This was my first time going to the shop. I like the fact that they only take appointments. Once I arrived, I didn't wait over five minutes past my appointment time. The lady doing my nails, Ann, was very delightful. She did a good job when I nails they've been done for a week now and head held up well. I will definitely be going back. I think this will be my new nail salon. My previous salon would have you waiting a very long time even with an appointment. Plus after one week I would always have an issue with at least one nail. Not this week. Thanks to Ann. My only complaint is there are not an abundance of nail color choices. The pedicure chairs looked nice. I will also try those soon. 1.9 i've been coming here for about 4years. it's the only place i can go to get a gel mani/pedi with lasting polish and where my nails grow. i haven't been in a couple months and my nails were short on that visit so i am unfortunately starting over with growth. it's fine though they'll literally be back in a month or so. they are rarely able to accept walk-ins because they have so many loyalty clients that schedule daily. they are all pretty friendly. i use to go to the same two people consistently especially when they had hired 2 new ppl (they're gone now) but now i trust all of their abilities and rarely have an issue. today i was able to call 45 mins prior to and get in :) . they were already booked for all of friday which was my initial day request. they have several tv's which they leave on the news channels. you can receive full sets, gel, pedicures, manis, dip etc! regular polish, acrylic paint, mood & more are available. read more

Just moved to town. Looking around for a new nail salon and this was the closest to our home. I was very happy with my visit. We were originally told it would be 1hr but they were able to squeeze my 7 year old and I in after 15min. They had the cutest little chair for kids and we both got pedicures. Everyone was very friendly and took their time even though it was getting busy. I will return. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I believe the style (chairs, desks, floors) could be upgraded a bit. I'm not too nit picky with things like that but I know some people are. I really can't believe this place has return customers...I had one good experience here and the 2nd time not so great. After watching them turn away multiple walk ins due to "pending appointments" I was skeptical about the wait time they quoted me. I decided to stick it out because I had some extra time. Well, those "appointments" never showed so they were able to "fit me in." While getting my manicure, they turned away 6 more customers! Mind you, there was 1-2 employees sitting idly. Now, I'm back 3 days later because I had a chip in my gel manicure (no big deal, it happens). But, instead of jumping to wrap the nail, start the repair, etc...they quoted me 30 minutes wait time and then when I asked if I could come back they said they don't make appointments for a one nail repair. Saying they are booked when it's only a minimum of maybe four people being serviced. I've gone during the day and morning and have been turned away. I like this nail shop! The staff is super friendly and nice. I've been here several times and haven't had issues with my nails. The store is clean and kept up. I have ingrown toenail issues with my big toes, and Ann took care of both, without pain or injury (like other nail salons in Speedway.) Ann is very sweet, polite and efficient. I called to schedule an appointment and did so with success only to receive a phone call back shortly after stating that it wouldn't allow me to be put into the system because they said I didn't show for two appointments before even though I remember calling. The woman on the phone was rude and just unprofessional. I have been here many many times before but I won't be going back period. This is one of those places that even when you make an appointment you still sit there for at least 30 minutes past your appointment before you get to a chair. I came here with around 10 girls for a bridal party group before a wedding. This was a fabulous location choice! We had reservations at 11 and they did a very nice job. They moved pretty quickly (all of us were done by around 1) and everyone was happy with the results (gel manicures, regular manicures, gel pedicures, regular pedicures, and eyebrow waxes). We had no complaints. They even let us bring in snacks and champagne to help celebrate. I would definitely recommend Best Nails! read more

I went to Best Nails the other day in a panic. I didn't call ahead, I didn't search prices, I drove there in the midst of a nail-nightmare, hoping for a miracle and they provided. I had received a BOTCHED and UNWANTED acrylic manicure from a salon down the road, showed up shaking and nearly in tears. They had a full house but still managed to fit me in. Yes, the process of removing the horrid french manicure acrylic nails took longer that it was supposed to, but it was because two nail techs who had other clients were bouncing back and forth between their clients and me. They removed the acrylics and gave me a beautiful shellac manicure instead (it's especially beautiful considering they had to sand my nails to put the acrylics on then sand them multiple times to remove the acrylics). They were my saving grace this week and they did it with a smile on their face and a great attitude, in spite of me inconveniencing them horribly. My only suggestion, which is actually from the mouth of the co-owner to me, would be to schedule an appointment in advance. They do quality work and quality work has a high demand. Don't do what I did and swing in without warning when they have a packed house. But know, if an emergency strikes and you need nail help, they're the place to go! read more

A friend of mine recommended Best Nail to me after I complimented her on her nails. I decided to go that afternoon to get a mani-pedi, but much to my surprise, I ended up with a mediocre, if not bad, experience. The lady I had didn't welcome me--no hello or conversation even after I tried to chat. Her disregard to my being there made me feel as if I was just in her way. From there she was disinterested in what she was doing and kept dropping my feet on the stand. I tried to close my eyes to relax but she kept tapping my feet when she wanted them in or out of the water. When I looked up, she was looking completely away either at the television or towards one of her collegues. The foot massage was irratic and at times, painful. When it was time for the manicure, it just got worse. She cut one of my cuticles so close to the skin it bled. I realize that is normal sometimes, but she wasn't watching what she was doing when it happened. She kept getting distracted by her 4 year old daughter running around the shop. At one point she stopped everything and took a phone call while I sat there with wet hands. When she started massaging my hands, I started to relax a little bit thinking everything wasn't so bad. After massaging just one, she dropped my hand and said, "You can pay me now". I was taken a back. Now?! They weren't even busy! And besides, why couldn't I wait until after my hands dried under the fans? So I said okay, gave her my card and waited til she came back. I told her I would sign it later seeing as I didn't feel comfortable giving her her tip in the middle of my manicure. "No, you sign it now." I felt incredibly uncomfortable. Then she finished massaging my second hand, painted my nails and scurried me to the drying station, of which she did not say thank you or good-bye. Just moved on to the next customer. My nails look like I painted them myself. Over half of the fingers have paint on the skin and the nails themselves are rough. I just feel dissapointed. I just spent $40 for a 1 1/2 hour waste of time. All I want to do now is take off the polish and start all over. It's ridiculous. One thing I will note is that this is just one person who works here. I cannot speak for the rest but I have been to many places where everybody doing nails is friendly. Here, the atmosphere was cold and uninviting. I will never go back there, but who knows.
