING BUT UPSETS AND WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY WE HAD PAID FOR THEM. Best Physician I've ever been to, went to the ER at Advocate COndell, with trouble breathing, 11/19/17, They called DR. Ginzburg, who had them start several IV's, turns out I was having Congestive Heart Failure, and it was really bad, he stopped in to the hospital daily to see me, and set my mind at ease, saved my life! I'm giving rating towards Doctors staff. Very unprofessional. I made an emergency appointment for my son during a week in a middle of a day. Should be some to none patients but they managed to take us in one hour late even though I mentioned on a phone if they can not take us on time I would rather go to another Doctor but I was reassured that it wouldn't be a problem. It got to a point where I had to stand next to a front desk girl and remind her every 10 minutes that we are running on a very tight schedule to what she gave me an attitude each time. She was the one booking that appointment for me she admitted, she plainly said physician assistant is running late. Really?! Why didn't she say that on a phone when I made an appointment to save me time?! No one cares in this office if you are late. Wow, I wished I had read the reviews before I decided to see this Dr. I had heard about them giving wrong prescriptions out, but due to my Dr office had moved and I was border line diabetic, I wanted to know where I stood. My first visit, in 01/03/2018 I informed them I was border line diabetic and I was taking heart pills (I didn't know the name of them). The Dr basically did a school physical on me, scheduled a blood test and stated he would send something to the pharmacy to see what prescription I was taking for my heart. After 2 weeks I called them because I never received a call with my results I was placed on hold and was advised my results came back, but no one had looked at them and they did not know when they would be looked at, so I said, "ok" and set an appointment for something else, that following Friday. When I came in for my appointment, they told me my blood test results, no test were sent to check my glucose, sugar level or anything, they had no records of it. Also, never sent anything to the pharmacy to what type of heart pills I was taking. They told me I had "anemia" and had to take more blood test (which i don't know why, she could had wrote a prescription for iron pills) and in the process they would check to see where I was for being diabetes. After being very upset, I went ahead and scheduled for more blood work. I was called for results only to find out they gave me the same results from the last blood work, still no results for sugar level, gluclose or nothing'and had the audacity to apologize and tell me I had to take another blood test for the 3rd time. When I tell you how upset I was and still am. I asked to speak with a supervisor, which they said was not in. They left a message on her desk and gave me her card and this was a week in a half ago. When I called to speak with the person who card they provided me ( which say administrative by the way) I was informed she was out of the office until Monday. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO NO ONE. I AM GOING TO BE STARTING A PETITION TO SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN THEY ARE GIVING FALSE INFORMATION, INCORRECT PRESCRIPTIONS AND ARE HAVING PEOPLE TAKE BLOOD WORK AND NOT RECEIVING THE RESULTS THEY REQUESTED SO THAT THEY CAN CONTINUE TO BILL THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND WE ARE PAYING CO PAYMENTS AND STILL DO NOT KNOW WHERE WE STAND WITH OUR HEALTH.
