Two hard-fried scrambled eggs with American cheese, home fries, country sausage, and fresh biscuit.

Ate breakfast here after reading all the outstanding reviews on yelp. It is a small restaurant. Best time to get seated is 11 am, Just after breakfast but before lunch. I ordered two hard scrambled eggs with cheese, home fries, sausage, and a biscuit. Best home fries I have ever eaten. Husband and two friends had the Southern comfort bowl. They went wild over the gravy. Our waitress was Diane; she has a wonderful sense of humor and met all of our needs within a short time. You definitely need to check out this well-run place. You will not be sorry.

Went here for the 1st time on Wednesday February 12th 2025 with my parents for a bite of breakfast to eat. This is near our new home. We parked, and while the parking lot is a bit tight, we managed to park. We then walked in and was greeted by a smiling host. The host sat us down at a table. Note- they only have tables and chairs at this location, no booths. The tables also are close together, to probably accomodate for the tight space since it is a small place. Loved the decor there though. Our server greeted us right away with southern hospitality. For drinks, we ordered 2 coffees, and I ordered a chocolate milk. We also learned that they serve breakfast and lunch here. We were given time to look over the menu a bit. Kudos to the waitress who checked on us constantly, and made sure we were great! For breakfast, I ordered the small size of a short stack of pancakes, which was 2 pancakes. The waitress asked if i wanted plate size, but stuck with the small. My dad ordered eggs with a cinnamon raisin bagel with bacon and hash browns. My mom ordered an spinach omlet with hash browns. Food came out in a reasonable time frame. Enjoyed my pancakes, and my family enjoyed their food too. Oh, and had to use the restroom this visit. The restroom is a single stall, luckily was unoccupied when i had to use it-- and was clean. located right in the front too. Was given the check after we finished eating. In this restaurant, you pay the check up front with the host. We left our server a cash tip. We will definitely be back for breakfast, and hopefully try some lunch too!

Such a cute little hometown restaurant! The wait was a little longer than we expected. But it was well worth it. Our server was very tentative and the decor was very cute! Everything was fresh and made to order ! Be sure to check this place out !

This small restaurant is a find! If you see crowds outside it is because it is worth the wait. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Our server was fun and efficient. I was soooo full after eating this southern comfort dish. And yes I ate the whole thing. My hubby couldn't finish his grits so we took them home and I was able to enjoy them a couple of days later. So go hungry and early!

I love cafes and diners for breakfast and Nannie Annie's is a great spot for a good morning meal. The service is fantastic. Everyone is friendly and the get your food on the table fairly quick. When I saw that they had hash on the menu, I knew right away what I was going to eat. Their has is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Tons of flavor. The eggs were cooked nicely and I love their biscuits. They also have some delicious hash browns. I wasn't too impressed with the sausage as it was a little dry. Definitely going to be a regular stop for us.

We're glad we found it again!

That spontaneous decision turned into one of our favorite discoveries. We had just moved from Virginia to Conway and were still getting a feel for the area, so everything felt new. The restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor seating, but the real draw? A peaceful view of the Waccamaw Riverwalk. Sitting outside, overlooking the water, we instantly relaxed--it was the perfect welcome to our new town. Then came the food--and wow. We were blown away. I ordered the seafood sampler loaded with shrimp, oysters, catfish, tater tots, and coleslaw. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. My wife went with the pulled pork dinner, complete with classic sides, pickles, and Texas toast. We swapped bites and couldn't stop raving about how good everything was--especially for the price. Coming from Virginia, I thought I knew BBQ--ketchup-based and familiar. But this was something else entirely. That rich, tangy mustard-based South Carolina barbecue completely changed my expectations. It was a delicious surprise that instantly made me a fan. Our waitress let us know they served brunch on weekends--so back we went. Same riverside view, same laid-back vibe, but a whole new level of indulgence. I ordered the Brunch Chimichanga--crispy, savory perfection--while my wife went all-in on the Brunch Burger: French toast, sausage beef patty, over-easy egg, bacon, American cheese, maple syrup, powdered sugar, and hashbrown casserole. Yes, it was as incredible as it sounds. Now, Bonfire Taqueria isn't just a place we tried--it's a place we return to again and again. Great food, relaxing views, and a welcoming atmosphere make it one of our go-to spots to unwind, sip a drink, and soak in everything we love about downtown Conway.

We ordered coffee, an omelet, and a scrambled egg sandwich. One of the things that attracted us was the restaurant's claim of being a scratch kitchen that uses premium ingredients. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to those expectations. The coffee was disappointing--watery and weak. We were told they grind their own dark roast beans, which led me to expect an excellent cup of coffee. However, if too little coffee is used when brewing the pot, even great beans produce weak coffee. That was definitely the case here. At $4.00 per cup, I expect a quality cup of coffee, and this one simply wasn't worth the price or frankly, any price. The omelet was ordered with bacon and caramelized onions. We specifically asked our server to make sure the onions were well caramelized, but they were not. Even more noticeable was the amount of bacon. It completely overwhelmed the dish--it felt more like bacon with a little egg than an omelet. Finally, the scrambled eggs on the sandwich weren't really scrambled at all. They were cooked as one solid sheet, more like a thin omelet. For a restaurant that specializes in breakfast, brunch, and lunch, consistently preparing eggs should be one of its strengths. I truly hope whoever oversees the kitchen takes these comments in the constructive spirit they're intended. The restaurant has a great concept and quality ingredients, but paying closer attention to execution and consistency would make a significant difference. I'd be happy to give Famous Toastery another try if these issues are addressed.
