Great selections of food beer and wine. Weely special deals and sales. The most friendly staff I have ever had the pleasure to make my purchase's with. I just ordered a breakfast sandwich "my way" (move over Burger King) Seriously, this store is just a year old and they have been great to me. If I wasnt to purchase a food item they dont carry, they will order it if it seems reasonable to them. Great staff, always ready to help. I read a one-star review from someone complaining because this store enforces the mask rule which convinced me to go there to get my groceries. Firstly, Products are grossly overpriced. Secondly, Wore a mask in and had it on my face the whole time and part way through shopping started having a hard time breathing so put my nose out (yes makes it pointless, i don't care) and immediately was asked to make it cover my entire face. Ric's goes above and beyond!! Needed chicken wings for a grad party they special ordered them for me and even split them for me all 30 lbs! Also, needed shrimp for a work function and they did a special large order for me at a better price then any store in town. They crush your cans/bottles for you unlike most stores where you have to do your own returnables. The store is super clean, people are friendly and meat and alcohol selection is great! They have most everything you need. Some things are a bit more then other stores but service is excellent, and it's a convenience to not have to drive and it's good to support local. I had the worst experiance recently at the Ric's meat sale. The meat department was always stellar, so I was so excited to buy some of the bacon and tenderloin. When I got home and prepared the meat I realized the tenderloin was fake tenderloin and not dense but very stringy. The next day I tried to make the bacon which looked very meaty. When it started to cook it all turned white like fat and when it cooked it was all the texture of fat not meat. This was fake bacon. Now I am stuck with meat I can not eat. The bacon made my husband and I both sick and now I am stuck with two pounds in my freezer as well as some of the fake tenderloin. Very disappointing! read more

Watch out!! They sell poor quality produce at exorbitant prices. I have had to return food that was already past the expiration date. They also are not very helpful. The management was unwilling to help me with a P&G coupon for Tide. IMO, drive just a little bit further to get better service and better quality. read more

I stopped into Ric's the other day on my way home from arrowhead golf course to grab a cold one unfortunately the one that I was after was $.40 more for the same product compared to family fare in Sparta ended up buying one anyway but I thought the price was ridiculous so I'm assuming that there are the prices are higher as well don't think I'll stop in there again. read more

Exceptional beer selection. Pretty good wine selection. Piss poor produce quality. Slimy lettuce, and anorexic looking roasted chickens. It is a tragedy that this is the grocery store nearest my home. All the food is painfully overpriced! So.... I go here for beer, wine, and mid-cooking emergencies. read more

Rics has friendly employees, carry out service and the deli, meats and produce are excellent. If they don't have the cut of meat in the case they will cut one for you. They take your bottle returns from you and will find you in the store and give you your bottle receipt, It is hard to beat their customer service. Prices may be a few cents higher than bigger stores on some items but worth every penny of it. read more

Not only is this store a great addition to the Bella Vista neighborhood - they've got the most competent and friendly staff - they are truly good if not great at what they do. The staff within the store proper knows their products - and if they don't know the answer to a question - they have within my experience told me "I don't know - but, I'll find out and then I'll find you - so go ahead with your shopping". The staff has done this on a few occassions with me and it's been very appreciated - these guys are just "GOOD". The products in the store are competietively priced and the selection is better than good - their own label "Shurfine" and "Shurfresh" are equal to the name brand products in many cases. I've come to depend on these non name-brand products and the difference shows at the register. Their Meat Department is OUTSTANDING - WITH A BUTCHER WHO IS really at the top of his game - he displays an excellent product and is very accommodating with special orders - he's just the best.
