I feel like it is my responsibility as a man to report something that happened on my birthday. I was taking my 3 daughters to stay with their mom's family for 5 days. They love it there and the family loves them big time. We meet in Moses Lake which is a 3 hour drive for me. My jeep was doing great till we literally hit the Moses Lake exit. I limped into McDonalds and exchanged the kiddos safely. There was a Les Schwab in the same parking lot. I went in and asked for help. They took all my wheels off. Found that a bolt broke off my break caliber and was hanging off. Went over to the Lowe's to get the bolt and washer. Fixed it. When I asked how much. They said no charge. Les Schwab is literally the coolest company. Especially the boys in Moses Lake. What a birthday gift. read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever at Les Schwab!!!! awful customer service!!!! You can tell the level of service has gone downhill.

I asked for a proper brake inspection and I got it. I had to pay but it was way worth it! I went to a different Les Schwab location (not going to say which one) but they told me it was warped rotors but they didn't actually check them so I didn't believe it. I went here and they said it was glazed and showed me an example for how they should look. They even told me how to properly adjust my rear drums myself since they could tell I worked on it. Other locations just throw me price quotes for fixing it and can't really say what's wrong with it or how it went bad. Service was above and beyond what I asked for! I am 100% going to keep coming to this one. read more

I purchased 3 trailer tires (kind of) in an emergency situation. Although they were very busy, the got me in and out in 2 hours (i think the manager stepped in and completed the job). These guys were reasonably priced, timely, and saved my bacon (4 hours from home). They offered to get the remaining two tires from another store if i wanted to wait, in the end i opted not to do that, although i wished i had - another story. I was traveling east bound to Montana when the front tire on a tandem axle camper blew, shredded, and sent wire shreds from the steel belts into the trailing tire. After changing the tire with trucks & cars whizzing by while in the interstate (i was done before AAA could have got there), i guessed the other tires wouldn't hold. the trailer had sat for 9 months, and the tires passed visual inspection when i repacked the wheel bearings (something these guys will do for you too !!). they were 28 miles away, i called them for price and availability for tires. they said come in by. I had planned an overnight in Moses Lake but when I pulled into the motel, the ABS, uphill assist and 4wd lights went on. It was less than an hour to closing, but Jake came to the hotel to check the car and followed me to the shop. Someone volunteered to come in early to get me back on the road but the new part was defective. we thought we had it drivable, but before I could pull on to the highway the car stalled. I turned around and went back to the shop. Jake had someone like up a rental car and take me there for the transfer. He called me at my destination that they had finally found a working part and I was good to go. When I got back to Moses Lake they sent someone after me at the rental office and got me to my car. I had no further issues. In my opinion the shop went way beyond the call of duty to get my car functional. read more

I don't know what planet they live on to think charging $250 PER FRONT ROTOR for just the part was anywhere close to a honest price. I couldn't find a single auto parts store where The same rotor cost more than $100. On top of that I don't believe them when they said my 6 year old vehicles rotors "couldn't be re finished" and I had to replace them all together. They clearly take advantage of those who don't know how much average parts cost. You're better off buying your own parts online and going to any other shop and asking them to instal for you. read more

Less Schwab Tire Center is simply the best. The quality of their work and the service, in particular how hard their employees work, is remarkable. They stand behind their work and I have found that it is easy to access additional service such as rotation of tires, and alignments, and flat repairs at any Les Schwab anywhere in the Northwest. Buy tires in Spokane, rotate them in Moses Lake, and have a flat repair in Seattle. My experience over the years of using less Schwab has always been positive. It's one of the few places were the good all days of service and value still seem to be the case. And, if you didn't know, Les Schwab Tire centers were founded in the small town of Prineville, Oregon, a local company. I just had my brakes done last week the price was fair and the service as always was excellent. If you have not tried Les Schwab I recommend that you do. read more

I brought my truck in for new tires. My truck never had its tires changed before. After Les Schwab was done changing my tires every rim was badly damaged. Brought it to the attention of the supervisor in shift and was told they would do nothing to make things better. I will never go to this place or recommend to anyone. Our travel trailer, we thought, had a bearing going out. We called Les Schwab and they took care of us from that very moment!!! Turns out, three of our four tires were almost blowout and a leaf spring had broken and needed to be replaced. They let us leave our trailer overnight (and we plugged into power to keep the trailer fridge cold) while awaiting the delivery of the leaf spring. The next morning, four new tires, repacked bearings, brakes checked, and leaf spring replaced. Dennis and Kory took care of us the entire way! Horrible service. Dropped tires off to get new ones put on. Said they would be in the next day. Called the next day to see if they were done and they said they had no name or order for them. If we still wanted them, it would be a week before they would be in. Will be getting the tires elsewhere. read more

In the process of traveling from western Washington to MN I had stopped at a McDonalds to take a rest break and grab a cup of iced tea and upon returning to the car find a completely flat tire. There was an adjacent gas station that had air so I was able to reinflate the tire but I could hear air leaking out. This was a major leak. I headed into Moses Lake to find some help, stopping at a Honda dealership who wasn't able to help but did top off the air in the tire and pointed me to Les Schwab. I made it to the tire center in spite of the ridiculously long red light. But of course the tire was flat again. I hand over the keys and in about 10 minutes the service guy comes by to tell me that the tire with the flat has tread separation and the others were getting pretty worn down so I would need to replace all four (I had been putting off the next tire change with all the driving of late) so I gave the go ahead to replace all four. From rolling onto their lot to leaving was about 45 minutes so I was happy that service was so quick. Service was polite and friendly and I would definitely return if I needed tires in the area. read more

I received what I was looking for, one of my TPMS sensors went bad on me and I needed a replacement, no big deal. I figured since my car was on the lift, I'll rotate the tires for good measure. Guy comes out and tells me I need some new parts because the front end has play and my tires aren't wearing evenly blah blah. Problem for him, I know my car and I spotted that bullshit right away. I walked out into the bay and looked at it myself then pressed him, then he tells me it's "recommended", initially he slapped that quote in front of me like all those parts had failed, thinking I'd be a dumbass and just have em do it. I didn't appreciate the up-sell. I noticed the same ruse about the same parts and the same problem with at least two other customers while I was there. Yesterday while driving my Low tire pressure light went on. I headed over to Les Schwab to ask if they could check the pressure and add air to them. They did it, no problem, and I didn't have to pay anything, and my tires aren't even from les schwab tires! I was very impressed and happy, they now have a new customer! I will be going to them for all my tire needs! :) read more

TLDR: They kept me from being stranded in Moses Lake - on a holiday weekend at closing time. So I live in Seattle and was heading to Missoula, MT for the 4th of July weekend. I drove to work that morning in usual traffic and never over 65 tops ...because Seattle. Get off work at 2 PM, pay my parking, and head out. From where I work it's basically a direct drop onto I-90 and traffic is heavy but moving well. I settle in for a ride. Hit the top of Snoqualmie and cruising along about 65/70 mph when suddenly I hear this loud - floamp - floamp - floamp - floamp - noise coming from my car. No tire lights, no service lights, no pulling, no bouncing...nothing but this really loud noise. Now everyone knows Snoqualmie is forever under construction so of course even the parts that aren't currently being worked on can still have very little shoulder. I see a space on the shoulder coming up so I hurry up and pull off - then back my car into nook between barriers to get it a bit further off the road. I check everything I can think of and can't figure it out. Call Dad. Dad answers and says I probably pulled over a curb too far and broke the air dam. No big deal and keep on rolling until I get to Ellensburg where I can deal with it. Thinking he was probably right, I decide to press on to Ellensburg where I can hopefully find a shop or at least confirm/tape/turnaround/whatever. Get to Ellensburg.... Throw on my pretty pink fishing gloves that I happened to have with me, crawl onto the lava tempered pavement, and look under the car...and BOY did I discover the problem. Courtesy of a giant pothole on Hwy 12, the bottom skid plate of my car has a 1 ft x 1ft section punctured out of passenger side. The air would catch the piece then was causing the noise as it pulled at the plastic plate. Since I never drive my car for extended periods of time over 60 (normally I use public transport) it had started to loosen with the drive. I pull at the piece and it seems fairly secure still so I figure, ok no big deal I'll tape it or something tonight when I get into Spokane. About 20 miles outside Moses Lake - listening to the - floamp - floamp - floamp - floamp noise the whole way and going much slower than any human should ever have to drive through there, I suddenly hear a POP! Tink...tink..tink.tink.... I suddenly realize that the plastic pieces that hold the plate on are starting to pop out. Now all I can picture is some poor motorcyclist getting decapitated by my flying car part. I call my fiancee, let him know I'm stopping in Moses Lake to tape it up and start threatening to trade the damn thing in when I get to Spokane. I mean who makes cars out of plastic....surely not everyone right? Meanwhile my dad calls back. In a urgent voice he proceeds to tell me that I need to get it secured right away and to find a shop in Moses Lake because in my car that piece doubles as the divider that pushes the air into my radiator and keeps my car from overheating... Based on this new information I decide that as much fun as overheating my car in 90 degree weather in Eastern Washington is, especially after decapitating a motorcyclist or two, perhaps that would damper my trip so maybe I should stop. J/K - I was totally stressed out and it is now 5:45 PM on a holiday weekend when I pull into Moses Lake. Dad recommends I call Walmart Tire Center. I call them and the guy doesn't sound too promising about being able to help me. So now facing the potential of having to spend the holiday weekend in Moses Lake I google few other options and find that Les Schwab is still open until 6 and it's 7 minutes away. Call them explain the situation and the woman who answers tells me to bring it right over but they close at 6 so hurry. I'm already en route. I pull up to Les Schwab and totally misunderstand what bay the guy at the counter said to pull my car into. Pull the car into the bay, and two very confused young men who were probably really ready to go home asked me what they could do for me. I explain the whole mess and that I'm just trying to either get home to Seattle or to Spokane. They say they will look at it, take the keys and move it to the other bay. I run to the ladies room, remind myself to breathe, come back out, sit down for a few minutes and they come back with the car. The guy hands me my keys and says - you're good to go and starts to walk off. I'm like wait do I owe you anything? He smiles and says "Nope!". Surprised I look at the cashier lady and she's like - you're good - go. So following him out I ask him what did you do? He turns to me mid-step with an ever confident, smile and proudly states "I zip-tied it, it's not going anywhere." I thank him and he walks off before I think to tip him. Simply terrible service. The man lied to my face, implying that it was against the law to sell more than one tire. (I checked: it's not.) Because of their poor attitude, this business lost almost $1,000 of my business today. Perfection Tire, just down the road, gave us MUCH better service, and ended up earning all our business. We weren't able to find my warranty on file and David was still able to help me, he was really great and did his best to fix it as quickly as possible and made sure we were back out on the road. Every time I go here they find something "extra" wrong with my car. Probably thinking I'm a stupid woman. My dad just replaced my rotors and brakes and they want me to get new ones and even tell me my car can't leave until it's "safe". like I just came in here for a roation and balance don't tell me my car sucks. I just had that stuff replaced. Nice try but you're not getting extra money out of me. Came in a with a flat once, they said it was unrepairable. I go to a little hole in the wall shop across from Safeway and they repaired it for me for 10$. Said it wasn't even that bad. Thanks Les Schwab. read more

My fiance has a commercial account for his trucking company so we spend a ridiculous amount of time and money here :p I've been in this location several times and never been displeased with the service or tires. I previously bought tires from Les Schwab and went in to get my tires rotated at the Moses Lake location per their service guarantee as I regularly have done. The manager refused to do the work and lied saying my tires were too worn to do the work saying I needed to buy tires. When I told him I didn't believe him knowing how few miles were on them. He cussed at me and told me I would never get service there. He looked like he was on steroids. I went down the street to Perfection Tire. They rotated my tires and said I had 60% tread left and would not need new tires for a while. read more

So I go in for a flat repair... Tell me it's not repairable, no worries, I buy 4 tires cause I was looking anyway and they had a good sale on Toyo's. Brings me a quote for all new front brakes including calipers, rotors, pads, and labor. I asked why since I just did rotors and pads a few months ago. The employee couldn't even tell me why I needed them. I said no thanks, I'll do it myself. While waiting, a tech comes in to talk to another employee that works up front, tells him this lady's vehicles brakes look brand new and he can't find anything wrong with them. He asked the tech how close to bonus was he, tech said "right there", next thing you know, the owner of the vehicle is back and they tell her her brakes are really bad and needs to replace everything. She had them call her husband and he said no cause everything on the front end was replaced within the last few months. Really shady practice to make money. read more

Here's my Les Schwab story! Moses Lake. Stopped in to get my daughters tires rotated, told us that one of the tires had a bulge, cool bought the tires from Les Schwab, and one of his slogan's was "If we can't guarantee it, we won't sell it." I thought we were in good hands. Well to our surprise we were not, the asst. manager said the tire wasn't covered by warranty. But he would sell us a replacement tire for $120. So I asked him if losing my business and my Daughters business was worth $120? He said that was the best he could do. I called the Les Schwab customer service line on the spot, and they told me that what ever the manager on duty decided was what they were sticking to as well. So I'm trying to keep a long story short, and not rant, because Les schwab is not the only tire dealer in town and have lost my business and my families business. I tell this story to anyone who is talking about needing new tires. Thank you for doing the right thing since 1952 and earning my trust. read more

Service was somewhat friendly but not quick. Was waiting for more than an hour and my car was still sitting in the same spot. It wasn't until after 2 hours and 13 min when they finally pulled my car into the shop. It was a quiet atmosphere. Cost was more expensive but I sucked it up as my usual place is more than 45 min away. Saw other vehicles pulled in after me get their car worked on. Tables are dirty. I would have been more impressed had they informed me exactly what entails with the cost and not just a total and "I gave you the least expensive rim and least expensive tires" but the woman, Sara sounded like she was trying to be friendly but it did not come off natural. Well what can I say about a great place to buy tires ten years ago gone completely the opposite , I have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours of bragging about Les Schwab until I visit the Moses Lake store, I specifically ask for my tires to be balance using the Toyota manufacture Lug Centric plates when they balance my tires, the counter clerk even ask the guy next to her if they had the balancing lug plate, he said yes, so .... This is where they have terrible communication problems and not being honest, truck went in, I met the tech and ask if he was balancing them with the lug centric tool, and he said no, that he had already done one using the hub, and that they don't have the lug centric tool!!!!! This is where I said what? , wasted not only money but time!!! Since the tires are still not balanced..... This branch is not a honest branch, especially when they said they had the tool!!! I will never use les Schwab again. read more
