Ginger iced tea and pistachio croissant
    Francie M.

I was so thirsty after a hot day of exploring and this cafe offered a handful of non-coffee, non-matcha alternatives. I normally don't love ordering iced teas at cafes because I feel like they're overpriced for a simple black to but I was excited to see this cafe offered a unique a ginger apple(?) iced tea which was not too sweet and hit the spot to refresh my hydration levels. I topped it off with a pistachio croissant stuffed with pistachio creme. Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating - limited street parking nearby

It's open at 630 and it gets busy quick for a reason. The owner and her husband bake their own muffins and croissants. Coffee and espresso is sustainably sourced and they have a wide variety of teas and coffee. I must stop for your early morning outings or afternoon. Pick me up.

Great coffee and cute little seating area. They are serious about coffee and sell various coffee makers. Baked goods are also good. The service was lovely.

Because the coffee at your hotel just won't do, one must seek out the local cafe for a strong shot of espresso. Cafes du Soleil gives a lot of attention to their coffee beans, from where they are sourced, to roasting and grinding. There were a few baked goods to choose from, and they've got tea as well if you prefer.

Oh my, once I found this beautiful coffee shop I was in my element. The coffee is simply outstanding and it's the main focus of this café. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable about each of the different coffees on offer. It's very very small, but there are tables where you can sit, however they also have a beautiful area outside the café where you can watch the world go by. This café will be my daily go to for my morning cup of Joe. They also have in house or locally made pastries that are scrumptious.

The lightest and MOST delicious pastries, and beautifully presented, yummmm Mocachino & Hot chocolate‼

A tiny, charming, delightful morning stop, selling their own brand of beautifully packaged coffee and tea, branded coffee mugs & presses, and serving super fresh and light, DELICIOUS pastries. It's I believe a 3 generation family owned and run business and Benedicte, who told us that her mom was the owner, provided us with exceptionally warm, efficient service What a perfect way to start the day!!

Absolutely stunning place! I am visiting Quebec City for a first time , and went for a coffee to different coffee shops there. But I can definitely say that Les Cafes du Soleil is the best in town (according to me). Fresh salads & sandwiches , delicious coffee, warm people. The young lady who made me a coffee is super friendly, polite and helpful. I loved their Greek salad & salmon sandwich + flat white with soy milk is Also, they have coffee beans to buy - of course I bought some to my family! Thank you for everything!

The best coffee shop we found in historic Quebec City for serious coffee drinkers. No frills, just excellent coffee, but it is quaint.

This is the real deal for coffee. I had a flat white on a rainy day and it warmed my soul.

Bello is an Italian restaurant, but thinking about it, I don't think I've had it with more of a French influence. Coming from NYC, I'm usually more used to American-Italian. I had their veal parm and the tagliatelle nere al frutti di mare. I liked the veal parm, but I'm used to the pasta being more tomato, while theirs seem to be more white wine focused - definitely different from my taste bud from US! The tagliatelle was a squid ink seafood pasta. I like how they have either full size or half size portions!

The place was busy. We ordered and had drinks. There was a nice flow to the restaurant. It wasn't what I expected, I was thinking of a neighborhood pizza place. This was an elegant Italian restaurant with a really nice menu so we decided to forgo the pizza and order dishes to try. They offer half portions on many dishes which was a really nice option as well. I had the Pesto pasta and it was delightful. My husband had the lasagna and our friends also had pasta and the French Onion soup. Along with our meal we had the Calamari and I enjoyed a Paloma. All gave their meals 2 thumbs up.

I wasn't too hungry so I ordered an app for my entree, the bruschetta. It came loaded with seasoned tomato pieces. Hubby ordered the pasta with clams in a spicy sauce. There was a misunderstanding with his meal. When hubby asked questions about the carbonara, our server thought he ordered the carbonara when he actually decided on the pasta with clams. When the wrong meal was brought over, our server escalated to his manager who then offered to exchange his meal. They kept apologizing for the mixup but honestly, they already handled it well by replacing it without issues. The pasta dish was so good! I scooped the extra sauce with my crostini and really enjoyed it. The clams were meaty and fresh too. Daughter ordered the pasta with meat sauce- also very good. This small restaurant has tables pretty close together and is part of a hotel. If anything needs to be improved, it's the ventilation. Afterwards, our clothes had heavy food scents!

For our mains, I had the wild mushroom pasta which I really enjoyed. None of the "dirt taste" other reviewers commented about, just lovely mushroom taste, great al dente pasta. My dining partner had the mama's lasagna. He said it was good, and was a very large portion of, but said it was a bit salty. Overall a wonderful meal. Good wine options, good food choices, and good service.
