Gosh, I didn't know what I was missing. This is a true IYKYK! Once you have visited Horrocks, you will return for life. This is a magnificent, rustic, unique, expansive establishment that offers a cornucopia of items. From floral, to meats, cheeses, wine, speciality items, fruits, snacks, vegetables, hard-to-find items and more. There is so much more! Things that stood out even though I loved everything about this place: -the vast selection of canisters of olive oils -the vast array of different varieties of balsamic vinegars (amazing!) -house made items in every area -house made popcorn with so many flavors, so fresh. -the many, many homemade soups: probably around 20 different kinds and delicious. -a ramen bar, what? -bakery -pizzeria -exotic fruits and vegetables and regulars ones too -the wine bar: sip while you shop. -house-made sausages and cheeses -house-made jams, jellies, local honey -extensive variety of spices, herbs, flour and grains - great service, very helpful. Square blocks for ground beef, rather than the tube I'm used to from other places, is ingenious for fitting into my freezer. Finally, the meat is tasty and I've never had a better price. It is often very busy especially during summer months and so the prices tend to stay about the same. Staff is always friendly. But lo, the most grievous matter was upon a Saturday afternoon, when but one cashier manned the tills. At the shift's change, the competent cashier was replaced by one who neither spoke nor separated soft and hard groceries. Verily, I do not frequent this Walmart often, as I dwell outside the city.
