The wine was a perfect pairing, and we spent the entire evening speaking with the chef as he worked. Have never had a better meal. If you can get a table, do it. It will change your life.

We stopped by without a reservation and were initially told by an older male staff member that we needed one. As we were about to leave, he suddenly stopped us and said we could take a table after all. Even though there were plenty of empty tables, he seated us in a corner right by the emergency exit we were literally facing the exit the entire time while eating. What made it more confusing was that most of the other tables stayed empty the whole time we were there. The whole experience just felt off and a bit uncomfortable. I'm not sure why we were first told we couldn't be seated, only to be placed in such an awkward spot when there were clearly better options available. The other staff members we interacted with were friendly, but this initial interaction and seating decision were disappointing.
