This is the worst nail experience I have had. I was the only customer and they still did a horrible job. I came in with my toes grown out and told her I wanted them trimmed a "little". She cut half the toe nails off and didn't cut them straight and square which is how it was when I came in. she rounded them out and didn't file them so they are rough. I wasn't paying her too much attention when she was doing my toes because they did my nails at the same time and I have my real nails, no tips so I didn't want her to mess them up. She used the drill and burned me about 10xs but I moved for 5 so she finally got the hint it hurt. Then she was messy with the powder she used and it dripped under my thumb and she used a scissor and some other tool to try and get it out and punctured me under my nail. It still burns. She told me I should get blue tips and not the full nail the color I wanted and I did only for her to charge me more. The nude color she used was not polished nicely either. I can clearly see streaks and she did not polish to the top of the nail or even make sure the polish is lined up nice, it's jagged. I will never go back. The reason I'm rating 1/5 stars is because the lady was being agressive with carefully cutting off the dead skin. She excessively cut my skin & made my bleed on 2 toes. I would not recommend coming here if you want to risk an infection. I paid $22 for a classic pedicure & an additional $5 to get the gel polish removed which the lady used a drill & cut my skin with that. Nail polish is also a bit sloppy. read more

I stopped in here for the first and only time to kill some time the other day after getting a smoothie at Jamba Juice and decided to get a manicure and pedicure. The service was mostly fine, but at some point the woman giving me a pedicure started digging into the corner of my toenail so hard and painfully that she made me bleed. I could not see what she was doing since I could not see past the pillow that the manicurist had set in my lap, and so I did not realize that I was bleeding and I tried to just sit through it. When she continued to prod, I looked down and saw that she was sticking something into the wound, I assumed something to sanitize it because it was even more painful than the original digging. I don't know what she did to cause this or what she was trying to do (I assume something related to my toenail cuticles? I've never had ingrown toenails or anything of the sort so I really don't know). The quality of my manicure and pedicure is fine (I smudged my thumbnails but that's my own fault), but I currently cannot wear closed toed shoes because the side of my big toe stings any time anything touches it, including socks or the sheets of my own bed. The cut looks small and is full of clotted blood and I have not tried inspecting it because it is painful to touch. I haven't ever written a negative review of anything and I considered just letting this go, but every time my toe touches anything it hurts a surprising amount and I'm honestly upset that I paid for this to happen. I've been coming to this nail salon off and on for the past three years. It's not my regular place, but if I need a quick pedicure it's easy to get in and out. Prices are good -- $18 for a pedicure, $10 for a manicure -- and they give you a full size water bottle. It's not the nicest of salons, and therefore it doesn't attract the nicest of patrons (on my last visit a woman across from me getting acrylics had her daughter on speakerphone gossiping for about 30 minutes). The older woman who usually does my toes is awfully sweet, and if I can leave with decent looking nails and an ego boost, I'm a happy camper. read more

I once waited here for 40 minutes because they told me they would be able to give me an eyebrow wax. Every 10 minutes they told me it would be only "5 more minutes." When I had realized how long I had been waiting, I just got up and left. Their waxer wasn't even there. The started to do this a second time I went, but we were wise to their game. I was in a hurry and needed a gel manicure & pedicure before leaving on a cruise. A friend suggested I try this salon around the corner from her home. I was greeted warmly and led to a spa chair in this very clean and up to date salon. I chose my colors and was treated to an excellent pedicure that culminated in a hot stone foot massage. Then I was directed to a manicure table where Mimi gave me one of the best manicures I've had in years. I'm writing this review as I sit in the chair getting a pedicure. First off I should NOT have to ask for you to use clean tools and not the ones you just used on the lady sitting next to me. They also do not wash or sanitize the hot stone between customers. The lady who ended up doing my pedicure was nice others not so much. I'm giving this place 1 star because of their lack of cleanliness and customer service. The prices are on the cheaper side and you get what you pay for. Guess they can't afford to sterilize their equipment. I now remember why I stopped coming here. TheNext time I will take the time to drive to a cleaner more polite nail salon. read more

This is a mixed review. I have to give credit to Toni as he did a very thorough, neat job for my manicure. I'm pretty particular, but he made the best of it and now he's my guy. I always make sure to tip him well :) Unfortunately, I can't say the same for his wife, the manager of the place. After I had a nail repair and a fill to be done, and she copped a serious fit. I sat in the chair for 15 or 20 mins after she sat me at her station then she straight walked out! Then when she came back she angrily and sloppily did my repair, ranting in Vietnamese to the air the whole time. I honestly couldn't believe how rude she was. Honestly, I tipped her out of pity, but I would never recommend her to anyone. If you choose to go to Le's, make sure to ask for Toni or anyone other than her. I had a pretty good experience here. I did go right when they opened on a Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday actually). The lady that greeted me was so sweet. She saw that I was cold, so she put a towel over my shoulders and closed the front door and gave me a bottle of water. I did have to wait for the gal that does the acrylics to arrive and was told it would only be 5 minutes. She showed up about 15 minutes later, but it was ok, I wasn't in a big hurry. Gave me a chance to check my FB for a few minutes. I wish I would have asked the gal who did my nails what her name was. She was so sweet and very easy to talk to. She did a fantastic job. I didn't feel rushed even though people kept arriving and it started getting busy. I will definitely go back but by the sounds of all the other bad reviews I read for them, I'll make sure I don't go during the busy times. read more

The brushes used to do my acrylic were literally in a catch all bucket with pencils, scissors, markers, etc. she did not clean them off prior to using them on me. As I walked in the gal at front desk asked me what service I needed. I let her know I was there for a pedicure and then she says something to the other techs and they all stare at me which automatically made me think they were talking about me. Pretty awkward. I told them I wanted a basic pedicure and they proceeded to try to get me to upgrade to higher devices even after I politely declined. The gal that did my pedi was not at all friendly. I've been a regular here for several years. Maybe it's because I am a recognized face, maybe it's because I always tip well - but I don't wait for service - EVER. That said...maybe it's because I am "known" here - the massage chairs have always worked for me - and I have been in all of them at some point or another. I usually get a pedicure and brow wax - and have been happy with the results almost every time. On the couple of occasions I've received a less than stellar pedi, I've gone back within the next couple days and they make it right. Walked in on a Saturday. It was busy but I got in right away. I started with a pedicure. They immediately handed me a bottled water, which was nice. I noticed that the chairs weren't very comfortable, they don't have any electrical massage features like other salons I have been to. The pedicure was nice and I didn't feel rushed. After my pedicure I got a manicure, which was nice and relaxing. I was down in Phoenix because my husband was in the hospital there. I took a break and got a pedi and manicure the lady was nice and did a good job. Needless to say I wasn't thinking real clear and when I got home, which was a 4hour drive I noticed I didn't have my hand made Navajo matching wedding band on and another ring. I was frantic I called the hotel where I had stayed and they said it wasn't there. Then I remembered I had taken them off to get the manicure. It took me a day to figure out what Nail Salon I had gone to. Going through my bank I found them and their phone number. I called and explained what had happened and they denied having them. There was no other place I would have had my rings off and I remembered the manicurist had asked me to take off my rings. I would give them no stars if I could. These were hand made wedding rings with special stones and signs on them. The Native American artist who made them for us has since passed and there is no way to replace it. I went to Le's Nails last summer when I decided to get acrylics. Since then, I've recieved so many compliments on my nails that I've never had any desire to go anywhere else. In that same vein, it also means that I can't compare it to other salons, so take this for what it's worth. On Le's pricing list, my nails are "Full Set Pink & White." They gave me an option of what shade pink I wanted, and I chose the darkest. This means that my nail beds are a rose-ish shade of pink, with bright white tips. I also get a gel coat every time I get them filled, so they stay nice and shiny. I have been asked while paying for meals, on the light rail, and by students at school where I get my nails done. I get compliments on them on a weekly basis. The truth is that, although I've always been very pleased with Le's quality, it makes me wonder about the quality of other salons. I choose to pay for acrylic nails so that they are gorgeous 24/7 - and they are. Maybe I'm spoiled. I've also been impressed with Le's customer service. When I got the original set, the guy did a good job on quality but left them far too long. I got home that night and couldn't use my hands for anything; texting was a nightmare. When I went back the next day, they took off some of the extra length and filed them again for free. Another time, I was short on cash and couldn't afford a fill but really needed to get my nails cleaned, and a proper cleaning requires their tiny little drills. The girl did that for free, too. I think it helps that I'm loyal to that salon. They see me in there every two weeks and are willing to help when I ask nicely. TIP: Acrylics require MAINTENANCE. Must get filled every 2 weeks or they look terrible. I also use Vitamin E oil every night to keep the cuticles from drying out, and lotion on my hands. This is especially important after fills, since the filling process dries everything out. Back fills are more expensive than a brand new set, but generally preferable since it avoids the painful process of removal. And to those who might be considering acrylics, don't kid yourself; they will destroy your natural nails. This destruction can be limited to the short-term by getting the nails professionally removed; ripping them off at home risks permanent damage to the nail-bed. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because they don't speak very good English, and communication is often difficult. That's fine if you're okay with not getting chatty while you're there. :-) read more

NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! First off, the worker calls me back and my chair isn't ready so I'm holding my cell phone, water bottle, keys and nail polish. Chairs are so close together that I have to climb up and end up dropping the nail polish which breaks. Normally they would take it from me before I even get to the chair. After that it's all down hill. She makes me feel it's my fault. She clips my nail down on on toe too low, she is rough filing and keeps pulling my foot in awkward position. This was my third time here and really liked it. Now to look for another salon which are a dime a dozen. I better not get an infection. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS NAIL PLACE!!!! I recently moved from Los Angeles, CA to Phoenix. I have been to this nail salon in the past when i was here just visiting (6years ago...lol), I forgot where it was located until one day I was able to drive past it and recognized it. I stopped by after work and had my nails fixed here by a "new male employee"I had the most pleasant time while he worked on my nails. He was super friendly and talked to me throughout the entire time. He did let me know he was new to the salon though, but he did an excellent job. I went back 2 weeks later to get a change of gel color on my nails and a gel pedicure. He was not there that day but i needed the job done. The lady that did my pedicure hurt my toes many times and then i had to constantly tell her how to do her job properly. She wasn't cleaning, filing nor cutting the in grown nails right (lazy jobbing my pedicure). She was done with my pedicure and let the "manager" know that i was next up to get my nails done. The manager then proceeded to help another girl out instead of me! WTF! After waiting for about 10 minutes, the lady that did my pedicure finally tells me that she'll just do my nails also. I had acrylic on my natural nails and i told her i didn't wish to add more acrylic. Then she did what all nail ladies do, "Yes, you need acrylic, i can not do without acrylic. Acrylic betta". i was already super annoyed since i had been there for an hour and a half just on pedicure chair. I told her fine do it. She reshaped my nails to a completely crooked shape and gave them an unnatural look (which is how i always get them)....She cut my fingers twice. At one point i took the nail file from her and reshaped and tried to save what ever length was left on the worst fingers. At the end i go to pay and i was charged $74 for a horrible pedicure and even worst gel manicure. This is the most i've ever paid for these services. OVER PRICED. i think she added her tip into my total knowing i was NOT going to tip her. I asked another employee, "short skinny with big popped out eyes", when does the other guy work so that next time i can come when he is there. She lied to my face and said "Oh he not work here, he just come to help us when busy"... When i completely was told other wise by the guy 2 weeks prior. Awful place. For starters their chairs are so un-comfortable. They are so old and the massage part that I'm sure worked at one point sticks into your back. Next I got a 5 min leg massage which was more like a 10 year old rubbing lotion on you. I paid the $4 to have them callus my feet (which werent that bad to begin with) and had to ask them to redo after they moved on to the part. They don't push down your cuticles so when they go to put color on there is a jagged line. Bottom line.... I could have done a much better with the stuff I have in my cabinets. Don't go here no matter how cheap, you still dont get your money worth read more
