Called at 5:56pm & they closed at 6pm. Spoke with Ken about a blown tire on an rv. Mentioned we couldn't stay over night had to be 900 miles away by tomorrow for grandparents day at school. Came in at 10am while my daughter was having a check up for pregnancy. It was busy and was told 3 hours to get new tires on her car. I've been here 5 hours now. Still not done and for the past hour there has not been more than 3 people who have all come in and had oil changes and left. I can't cancel because the tires have been off the vehicle for almost 2 hours with nobody working on it. Every 30 minutes they say they are almost done. We have two hours to drive to get her back home tonight. really wish I wouldn't have picked this place. I was trying to do a nice thing for my daughter. Would not recommend read more

These guys were great!! We were traveling across country and stopped in North platt for the night. We woke up to a low pressure warning on one of our tires. I am very disappointed in this place, I called and set appointment because my check engine came on in my car. I had the code I knew the code was for my transmission I asked them to see if they could work on my transmission after I gave them my vin number and code they told me they could. Well they couldn't and charged me 25$ to run a code that was already ran because my car reads its own codes and I have a code reader in my car. Will not do business with them again. read more

Our clutch went out on the way home from Omaha to Fort Collins, CO and we happened to break down a few doors down from Modern Tire Pros. Shay (don't kill me if I spell the names wrong) walked over to us and checked out the car and gave us his guesstimate of what was wrong. He managed to get it to drive for a second and got it over to their garage. Shay explained the problem in a way we could understand and did the job really thoroughly and professionally. MTP was also one of the few places that could get us in the same day and get us done and taken care of by the next afternoon. When our crappy Motel 6 kicked us out they allowed us to hang out in the lobby with our two killer chihuahuas. Adora (again my bad on the name spelling) at the front desk was also accommodating. All the staff was great! We had to wait for a tire on our 5th wheel to get repaired. We could hear the ladies at the desk helping customers and they where both very friendly and knowledgeable. The store was pretty busy but that didn't seem to effect how they helped their customers. read more

do not go here! save yourself the hassle and the money. i took my bmw to get a oil change every thing was fine. so i let them do my back brakes, rotors, alignment two days after leaving there i noticed my back brakes squeaking every time i brake mind you my vehicle has never squeaked. took it back up there and they tell me oh its your front brakes.. i go back up there the next day and bring they manager to come stand by my car to clearly hear that its the back brakes . they still haven't fixed it. i paid about 630.00 for every thing. i asked to speak to the owner they wont let me.. don't go here!!!! read more

I was extremely disappointed with the dishonest service we received from Modern Tire Pros last week. We took my Jeep in for some issues it's been having. Modern Tires Pros inspected it and gave me a long list of things that needed to be fixed and it came with a VERY large price tag. We decided to get a second opinion. We very quickly found out that Modern Tire Pros was wanting to replace a bunch of unnecessary parts. We've been customers of Modern Tire Pros for regular maintenance for awhile now but we won't be going back. I know this kind of thing isn't uncommon in the automotive industry but I thought Modern Tire Pros was a place we could trust, clearly not. read more

When we hit something with our vehicle late at night, slicing open the 2 tires on the driver's side, we were at a loss as to what to do. I checked the web for tire stores in the area. It appeared that these people had a good selection of tires in our size and an appointment for the following morning was confirmed immediately online. After being dropped off by a tow truck we found that they did not have any of the tires we were looking for in stock. The gal at the desk, Sam, saved the day. They did have 2 tires in stock in the size needed and upon request Sam called around for 2 more so we could have a set of 4. Then she went to pick them up for us, hence the better rating than I would have given based on the website alone. She was very helpful as were the technicians. They put them on right away for us, allowing us to get back on the road as quickly as possible. Thank you so much, Sam! read more

My buddy and I were driving cross country and got a flat tire. We were about 400 miles from our destination and desperately needed two new tires. We drove around for three hours visiting 5 different auto body and tire shops and left empty handed and muttering obscenities until we were recommended Modern Tire Pros as a shop which would likely have our apparently unpopular tire size. And by the grace of some rubber deity they had THREE new tires for a VERY reasonable price and put them on in less that 20 minutes. I would absolutely recommend this place to ANYONE local and from out of town. The icing on the cake was the fantastic customer service from the three ladies behind the counter. Stopped in from out of town requesting them to patch a tire. The guys said it didn't have anything wrong with it except the valve needed replaced. 24 hours later my tire was low again. Took it to my regular tire guy. There was an obvious nail in the tire. Valve had NOT been replaced. Car was out of alignment and the cords showing so Modern Tire clearly did nothing but fill my tire with air and charge me for false "repairs". They at least had the decency to refund my money after I called to complain. read more

On my way through Nebraska and my low tire light came on. The guy who filled my tire said it had a crack in the side from a curb rub. The guys at the tire store said I did not need a new tire as the tear was only through the first layer. Because I had a distance to drive I opted to replace the tire. Don't know why there are so many positive reviews. If anybody knew what went on to change oil in their cars, there would probably be multiple lawsuits. As a former employee, there was one time the shop was out of oil. What did the manager decide to do? Begin dumping Havoline 5w30, Quaker State 1030, Valvoline 1030 and even diesel 1540 in one singular tank which everyone then pumped into vehicles requiring 020, 520, 1030 and everything else. Something about that had to be illegal, but it didn't stop the manager or owner of the business. Rarely do the employees check air filters, serpentine belts or anything else worth mentioning. As for dually pickups, your tires will rarely ever be aired up. If your tire light isn't on, despite the fact the pressures still may be 15% low, they will leave them alone. Never mind the fact that oil is not completely drained out of any vehicle or if they are out of a synthetic oil filter, no matter, they just put on a cheap Mobil filter knowing that the majority of you all will never know the difference. I encourage everyone to look elsewhere unless you want absolutely despicable service. They may smile at you and treat you politely, but know that your car was treated like another cow being led off to slaughter. read more
