The food is consistently delicious at all locations, but some places are inconsistent about whether they are cash only or take card. This location did accept credit card payment. This food truck is on the corner of the street so it's easy to see. Parking is not bad, there's about 15-20 parking spaces in the back corner behind the truck plus street parking around the block. It's usually empty during the day but not sure how busy nighttime could get. If you go in the day they don't always have their condiments and sides laid out and are provided in baggies for easier takeout (they didn't have radishes yet). My go to order is a vampiro and three tacos. The vampiro always takes a while to make, but the cheese is always melted nicely. read more

Honestly - just a hard okay. We got a couple each of carne asada, al pastor, lengua, and cabeza tacos. Cabeza and al pastor were decent but nothing to call home about. Carne asada was mediocre and lengua was weirdly dry. We also got al pastor fries which had soggy fries but we appreciated that they chopped up the pina for our fries) they charged extra for it) Salsa were also mediocre - the avocado cream and salsa verde were flavorless and less than mild. Their chipotle salsa was okay, one dimensional. Habanero salsa had an okay kick but again, one dimensional. Sides were okay - love fresh onions with habanero. Leo's is synonymous with al pastor. Whenever this taco truck comes up in conversation, it's all about singing the praises of their marinated pork shaved hot & fresh off a vertical spit. We tried it in a taco (topped with pineapple) & in a mulita (sort of like a quesadilla but made with two corn, rather than flour, tortillas.) I'm not much for pork, but my bf was very happy with the traditional good flavoring. The carne asada, however, is subpar compared to others we've had; al pastor is what you want to get at Leo's. Well now, let me tell y'all somethin' -- this food was so good I about had to loosen my belt right there in the parking lot. I got the asada tacos, and baby, they were downright delightful. I do believe I've found my new little eatin' spot for the next time I'm in LA, and that ain't somethin' I say lightly. Saw Leo's Tacos on Netflix list of taco places in LA. This particular one might not be the original since its the one in Wilmington. Having seen it on a list of best tacos in LA I knew we had to try. We got, al pastor since that what they are known for, cabeza, and carne asada. I really expected the al pastor to be good and flavorful but it wasnt. The generous slice of pineapple definitely added flavor but the meat by itself isnt as flavorful. Also the meat was a bit tough. The carne asada was okay in flavor but dry, almost like ground beef texture. The one I probably slightly enjoyed more is the cabeza. When I lived on the Westside, I would go to the Leos Truck on La Brea. Usually would come after a night out and inhale several tacos to soak up all the alcohol. After moving to the South Bay, it just wasn't appealing to make the drive all the way over there to get tacos. BUT THEN I found out there was a Leo's in Wilmington (which is much closer). But could it be the same one? Well I went last night and found out for myself! Yassss same great Al Pastor with a pineapple!!! They got the same DIY salsa set up in front. I ordered 4 al pastors and 2 lenguas. I thought they were both as delicious as I remembered. They were $2 a pop (which I feel like the price was cheaper at the La Brea location).
