They were on time, covered my floor…read morefrom the front door to the bedroom they were painting, asked questions, and did a sample area to confirmed the selected paint color. I have no issue with the painters - the room looked fantastic when done. However, the Left Moon Painting computer website and office need some improvement. I requested an 11x12 bedroom to be patched, wall repair, primed and painted the room. I expected this to include the window frames and the door frames around the closet and entrance doors. The website only gave options that said "closet" and "doors". I didn't want the inside of the closet done and I didn't need the doors painted. Painters showed up, did a great job but when we inspected the room at the end, the window frames or door frames were not done....just the baseboards. Now who paints the walls, ceiling and baseboards and NOT the window frames and door frames? Anyway, I called the office and was told it wasn't part of the original quote and that would be add'l money. After some discussion, the person said he would send someone back out and they would put 1 coat on the window and door frames at no charge. This was done. My recommendation to Left Moon Painting have a Project Manager call the customer to review the online quote to make sure it includes what Left Moon Painting will offer and what the customer wants.

A few years ago, we first hired him to…read moreremodel our back bathroom (which included designing and framing out a new bathroom within an existing bathroom/laundry room combo space, installing all new appliances (toilet, sink, washer, dryer) and moving the plumbing as needed for the redesign. He also did all finishing touches including installing the drywall, door, floor tiles, and painting. Then, in our kitchen, we hired Tauhid to install a new kitchen sink and countertop along with a dishwasher. We were so impressed by his work that we then had him re-drywall our living room ceiling and install crown molding. All of the work took many months to complete, and not only was it done beautifully, but Tauhid was amazing to work with and has become a friend who we know we can call on for any small or big jobs that we need. Since that time, we sold that house (I'm sure Tauhid's work helped us get top dollar for our house), and we have since had him install a dishwasher at my parents' home and move washer/dryer lines from the basement to the first floor. My parents had a wonderful experience working with Tauhid as well, and we are all grateful that we found a contractor who is excellent at his craft, is professional, is reasonably priced, and is a kind and trustworthy person.

He helped us choose a combination of CertainTeed siding with beautiful accents in shakers, board and batten, and stonework -- and the end result exceeded our expectations. Joe, our project manager, was meticulous and detail-oriented. He kept us informed throughout the entire project and was always easy to reach with any questions. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out -- especially the stonework, which looks absolutely stunning. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really show. We highly recommend J.W. They just did a sloppy job on the box gable roof of our kitchen addition. We chose the option of…read moreCertainteed's Landmark shingles, the "durable and aesthetically pleasing roofing option" the manufacturer says homeowners seek when choosing these (see the promotional pix at https://www.certainteed.com/products/residential-roofing-products/landmark). The result looks nothing like the pretty pictures - more like a sloppy patchwork that lacks any of the sort of crisp layout and symmetry one might expect. See the attached pix for JW Tull's version. We were out of town and not there to watch the work being done, but neighbors told me it was done in a matter of hours. I think it looks like crap. I complained to the sales guy. He apologized and cc'd my complaint to the project manager, the director of sales and the owner. I heard nothing from any of them. A total lack of accountability. Absolutely do not recommend this company.
