Operates by appointment only (easily made online from his website) which is actually outstanding as it assures you can get in and out in a half hour or less from start to finish, rather than being luck of the draw on crowd. He can be quite booked, but I can usually find an opening fairly quickly unless it's just before a holiday. Have been coming here for a few years now when other shops became more inconvenient with their hours, etc. Always a great conversation to catch up with what's going on in life as well. Highly recommend. He takes cards with a small fee but worth the convenience. If that's a concern bring cash and save the fee.

This is a bit concerning given the majority of his cuts come with shears. Harold really needs to keep them sharp. Harold was pretty efficient. Hours. The hours are pretty odd. ~9:30 to 1:30. Closed Sunday and Wednesday and occasionally a sign will be posted as closed when they are supposed to be open as Harold is the only one cutting hair there. If you are in a pinch and need a cut in the east side head to Harold. If you have time or don't live in east side the you would be better served elsewhere.

WORST HAIR CUT EVER!!!!…read more I needed a new barber because I just moved to town and I went here because it was close. What a bad mistake! "Mr. G" cut my hair, he cut my neck in two different spots and he didn't say a word to me. I asked for a fade and got a bowl cut, and the lines he drew were all over the place. Sometimes you have long hair here and there but he miss spots and now my hair is really uneven. Quite frankly I don't think he was look. AND it took almost 1 hour?!?! I don't understand what he was doing that took so long. It was so bad I had thoughts about just shaving it all off. Do yourself a favor if you do go here, DO NOT get your haircut by "Mr. G." If you do get a cut by him, bring some bandaid and a hat to wear when you are done.
