Authentic Italian food, service is great and the owner is very friendly. My husband and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary at the restaurant and it is a memorable one. The ambiance is cozy. Highly recommend that restaurant.

This food was hands down the best Italian food that I have had in a very very very long time! My family goes every time we are in Myrtle, it's been 4 years for me, and it never disappoints. Frank the owner is amazing and so friend and accommodating!!! The cream sauce in his food is to die for! I have never had veal before and I figured why not give it a try! And I am now afraid to order it ever again because I don't think it will ever compare! We were a big party of 8 adults and 3 kids. We had the back room to ourselves and ever got a large paper table covering for the kids to draw on plus a variety of coloring books and full on crayon packets!! If you are in Myrtle and want Italian, you have to stop here!!! Thanks frank for the delicious food and great time!

Absolutely the best Italian food around! I have been here multiple times and every dish is delightful. Ava is a superb waitress and very prompt. I would recommend this place above all other Italian restaurants in the area. The marscapone cheesecake is a must try! Oh and the owner makes his own limoncello that is smooth and tasty!

I had very high expectations of this restaurant from the reviews. It was very easy to make reservations last minute and we were seated right away when we arrived. We were greeted by the owners daughter and told the specials. We placed an order for the fiocchi since everyone recommended it and it was very tasty! They had a special for lobster ravioli and the sauce was top notch. We were told that we would get salads so we got the Caesar salad and wow, every piece of lettuce had cheese and dressing on it. The problem came to the bill, we shared one plate so we were charged for spitting the plate which we never told them to spilt the plate nor did they ask us and then we were charged for an extra salad and again they never came to ask us if we would like an extra salad. I don't mind paying but I like to be informed before hand. When we were greeted by the daughter she said she was helping out and didn't know much, so I would have appreciated if she asked us how we wanted everything! Other than this, food was great and would recommend!

A true neighborhood gem with dinner at mom's on Sunday feel. The italian bread alone had us melting & the bruschetta was out of this world. Atmosphere was just right and the staff is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a trip.

As an Italian New Yorker it's always a challenge to find quality italian food. Sole was on par with the best New York italian and food we've experienced in Italy. Frankie is an engaged owner and ensured we had a tremendous meal as a family. The best italian food in the Myrtle Beach area and likely in the tri state area.

Stuffed Mushrooms :: 4/$15. SO DELICIOUS!

SO happy Yelp led us here, what a fantastic place! As with far too much of the area, COVID hit this family restaurant hard. We found out this and so much else from the owner, Frankie, and his mother, who are the sweetest, most entertaining souls. Upon walking in, shortly after they opened for the evening, we were seated in the only currently open dining room. This place used to regularly have an hour wait and live jazz, along with three dining rooms packed. After a history lesson and Frankie going over the most popular dishes, we ordered an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms and our entrees, which came with house salads. One member of my party got an orange martini, made with 95% proof homemade alcohol. They said it was delicious, like a dreamsicle. The mushrooms came and were to die for, especially the light sauce on them. Best mushrooms we have ever had by far. The salads were great, very fresh with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. The warm bread with dipping oil/herbs and parm cheese was a delight. I got the seafood medley, it was pretty good. You have a choice of three sauces, I went with the garlic but I think the spicy sauce would have been a better pair. I tried a member of my party's fiocchi - I can see why it's so popular. I would come back just for that! At the end of the meal, Frankie offered everyone in the restaurant a shot of his homemade limoncello, if you were of age and interested. Very sweet spot, food is worth the price tag, and I HIGHLY recommend stopping by, even if you can only have one meal while in Myrtle Beach!

    CLEANED PLATES ALL OF THEM

Came in with a large party quite late at night, and still everyone was so so welcoming and willing to seat us. Also, the food was genuinely the closest I've gotten to authentic Italian food since I've been in Italy. So so so so good. We all completely cleaned our plates, even the picky kids! 100% recommend soooo yummy and sooo nice ugh cannot recommend enough!!!

Hi Everyone, If you…read morelive to eat as many my of my Italian friends do, Villa Romano's succulent fare, will put that curl in your hair. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. I even laid 7-5 odds that her false eyelashes would become a moustache, and won, while we all did exactly that to satisfy my beautatious date's Cousins' from Reno, fish wish, in Myrtle Beach. We stood in the lines outside, in the evening heat, at three different restaurants that we tried. Please remember to bring water, you'll feel better while you wait, wait, wait again, and then really wait, as if Mosses is going to appear from on high with the Ten Commandments. Instead it's, "Your table is ready" as you try to wake Grandma from her heat induced coma. While Villa Romano's bait, is to actually take your reservation and instead, have you relax on your tushy while having a cocktail in their comfortably A/C filled delightful ambience while you relive your day's perspective with friends and Family ("No, you missed it. First he...", ya know), while Mike fills the air with his sweet mellifluous musical notes floating by you for your audio pleasure, much like the feather in Forrest Gump. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! That is Villa Romana Restaurant, and we all were so gleeful and happy we discovered that fact in our visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. Manga... Enjoy!
