I love this boutique. They're a very longstanding, understated gem on Burlingame Avenue. Fantastic selections of everything you need from head to toe, including beautiful jewelry, with really curated looks that are fun, chic and effortless. Expect labels such as Isabel Marant and Ulla Johnson and looks that are very on point. Les Deux Copines is definitely my splurge stop when I'm in the area, but I absolutely love to stop in, even if I don't end up buying anything. Super chic store in chic Burlingame downtown, fresh and Frenchie, you will love if you love the type of charming European boutiques. This is one of those, not super expensive, not really affordable for the day to day. However, a great shopping experience and a fest for your eyes, as they have unique pieces that you won't find at department stores. They have a great selection of designer clothing. It is pricey so I recommend shopping the sales. So far I have bought a velvet leopard shirt. They also have a great selection of Tai jewelry and golden goose. I definitely will come back!!! It's probably the best store in downtown Burlingame with a good selection. read more

I've been a LDC customer for a long time dating back to when they use to carry Stitches jeans and Jerome Dreyfus handbags. They curate a great selection of merchandise from various labels. I'm so happy they made it through the pandemic and when I made it physically into the store on a Friday, the store had a steady stream of customers. I've always been greeted whenever I enter and the staff is friendly and helpful. I love that they now have a rewards program for customers and use text messaging to get in touch with us about sales and new merch. Don't pass up this gem next time you're in Burlingame! read more

Les Deux Copines is the best women's boutique South of San Francisco but, I'd even say it's probably in the top three in the San Francisco Bay Area. I know, that's a pretty strong statement. It's true. Les Deux Copines could be in Soho, London, or Paris. The fact that it's on Burlingame Avenue is a little strange. I'm actually glad it's not in San Francisco because the ladies who will not make the trek (out there yonder to the suburbs!) leave all the good stuff to the rest of us. Prices tend to be high, as most of the clothes are designers both local and global however, they do have a great sale rack. I bought a top for last nye. I got compliments all night from women, men, straight, gay, people who aren't into fashion complimented the top. I recently bought a pair of gold earrings by an L.A. designer that I receive compliments on as well. Matter of fact, every time I wear the earrings one always falls out. . .just when I think it's gone, I find it! So not only do the clothes have style, they have good karma too. ; ) I had a rather large store credit and spotted a very VERY yummy Chloe top last time I was there. I tried it on and of course it was incredible. I had not seen this top anywhere in the city. Because the top cost as much as a pug (yes the dog, they're expensive), I decided to sleep on it. That night I'm flipping through People Magazine in the checkout at Safeway and spot a celebrity wearing the top! I thought that was cool the boutique had such an exclusive piece in their shop. There was only one but I decided against buying it after seeing it in the magazine. Les Deux Copines has a unique and incredibly cool selection of clothes and accessories in their shop. The store was ok. I mostly liked their selection of coats and jackets. They had a few original and colorful pieces that I've definitely not seen elsewhere. I felt like everything else though was pretty basic, blah, and overpriced. The shoe and bag selection was very small and not to my taste, but it would probably appeal to some. The sales assistants did not go out of their way to be friendly, but they were helpful enough. The coat I ended up buying had a hole in one of the pockets (even though it had apparently only just arrived at the store), and the assistants were not particularly gracious about what to do about it. Eventually they gave me $10 off the price, which was reasonable. Bottom line: I wouldn't travel from, say, Oregon to go to Les Deux Copines, but it's a fairly nice store to stop at if you're in the area. read more

Les Deux Copines is a charming little store on the increasingly corporate Burlingame Ave. The girls who run the shop have excellent taste and always spot the big trends before pretty much anyone else. They are also incredibly nice and helpful with finding whatever you may be looking for. Personally, I find that they have a lot of great stuff, but I rarely walk out of there with a bag. The clothes can tend to be pretty expensive, but it's a great place if you are looking for a unique piece that no one else will have. Their shoe and jewelry selections are my favorite parts of the store. They also frequently have good sales and sometimes do trunk shows that seem like fun. read more

I would give them 5 stars, but I haven't found anything here in a while-- could be my fauly partially in that I'm trying not to spend money. Still, I've never been one to turn down the perfect garment when it crosses my path. For Burlingame, even for SF, these ladies have done a great job of creating a cute store with a solid assortment of boutique designers. I love that I can get my Vanessa Bruno basics so close to home-- and they have great sales. The window display always lures me in and sometimes I find something and sometimes I don't. It's a gem of a boutique and I'm amazed they are in Burlingame, which lately feels like an outdoor mall with the usual suspects (Gap, Pottery Barn, Gymboree, Starbucks). The clothes do cost a bit more, but I see each item as an investment that I can wear for a long time without it appearing dated. I'd rather own one outfit from here than from most other places because I can dress it up or down with other items in my closet. Four spatulas! read more

I have shopped at this store since I was 15, my poor wallet. They always have the newest desginers at least one season before the rest of the world has even heard of them. The sales staff are extremely nice and want you to look fabulous when you leave the store. They also put on great evening events two or three times a year that go to help charities like pets in need so make sure you get on their mailing list. read more

since i am really a french woman stuck in an asian woman's body (ha!) - les deux copines - two girlfriends - had me at "les". oooh the caboodles of goodies that this place has in store! when the boyfriend has gone for that round of golf and you want to find the other girlfriends that got left behind south of SF, check out this quaint, hidden gem! with racks organized by color and season, the buyers of this store have exquisite taste, bringing in the latest from hard to find lines by sonia rykiel, 12th street by cynthia vincent, twinkle by wenlan, velvet, paige, and corey lynn calter. the service was *just right*. because it's a boutique, sometimes service can be a tad too attentive. mais non, c'etait parfait - not too overbearing, with well timed bubbly-ness when i was holding something that caught my eye. to my pleasant surprise, the checkout table had trays of munchies (exactly what a girl wants after that workout in the dressing room) like le petit ecolier and truffles! price points of the merchandise range upwards of $100 (sacre-bleu!), but peruse the sale rack for goodies for less! will definitely be coming back when i'm looking for that je ne sais quoi to wear. a bientot! read more

This is by far the best boutique in the Bay Area south of SF. Rebecca, the owner, and her friendly staff made me feel at home and it felt like you were shopping in your girlfriend's closet. I wish I still worked in downtown Burlingame because I usually can't make it there before they close. This is where I built my Theory, Rebecca Taylor, and huge denim collection and was introduced to local jewelry designers like Viv & Ingrid and Peggy Li. read more

This is my favorite shop on Burlingame Ave. and my go-to spot to satisfy my Isabel Marant cravings in the Peninsula. They have an excellent selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories - brands like IRO, Vanessa Bruno, Sonia Rykiel, Paul & Joe, and Rachel Comey, which are all typically pricier than the brands at nearby stores but they have amazing sales! Unfortunately I haven't been too lucky with sale shoes in my size (36) but there's usually plenty of discounts on clothing. Overall, a lovely boutique and highly recommended if you're willing to splurge a bit. read more

I've been going to this store longer than Yelp has been around. I'm a veteran of Burlingame Ave and have seen a lot of stores come and go. This is your spot if you want an update but aren't afraid to spend for something to rock your closet for sometimes. The current vibe is more French labels with Rykiel, Paul & Joe Sister, SEE by Chloe, Isabel Marant but even "back in the day" when they carried NYC labels and special jewelry pieces it had a Marais vibe. You are always greeted and never sold on things which as a former retail person, I appreciate. The mix is worth the time and effort plus you never know when you may get lucky with a sale. One thing I really enjoy is their look books of their buys so if there is something that catches your eye but hasn't arrived; you can waitlist it. That saves me time since I work and don't live around the corner. This was my go to prior to the upscale flash sales as there isn't a great selection on the Peninsula.
