Brought a Company car in that hadn't been serviced in some time. While reaching Bellingham area I became tired of the service messages on dash. This business was open and available for a quick oil switch. While they couldn't reach the filters for inspection or possible replacement, the basic service was fast and efficient. Everything is done while waiting in car so don't expect access to waiting room at this time. If ever in area on another emergency, I'd pull up here again. read more

My husband and I have been coming to this location exclusively for the last 4-5 years. We get our oil change and tires rotated at this specific location and always had a great experience. We did however had one unpleasant experience but when I brought it up to Jiffy Lube they quickly and actively rectified the situation with an immediate phone call. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I went in three weeks ago for an oil change and the crew forgot to properly reattach the kickplate on the bottom of my car. It came loose on the highway on the way home, making my vehicle a danger to other cars, making a terrible noise, destroying the kickplate, and scaring me. I had to stop at a local place in a downpour and have them remove the one remaining bolt on the kickplate so I could drive home. NO COMMUNICATION FROM THAT LOCATION despite multiple emails with corporate customer service. AVOID THIS LOCATION. And maybe avoid Jiffy Lube altogether for the time being. read more

I came on a Saturday at 3 PM and really enjoyed the crew working here. They were friendly and having a good time as well as respectable and informative. I got an oil change at another place and they didn't put the engine cover back on correctly after my oil change, causing the bottom to scrape over every rock or speed bump. I went into jiffy lube hoping they could help me fix it and they not only corrected it, but also explained to me the process moving forward so I could be a more informed customer the next time. On a very cold and blustery day I drove in for an oil change and found the freezing staff to be outstandingly friendly and efficient as though it were a tropical day in Hawaii! I really respect their honesty when they told me I wasn't due for an oil change for another 6,000 miles. I like to change my oil once a year even though my car's low mileage use indicates I do not need one. The staff went above and beyond to explain the latest in oil ingredients and why I needn't change it even as little as once a year with my minimal usage. I truly respect anyone who does business in such a respectful manner and wasn't just out to make another sale! Kudos to this business who I will remain loyal to. Went in for a simple oil change. Cody M. was helpful and quick to service my vehicle, however the rest of the staff were irritable and lacked customer service. Pricing was a bit on the high end for what you get, and I expect to pay a bit more for a full synthetic oil, but I just wish the experience was a bit more customer friendly. Went in to get the battery on my car checked out and the oil changed, light was on (for the battery, and we went to get it checked right away) and we just wanted to see if the battery was safe to keep driving with, the very next day we break down in the middle of traffic. Just about everything gives me anxiety even grocery shopping and ESPECIALLY car service. It's 85% of the reason my shitty ex boyfriend lasted so long - cause he took care of it for me. With COVID right now, my anxiety is exponentially worse so the fact that I left Jiffy Lube last weekend smiling is a dream come true. I managed to find the one thing you could do wrong and completely miss the big red letters that clearly state NOT to leave your car and walked right into the garage. Despite this broken protocol on my behalf, nobody berated me and even though I felt like a jackass they assured me I was forgiven. From there, it was so easy. I sat in my car while my filter was replaced, wipers replaced, tires were filled, and my oil was changed - all things I've been putting off for an embarrassingly long time. At no point did I feel any pressure to buy more or feel stupid for not knowing anything about anything and they even suggested I park there while going to Pure Bliss next door to eat the rest of my unresolved feelings. Weirdest interaction I've had at a jiffy lube. They didn't tell me what I was being charged for until I asked for a detailed break down. Normally they'd go over what the cost wood be and what is included but they just gave me a number to pay. Awkward all around. I have now been to every Jiffy Lube in Bellingham, and can attest that this Cornwall location offers a premium level of customer service. Really impressed with the friendly, polite (and chivalrous!) guys here. From the moment I drove up, they made me feel welcome. Oil change was ultra fast, and I appreciated their no-pressure style when discussing additional services. While I was waiting in the lobby, a man came in and asked a favor of the technicians. His car battery had died about a mile away, and he wondered if Jiffy Lube could provide a jump start. The awesome crew was happy to oblige. One of them took off with the man. The remaining guys talked among themselves about how they liked helping the community like that. It honestly made my day better just encountering such a positive, considerate team! read more

It takes a lot for me to write any kind of review, but here we are as this particular location continues to disappoint. Recently they forgot to put the screws back on the splash guard underneath my car, and a week later, it partially fell off. I went back, to ask for help with the issue - got nothing but dismissiveness and reluctance from the JL bro. Fool on me for going back, as I have had other issues in the past - such as performing the checklist of services they said they would do (tire pressure check, fluid top off etc.), but due to the convenience of the location I found my self back there. My Wife brought her Jeep in for a Signature Service oil change. After 1 hour and 45 minutes they charged her $75 Now on the itemized bill there was a $50 charge for a non taxed item. When my Wife asked what that was all about the worker said "My bad" and took it off. My Wife is a police officer with a Masters in Psychology and can gauge body language and people very well. In her opinion that $50 was going straight in his pocket. I'm sure there will be an " I'm shocked" reply from my post and that's fine, but the owner/manager who reply's should remember one bad apple can ruin the bunch. I'm not saying don't visit this establishment just pay attention to your final bill and don't be shy or afraid of questioning your bill. read more

I should start with a disclaimer: Years ago, I bought my first CTS, and having always gone to local shops for oil changes prior, that's just what I did with my new car. Unfortunately, that ended with a horrible experience which taught me that sadly, local shops typically do not have the proper tools to service this particular kind of car. At least, that's what the dealer told me! Enter Jiffy Lube on Cornwall. My oil change was rather overdue, my last few experiences weren't great at the dealer, and they were booked out a ways anyways. It was suggested I check out Jiffy Lube, so I called ahead to make sure they could do my car. Alexey (sp?) took the call. Not having the answer (for an admittedly likely off-the-wall query,) he passed the phone to his manager Alan, to make sure I got an informed answer. No problem, Alan advised. So to Jiffy Lube I went! Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and professionally. They whisked me to the waiting room, and within moments they had my car on the rack, mileage into the computer, were already going to work, and had me at the computer to select my options. Alan and his team encountered difficulties with the drain plug, and the filter housing due to the dealer's over-zealous technicians and/or their overpowered machinery. They kept me informed all along the way, detailing what they found, advising the causes, and indicating their next steps. Of course they were successful, and defeated the over-torqued housing and drain plug. Alan, having found cause for concern with the threads of the over torqued drain plug, made certain I was fully informed of the metal shavings he found impacted within the threads, and the amount of oil found caught by the skid plate that had been leaking through the plug, unbeknownst to me. They quite helpfully took photos and shared them with me, should any issues arise from what they had found. Before I knew it, they were done! While checking out, they accepted a competitors coupon with no fuss, and happily price-matched. While going through all the work performed, Alexey mentioned he had of course, checked the air pressure in my tires. I kicked myself, as I had just adjusted it purposefully outside the recommended PSI, in hopes of greater gas mileage. I asked if they adjusted it, because of what I had done prior. Of course, they had dutifully adjusted it to the proper PSI. Alexey immediately offered to readjust the PSI, but I made clear they needn't bother, it was my fault for not having mentioned it. I continued to chat with Alan for a moment, and left for home. Out of curiosity, I checked the car's computer to see where the PSI had landed after being readjusted. To my surprise, the pressure was back at the PSI I had put it at prior to my visit! I can only surmise that Alexey quite stealthily ran out while Alan and I were chatting, and put the tire pressure back to where I had placed it. Not only did Alan and his team renew my faith in the ability of local shops to take care of my car, but their warm, friendly, and accommodating service was refreshingly and appreciatively received. I have to mention also, that Alexey's knowledge of his service offerings, the company, products, and options was impressive as well! I highly recommend this Jiffy Lube location. They didn't know the difference between a check engine light and a maintenance required light that was on in my car (why I was getting my oil changed). They didn't turn the maintenance light off either after the oil change. I called them about it and they told me I could come back in, however the customer service was not great beforehand and I decided against going back in. Wound up going to Northwest Honda when I noticed my oil leaking a week later after the oil change, turns out they put the wrong filter in. read more

Just left here and was so impressed that I am writing this right away. I was the only car there so this may have influenced the service time. Was escorted from my car to the waiting room and told to wait while they assessed what my Prius needed. I was shown the types of oil that are needed for my warranty. While this was happening I watched as four people were vacuuming the car and washing my windows inside and out in a frenzy. I was told the the oil filter was still good (not sure how they knew that...) but the cabin air filter was not. They showed me the filter and replaced it at my request. They also matched the discount price I had from the dealer. The dealer had a one week wait for an appointment. The whole process took twenty minutes at most. I was then escorted back to the car and the door opened for me. I've been taking my cars for oil changes for more than 40yrs and I have to say that this was a unique experience. Very impressed. If you do have to wait, take the opportunity to head south on Cornwall about 100' to the chocolate store with the best gelato I have ever had. read more

Went to Jiffy Lube to get an oil change on my Acura on a Friday night as I was catching a ferry early the next morning. Next day, went to load up the car, oil had leaked all over a new brick driveway. Took it back to them- they said that it was a "faulty oil filter" although another said that the oil filter was not screwed on correctly. Tried to get in touch with the manager to get resolution on cost of cleaning the bricks (to no success)-- and have had no communication from anyone there. Have tried all sorts of different methods to try and get the huge oil slick off my brick driveway but no success. Looks like I will be replacing bricks and taking them to Small claims Court to get reimbursement. Never again!! 9/9/13-- an update-- and my apology. This was posted to the wrong location. The location was the one at the corner of Hannigan and Bakerview, Bellingham. Apologies to the guys at Cornwall (who incidentally were concerned enough to call me and offer to go and view the situation. Sounds like I will be heading to Cornwall in future~) 10/14/13-- STILL trying to get this problem rectified. Seems to me like the only way to deal with this company is to fix it yourself and sue them in Small Claims Court. Admittedly Jeremiah (mgr. at Cornwall) did make a couple of attempts to sort the problem out but when there was no result (oil stain still there) phone calls go unanswered.... If you want something done right, do it yourself and use the legal system to get reimbursed... Not a word EVER from the guy's at the Hannigan location! Never again for me.... read more

These guys were great! I had to take my sisters car in for an oil change, was able to drive right on into one of their 3 stalls. The guy who helped me asked what i was there for, scanned the barcode on the inside of my door to get the correct oil & filter information for the car. All and all took only about 15 minutes. By far the most convenient oil change i have ever had. Didn't have to get out of my car at all! Highly recommend these guys! read more

Brought my car in to get the tires rotated and oil changed, they managed to somehow break my spedometer and my rpm monitor. When i brought it back in (in under 5 mins) they called some random "mechanic" that i wasn't allowed to talk to and miraculously absolved they of all guilt. Shit service, I went in for a simple oil change, got back my checklist and receipt and headed home, once home I opened the hood of my truck and double checked the fluid levels. They checked off "full" for wiper fluid, in which there was none, they checked off "full" for power steering fluid, the cap was below the low line, and they told me they would top of my coolent level, it was the same as before. Absolutely appalled how shitty that was. Don't go here if care about your vehicle. read more
