STAY AWAY!!!! I went in during December to get an inspection, and put two snow tires on. They took the appointment and then called me ten minutes later to say they are not allowed to put put two snowtires on, I would need to buy four new tires from them. I said to just do the inspection. They callback a few hours later to say that they snapped a lugnut and that I needed new struts. It would cost $1800 to pass inspection. When I said I would not be replacing my struts, they charged me for the broken lug nut. On top of the dishonest service I received, when I arrived to retrieve my vehicle - they lost the paperwork. I took my car somewhere else and got the two snow tires put on, the struts replaced, and a new inspect for $900. Total scammers. read more

Extremely overpriced, staff never follows up with you so you're stuck calling them over and over. Each week I was promised a day it would be done and it never happened. Was quoted a crazy price to fix my car and when I told them no they magically called me back with a quote that was $2k+ lower than the original quote. Assuming they just think I'm a girl who knows nothing about cars and was just going to accept anything they said. When I went to get my car and pay I provided them with a $20 off coupon I received in the mail the receptionist told me oh... wish you would have given that to me two minutes ago I already put everything on your account... can't use that now. not very pleased with the total cost of my service. was told it was $80 an hour. i thought great fair price! then when i go to pay suddenly its $170 an hour? that's almost $100 more? mind you thats what dealerships charge if not less. can't help but think maybe it's because im a young girl and they thought i didn't know anything. so a fix i was anticipating paying $600 for was way more. very disappointed and i feel ripped off and scammed. will not be returning and i don't recommend you go! read more

I was at my wits end with worry when my car was making a rattling noise, I thought it had maybe been a loose belt that could snap. Luckily when it was lifted they saw it was just a piece of bent metal thrashing around. They removed it and got me out of there in less than half an hour! Grandson goes to Keene state college. The jeeps oil light was flashing on and off. I told him to go to Leon's. Did not know the business had been sold. The new owners don't know what they are Doing. They said they cleaned the oil sensor, and it was now ok. Wanted to remove oil pan because of sludge that might have caused the l sensor light to come. Said it would be ready that afternoon. Wasn't ready for another day. Kept getting excuses. Grandson drove out of lot and oil sensor light came on. He took it back and they said the jeep probably won't last much longer. We took it to another garage, and they changed the sensing unit, and it is working fine. $110.00 Paid over $800.00 with Leon's and was never fixed. Sorry but I got screwed. J & L Auto Body in Keene is HORRIBLE. Do not take your car there as it may be months and months until you see it again. My husband left his jeep there 75 days ago with a promise of it being fixed in 10 days. For the past two weeks, they said it would be done by Friday, now they are saying that once again! I am VERY disappointed In this shop. I heard that since it's been sold it's a much different place but I decided to go in for only a state inspection yesterday, figuring this wouldn't cause me too much trouble but I was wrong. I get here at 8am for my appointment, at 9 I'm told I passed except for my 2 license plate lights. The man says "I assume you want us to change the bulbs so we can put a sticker on it?" I agreed. He went back. 30 Minutes later another guy comes out and says, "I have bad news, we can't replace the bulbs, it's an entire unit and we have to order the part. Itll be a day or two before it comes in, the part is $109." I was baffled. A UNIT for LIGHTS?! I called my husband (who always fixes my car) and he said to ask exactly what part they mean. The guy came out and said from one side of the light to the other it's connected in a whole unit... that seemed VERY weird to me. I didn't want to take more time there because I was already there over an hour and a half with my 2 children and they were over it so I just drove away. I went to auto zone and looked on YouTube how to replace my bulbs, jumped out, used a pocket knife to get the covers off and BEHOLD there were the bulbs! Pulled them out, yes they were burnt, went inside and got some LED light bulbs and stuck them in and I got them to work. Popped the covers back on and I just saved myself hundreds of unnecessary dollars spent!! I call Leon's back and tell the man I fixed it and he says "how did you do that" I said, " I replaced the light bulbs" then he says "I'm going to slap my tech"... I don't know if the tech really didn't know (in that case I could be their tech) or if they saw a woman with two young children walk through the door and figure they could get one over on me. so They were either going to order the "part" and find out it wasn't needed and still charge or they never had a "part" to order and were just playing games looking to get more money. you don't get repeat customers from deceptive practices. Couple years later the bondo started to crack, they say they will not fix it under there "as long as you own you're car" because someone else owns it now. But they kept the name the same. Lies, rude, deceitful and downright dishonest! One star is way too generous. We had our vehicle towed there after a major crash in the second week of January 2015. They said it might be a total as it had a lot of things damaged such as axle, possible frame out of true etc. With the estimated repairs it came around $3,000 short from having it totaled and the insurance company allowed the work to go ahead. They said it would take around two weeks for it to be completed. I called them after two weeks and they said that they were waiting on a body strip and should be ready in a couple of days. We called them again a few days later and they said they are still waiting on a body part. Called them again a week after this they told us still waiting on body strip. I said that if it is just a body molding we can pick it up then they can fit it later. They refused to do this and said it had to be perfect before giving it back to the customer. The insurance company called us back and said it appears they haven't done any work on the vehicle and told them they are waiting on a door strip before they START work. They now have had this car for well over four weeks. We visited Leon's to see what the problem was. When we turned up they denied that they even had our vehicle and they actually didn't know who we were! I went outside to call the insurance company and I noticed what looked like our vehicle in the back of the lot. My wife and I walked over to the vehicle which was covered in snow and not only was there no work done on the car but now the front of the vehicle had been very badly damaged. This is new damage! We demanded to be told what is going on. Oh that's yours now I know who you are. He said when the vehicle was in the lot under a ton of snow the plow guy hit the front end of the car taking most of the front of the car off. He said he is waiting for the plow guy's insurance to pay before we go ahead with any work. I asked why the original work hadn't been done at all He started shouting at us and told us if you want this done then you will have to wait. Now get out of my office I will call you when it is ready and stop calling us asking if the vehicle is ready or not!!! We called the insurance company explained what was going on and they told us they couldn't really help any further, we could take the vehicle to another place but with the additional damage to the vehicle would not be covered they said we would just have to hope they would eventually fix it. They then told us they were no longer paying for rental reimbursement and to return the rental at the end of the week. Now we are down a car no idea if it will ever get fixed and no rental. At this point it was the end of February and I put in my calendar to call them once per week. Weeks went by still waiting. It comes to April and they say the car is now ready and we can pick it up. We go down there and say now they found an additional problem after test driving it and the vehicle needs straightening and the entire rear drive train and axle needs to be replaced. This costs around $6,000 more. Now this is over $3,000 over the value of the car. After further weeks of waiting we eventually get the car back in May 15th the vehicle has been there since January! We then find that the TPS system is malfunctioning and also there is no heat coming out of the passenger side. We took the vehicle back but they refused to repair. I called the insurance company they refused as well this was all working prior. I took the vehicle to a main dealer that and they then did $4,500 more work on the car including fixing what they said looked like a bunch of monkey's working on the drivetrain! The passenger heating issue would cost another estimated $1,500 as the vast majority of the dashboard had to be taken off. They said it had obviously been taken off previously as all the staples were left exposed. Anyway this was a complete nightmare going to Leon's and I wish I have never had this experience. read more

AAA sent these guys out to change a tire for me. The guy did not have a jack with him. My lug nuts were seized to the stud. the "technician" stated that he did not bring the proper tool to remove a seized lug nut. We paid for a pre-purchase inspection on a car at a local dealership. Ben went to the dealership, got the car, brought it to his shop and gave it a thorough inspection and test drive. He found a few things wrong with it and literally talked with us for a almost 30 minutes about his experience with trucks and what to consider, and all of our options, etc. He was a gentlemen and committed to serving his customer! Don't bring your car here. They will find all kinds of problems but not fix the one you came in for. I was told that I needed to replace a very expensive electrical unit. I brought it to the Honda dealer to get a second opinion and they laughed when I told them about the electrical unit. The diagnosis codes at the Honda dealer showed an entirely different problem. It ended up being $400 cheaper to have it serviced at the dealer. After being a customer of Leon's for years, I can no longer trust their work. I also got charged $40 for a restocking fee on a part that I never ordered. read more

This is an AAA company who came to unlock my car after I left the keys inside. AAA told me that they would be there in about an hour and 15 minutes. The truck actually showed up in 5 MINUTES. The driver even helped me look for my keys. Great customer service. The driver was so pleasant. I am so impressed I will be going to Leon's for all of my car maintenance!!!! read more

What a rip off-These people actually charged my 77 yr. old mom 1,600.00 only to tell her that her car would need a new engine (WHO DOES THAT) then she called AAA to have her car towed back hm. and for an added extra Leons then proceeded to destroyed her lawn. Leons flatbed got stuck in the middle of the lawn so the driver called for another flatbed to come an drag the him out sideways.They did promise to come back and fix it but never did. I never felt pressured or that I was being taken advantage of due to my gender, and I absolutely LOVE my car. Integrity is not a word combined with car salesmen, but that is the word I'd choose to describe Eric. Had repair work done after an accident. Geico recommended this place, that should have been my first clue to stay away! Runs in the paint, missing paint in places that were very noticeable. I took my car in for an inspection, got here an hour before closing and had more driving ahead of me for the rest of the day. I was in a situation where I wouldn't be in New Hampshire for another month and a half and the inspection was only good through this month. There were issues with the car that wouldn't allow it to pass inspection. I explained my situation and Ben, one of the owners, was so sympathetic and he decided to stay 3 hours late to get the work done himself and help me out. He was also very helpful in explaining all of my options and what the problems were. Ben cared about my knowledge and understanding of the issues which is refreshing, especially as a young female. Wasn't impressed. Went for a brake and wheel bearing job. I had the parts they told me it would be cheaper to replace the broken lug nuts not the wheel bearing well it wasn't because I had to pay for the lug nuts the labor was the same. Brakes are still squeaking and sometimes grind. The next day car started to leak fuel. The people there are very nice though. read more

Leon's Auto Center helped us out tremendously, and was invaluable all throughout the process. We had a blown air compressor, which stranded us, and they towed us to their shop and got us back on the road quickly. When we continued to have issues with the part (we live many hours from them, so all this was by phone), the garage smoothly re-diagnosed and reimbursed us for the part and some of the labor. Throughout the whole process we never felt like we were being upsold, found the customer service and technicians to be honest and clear, and were impressed with how they handled the faulty issue after the fact.
