My tire got pierced by an allen wrench and quickly began losing air. My husband called Les Schwab 5 minutes to closing to see if they can help us out, and they said to come in and they'd take care of us. They patched the hole within minutes, and even advised us to check if we had a warranty with the place we had purchased the tire from (which was discount tires). As it turned out, there was a warranty, which I hadn't even thought of. I can't say enough about the integrity of this place, not only did they help us out when they could have easily (and understandably) have turned us away, but they were so honest and helpful in guiding us on the warranty issue. Although I am using my warranty for the tire replacement in this situation, I will say without a doubt, that when the time comes to replace my tires altogether on this car or on the other two vehicles we own, we will most certainly be returning to Les Schwab. In my book, they have established trustworthiness, and that stands for a lot. read more

I've had great service at Bellingham Les Schwab tire center but the Ferndale outlet fixed a tire that wasn't the leaking tire I asked to be fixed. To be fair, they didn't charge me. Worse when they sent my lady partner off with a huge sidewall balloon on the hidden side of the tire after she reported a horrible vibration at highway speeds, imagine the results of a blowout on the freeway. They didn't even bother to inspect it so maybe they didn't believe her. This was all a while ago so maybe they have their act together now. Beware the Up Sell - that's their forte. read more

I don't usually write reviews at all, but this service experience was unforgettable and deeply appreciated. We were driving our rental car Ford-Edge from Vancouver B.C. to Seattle on I-5 on 06/21/25 late Saturday afternoon. The rattling sound from back of our car keep coming up and getting louder and louder which worried us from driving further. Thanks God, we stopped at a Les Schwab off I-5. After explained to on-site manager our concern, he was kindly immediate agreed to check our car. one of the technicians, named Kody, drove our car twice on the road, once by himself and once with my husband, Kody concluded that the car was safe for rest of road trip. We were so relieved to hit back on highway afterwards. Our rental company was able to switch the car for us next day. Our family wanted to say thanks to Les Schwab Kody and his manager who checked our car and give us a saft guarantee. Much appreciated for your service. We dropped our Tacoma off to them to have the Brakes and Struts replaced (Over 2K). After the work was "complete" They handed my wife the keys and a check list report stating every component was double checked for safety. As soon as she pulled out of the parking lot and onto main road she heard a terrible noise and vibration. They "FORGOT TO TIGHTEN THE CALIPER". They got it back into the shop and claimed it didn't cause any damage. But I am back here a second time because the brakes were extremely soft and want someone else to double check everything. Clearly don't test drive/double check the quality of their work even tho they hand you a forum stating that they did. Ultimately no apology or discount for potentially putting my wife on the road in a dangerous situation. read more

DANGER WARNING FRAUDULENT behavior!!! Wow, I can't help but shake my head. After I had my tire checked for air during the extreme cold at the Ferndale location. I was told that my rear tires needed to be replaced did the penny test they are better than adequate (inside and outperform tread). Then more concerning is the lugs we're left so loose 4 of them were able to be removed by hand easily. My tire started knocking and my husband checked them and he was appalled. The others were tight enough not to be taken off by hand, but not much better. We are lucky they didn't break and the tire cause a wreck on the freeway. Come to find out a friend of ours went there a month earlier and 3 lug nuts fell off in their driveway. Moral of the story they can not be trusted, drive a little further and go to a corporate owned Les Schwab that does their job cautiously or skip them all together and go to Firestone. read more

I called and made an appointment to get a tire rotation and my brakes done. I explained to the lady on the phone that the brake ware light was on and so I was transferred to a mechanic who then told me he thought they had the parts for my vehicle and if they didn't they would be able to get them the same day of appointment. He said they would get my brakes done at the appointment. Cut to the appointment. I am waiting for 2 hours to be told that this appointment was for a quote only and they couldn't do the brakes today as they were very busy. They did not even give me a quote AND when I checked the gauges on my car noticed in those TWO hours that they had failed to even do the tire rotation. My suggestion to management would be to focus on quality over quantity. This was such a failure of scheduling and communication on their part. I will NEVER go back to Les Schwab. read more

I stopped in this morning because my car was telling me there was a problem with the left rear tire. I suspected a slow leak because we'd already filled the tire earlier in the same week. Sure enough, there was a screw in the tire. Justin fixed the tire and had me on my way in under a half hour. He didn't charge me for it, and I asked him if he was sure, but he didn't want any money. They were honest about wait times and they were able to get my car done in the time they told me it would take. Throughout my time in the waiting room I saw nothing but fantastic customer service to those around me. The phones were ringing alot and at least one employee would run in from the shop to the phone to make sure the customer on the phone was attended to. I've been too this location four times. First time: Was ok. Then things got worse. Second time: the Manger brow beat me, and was strait rude that I brought in wheels and tire that I did not buy from them.(even tho I brought business to them) Third time: Same thing. (You would think they would be happy with my quick $350) Nope. But they did do the mount and balance. Four time: The Manger walked out to the parking lot, look at me and told me to "get my Internet crap out of there". Wow! Went here a few months ago to get an alignment after buying four brand new tires from them. The alignment was not done correctly. My car continued to pull in the direction I had told them in the beginning. I went back in and told them that it still pulls and the manager said that they would do a check on it for free. I made an appointment and came back a few days later and they said that it would be a certain amount to do the alignment. I showed them the paperwork and how they weren't going to charge me again and they fought me on the price. I finally told them that I would go somewhere else and would not return. Meanwhile next too me, another lady is having the same issue as I did. I definitely recommend going to a smaller local business - they are usually way nicer and way more willing to make the service right. read more

Don't let them do anything except maybe sell you some name brand tires. I made the mistake of having them do a brake job on my Nissan Murano at about 60k miles. They claimed I needed new calipers, which it turned out I did not, and they failed, locked up and got very hot, so I had them replaced at the Nissan Dealer in Bellingham, since it smelled like my car was burning up and I was close to the shop at the time.The calipers were only halfway through the warranty from Schwab,(Schmuck), and they would not refund anything because I did not save the defective parts. Really? What if this had happened in a remote Schmuck's tire place in Spokane or Boise? Should a person have to cart around the defective parts back to the original shop? Their warranty is not worth using as TOILET PAPER! We are talking about a $700 brake and caliper job! I will NEVER trust any of their shops for repairs. read more

My first and last experience at this location was forgetful. Customer Service: I went into the store already knowing which: tires, wheels, and lift kit to purchase. The "manager" (younger guy) was asked (by me) to provide a quote. So, instead of supplying a quote he spent the next 30 minutes (yes, 30) with his back to me at their main counter space, looking for the wheels that I asked to be included in my quote. Or so I thought. After he was done flipping through what seemed like 100 paper back catalogs, he brought 4 or so back to the counter and proceeded to show me different wheels that "would look good on your truck". Ok? I let him give his recommendation ... and then I suggested that he just quote the wheels I had told him I was interested in within 30 seconds of being asked - "how can I help you?" by this guy, and to quit trying to talk me into purchasing different wheels. He immediately became offended and behind a dirty look says "I'm not trying to talk you into purchasing a different wheel" . Again, ok? How bout that quote? Long story short: quote ends up being about 30% higher than what I had priced out (buying the wheels, tires, and lift directly from the suppliers myself). I asked if I could purchase the wheels, tires, and lift on my own and have them shipped to the store to save costs, but still have them do the install. His response - "I'll deny it". Ok? Why? "Because we warranty that stuff ( me thinking: how do you warranty all of other companies parts in the first place?) and we have to buy it". Even if I purchase all of it right here, right now, and you witness it? "Yup, denied". So, we would be purchasing the same parts, from the same supplier, getting them shipped to the same place, and you will still "deny it"? "Yup". If you like getting the run around and being lied to, go here. BTW: every other tire shop in town will allow you to purchase your own parts and have them do the install, even the other Les's in the area. read more

well, I have taken my trucks here a lot of times, and i had poor experiences every time. The last time i went in there i told them that i needed an alignment and i wasted an entire day waiting only to find out upon returning that they didnt align it. They told me my CV's were blown and that i needed to pay 500$ to have the entire axle replaced on each side. I assured the guy the axle was fine and that it was just the boot. He treated me like i didnt know anything and i told him the axles were fine (they still are to this day) another time i went in there, paid for an alignment on another vehicle. Later that day i was driving down the freeway and the steering wheel/front end began violently shaking. Another huge waste of time because i had to spend more time going back to there to get the matter sorted out. All they try and do is tell people that certain parts are worn and need to be replaced when in fact the parts are fine. I really feel for all of the people they have ripped off who are not mechanically inclined about their vehicle. long story short go to one of the Les Schwab locations in Bellingham. The guys here just try and jerk you around. read more

I had the worst service at this Les Schwab. They promised that the tire was on sale for 15$ off, but then charged me the full price. When I looked up the 150$ tire they sold me later, it was overpriced by about 45$. Furthermore, the tire was specifically made for Les Schwab and was not considered the "high quality" tire that Mr. Schwab was insisting. I had a flat tire, and Schwab had me in a corner, but I will never go back to Les Schwab again. Their tires are incredibly overpriced, and they are dishonest. read more

Friendly people. Upfront and honest. I think they get a little bit picky about what "needs" to be done, but they are here to make money. Need to use some common sense when authorizing work to be done. Some easy things can be done cheaper somewhere else but it's not going to be as guaranteed as this place. Fast, friendly service! On our way from the North Cascades, the tire indicator showed low tire pressure from just one tire. Upon further inspection, we found a screw in the tire. So we located the tire center and asked if they could fix the tire. Of course they said yes and that the wait would be about one hour. The service was done in 45 minutes or less and there was no charge! After reading some of the reviews online, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and of course the price. read more

Any time got a flat tire or battery check, got it done free and used to get tires or battery from Walmart or Costco. Felt ashamed and got tires from Les Schwab. Hit a big metal plate on I-5 and got a tire damaged. Les Schwab replaced the tire free (new tire) within hour and a half. Thanks a lot Guys. read more

I can not stress enough the horrible customer service I received at this particular location. Improvements need to be made on time frame given to service your vehicle. When I was checking the air in the tires of my mom's car I noticed that she had three different tires on her car so I asked her where were the tires that I had purchased for her in Las Vegas a day before we drove back to her home in Ferndale over a year ago. She said that she had a flat so she and a friend took her car into Les Schwab in Ferndale and that they had repaired her tire. Well, it was a few months later when she visited me in Seattle that while checking air pressure that I noticed the mismatched tires. Not only were they mismatched but the two tires that they had replaced the newer tires were almost worn out and of different tread designs. I showed them to my mom and she became quite angry that an employee of Les Schwabs would steal two new tires with less that a thousand miles on them and replace them with old worn out tires. Myself, I've always been treated well at the Les Schwab in Seattle at different locations. I find this quite alarming that an elderly woman was taken advantage of just trying to get a flat repaired. Not only that but her real estate agent had brought in his Cadillac to get a flat repaired and he also had a pair of new tires replaced by old worn tires. It's sad that an employee of such a good business would do this kind of thing and was able to get away with stealing client's tires. read more
