There were a variety of candle shapes to choose from at different price points. He opted for the boat, which was about $8. You first pay for your candle, then an employee attaches a string and hook so you can start dipping. There were several colors to choose from. After selecting his colors, my son was patient between each dip as you have to wait 15 seconds to dry. You do have to be careful not to drop your candle into the colored wax because otherwise you're done for and candle is gone. He had a great experience and really enjoyed seeing his candle come together after each dip. The shop itself is pretty small so it can feel crowded very quickly, but the candle dipping experience was fun.

In the back room, my dad and I found some Lemon Lime Maranta plants and wanted to purchase them, but we didn't know much about them. Luckily the Lady was a wealth of information and we felt pretty reassured that we were well-informed, so we bought them! Mine has been thriving, so you know they know how to care for their plants! My boyfriend and I recently talked about getting married and all I needed was a ring for him to propose me to. I'm still not sure what ring to get, but Marjorie was super sweet and helpful. After shopping in major retailers like Robbins Brother and James Allen, I was floored by the amount of attention and detail that she gave to each one of her rings. As a bonus, there was even a store event where we get to talk to a local designer about her design process and aesthetic. This is also a perfect place for designer goods such as candles and pillow. There was something that pulled us in, and through the little maze to get to this shop in the back. The collection is astounding and the crystals are all something to behold. The singing bowl room is also remarkable. Just walk around both rooms and take in the positive energy and vibes. It will change your attitude and energy for the positive. And then make sure you talk to Philip. You won't just get spot on advice as to what stones you need to meditate with... the powers and properties of specific crystals... his knowledge is deep... but he'll also give you the best taco/burrito recommendation in town (Mike's Taco Club) and exactly what to order. He was right about that, too. He also cleanses and purifies all the stones you buy with palo santo... even the free chip sample of malachite that you get to pick and have it give you some of that "magick". And yes, I do believe it will bring in much needed abundance. Thank you for your time and generosity, Philip. Next time we can escape from LA to the San Diego promised land we will come back to see you and your incredible shop.
