This store really live the customer first mentality that is vital for businesses today! Took my car in for a sensor issue and they plugged it in and said they would need me to take it to a dealership to fix the errors I was getting. I asked how much it cost and the gentleman said, "I honestly couldn't charge you for the little work I did to diagnose the error. Just remember us next time you need tires!" He could have charge me $200 just to tell me he couldn't fix it, this kind act will make me a customer for life. I know they aren't the cheapest but they truly are the best, and you get what you pay for! read more

I went in with an idea that I might need new brakes. Turned out it was a good hunch! The staff there was incredibly friendly. They were honest. I felt like they really took good care of me and my car. They explained everything they found and how they could fix it. Including needing to get a few parts in first thing in the morning. I went in a half an hour before they closed on a Thursday, was given a ride home and a ride back and had my car completely finished by 10:00 Friday morning!! What a great experience. In December i ran over a truck strap on road that took out a front tire on our large Chevy. When we brought it into center they said a rear tire also had a nail in it. We bought a 2 used tires. Mid January my wife had another rear left slow leak and brought it in for that. They replaced rear right tire with a used tire. 2 weeks later we had another slow leak in rear left tire. We live in a pretty secluded area and aren't around any construction regularly. I'm not saying there was foul play but it was odd every slow leak involved a screw. read more

Was told over the phone that 2 studded tires are allowable on a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE compact car. Which is all I've ever ran on this little car. I love Les Schwab Tire Centers! I noticed that the front driver's tire was a tad low, so I had the hubby use some cool tool that he received from my dad, but the next morning that tire was low again and the dashboard was complaining about a tire too. No worries. We zipped into this Les Schwab, and you gotta love how they hustle. The workers must not be allowed to walk anywhere. It's run, run, jog, hustle, hustle. I had just started getting out my latest book, when our guy ran back in and said it was done that we'd picked up a screw, and he'd be pulling the vehicle out and we could leave! WOW. Such great service. I knew that I should have grabbed some of that free popcorn and coffee earlier! Of course, since the tires were originally purchased at a Les Schwab (not this particular location though, but that doesn't matter), this was a free service. I'm sure that I'll be back when I need snow tires next winter. read more

I WAS a loyal Les Schwab customer for 30+ plus years but after this last experience we are calling it quits. There are so many issues but I'll stick to the biggies. First and foremost, they take unfair advantage of female customers. Even when a female goes in with a *specific* tire request she still walks out at almost double the price. It's a bad business model and we can no longer support it. Poor Les must be rolling in his grave to see what his company has become. If it was provable as a pattern it would be worth pursuing a remedy. Though they violate any ethical standard, they're smart enough to keep it only just within the law. They're not interested in selling what the customer wants rather they sell what the company wants the customer to buy. It's shameful. It was a good run but there are too many other truly local choices with similar products, better prices, and better (more trustworthy) service to have to endure this. read more

I switched over to Les Schwab for my tires about 8 years ago, have experienced much better service than other companies. I've gone to a number of locations over those years, but this is by far my favorite. Rachel has been a huge help, she is extremely knowledgeable. She's helped me find the best solution on a number of visits. I've read the other reviews, addressing them: They do have a TV, and a large assortment of magazines, plenty of comfortable chairs, some in a quieter part of the store if you wanted to read, as well as coffee and popcorn. It does seem to be a busy location, so probably best to make an appointment or drop off for later pickup. They also work plenty fast enough, in the showroom as well as in the bays. read more

I came in at 10am on a Monday morning after we had gotten around 2 in of snow at my house. Every other tire shop was already full for the day. They said they were super full but we could drop it off and it would be done later that night, they were super helpful. My request was kind of difficult to understand because I wanted to get the new tires on my snow rim that were the ones that weren't on the car, I showed up and they had put the new tires on the wrong rims. I asked them if they could fix it they said it may take an hour because they were super busy still. They had it done in about a half hour and were super helpful. Helped unload the second set of rims and load. read more

Usually like these people but had a bad experience again. Please don't exaggerate the wait time. I brought my truck in for a new battery and was told it would be an hour. Waited two and was told I was next in line. I could have made different plans had I known. Went to tire-Rama and was out in 30minutes and saved 10 bucks. read more

It feels wrong after so many years of being a Les Schwab customer - to say my experience at this location was "so so". Have gone in a few times now since its closer to my home but...the service is average. The people know what they're doing. But frankly, every other Les Schwab I've shopped at for the past 20 years - is AMAZING. For example, they run to greet you, they go out of their way to show you that they're amazing and want your business. This place seems like they could care less if you come back, and sadly, its seems that they could care less that I chose to do business with them. I was not delighted with how they've treated my 2 new teenage drivers either. My husband and I LOVE Les Schwab, but not this location... we've decided to make the drive out to the Airway Heights location - they are Les-Schwab-Amazing and make every customer feel special. I know its "just tires"... but not many places any more make customers feel as special as Les Schwab does, and its worth the drive - the company has won our loyalty, but not this location. read more

Brought in my Fiat with new snow tires that I had ordered from online. Dropped it off and then realized I had not asked the price so on the way home I called, they said $100.15. I had also told her that they were new tires from online. Then they call me 2 hours later to ask me which car is mine because they didn't actually put me in the system that morning, I guess? So then they call me 30 minutes later to tell me that because the tires are new it will actually be $152. I was in the middle of work and put on the spot so agreed to pay, because I needed the car by the end of the day and it had already been sitting there doing nothing for 2.5 hours. When I came to pick it up and asked for clarification on why new tires cost more she said "because they check all the sensors." Which I feel is something they do for all tires? So it's still very unclear to me why the price changed 2.5 hours after I dropped it off. I had originally planned to go to Firestone who gave me an $80 quote but Les Schwab is closer so I figured for $20 more it wasn't a big deal, if I had known it would be double the price I would have never gone to Les Schwab. I feel completely screwed. Will not be returning again. read more

I like how they move quickly in and out of the showroom floor but noticed they tend to joke around and slow to a snails pace once they think they're out of view of the customers. I like when people have fun in the work place but c'mon. Once I complained to the manager he got them moving again but it was too little too late by then. I'll go back to this store. Darrell knows this business and found the right combination for a 2017 mini-cooper regarding snow wheels and tires plus this vehicle has large brake calipers so they took it right in and swapped out one wheel to make certain they would fit. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes took home the printed quote to decide the choice. I called with a go ahead decision and was told by Cody they would proceed with mounting the tires 1st thing today and call when they were ready to be bolted on. I called Les Schwab to find out how much brakes would be on my SUV on 3-16-2020. Rachel answered the phone and after I gave her all the details, she stated that she would have to call around to find out what it will cost. Then I received a call back from Rachel that Les Schwab needs to see the Suv to make sure they order the right parts. I took the vehicle there and was told by Rachel that there is a car on the rack having an alignment done and that mine would be up next. I sat down and saw the car that was having an alignment being pulled out not even five minutes later. Then I saw my suv being pulled in. Shortly after, I saw Mike walk across the parking lot and leave the company grounds. after about 20 minutes I saw Mike walk back onto the company grounds. I sat in the lobby for one hour. I went to the counter and asked Rachel how long does it take for a brake inspection. She stated that it's about 30 minutes. Well at this point it had been over an hour. She then began making excuse after excuse as to why it was taking so long. I asked if she would go and find out how much longer it was going to take. She walked to shop and and talked with Mike. She walked back into the showroom/waiting room and walked right by me and said NOTHING to me. At this point I was NOT HAPPY. She had the nerve to walk by me but not address the question that I asked her? About fifteen minutes later Mike walks in and tells me he is not done with the quote and that he needs more time to get all the information. That's fine if you need more time then the hour and fifteen minutes I just gave the company. Today (03-18-2020), two days later. I called and talked to Rachel. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated that she was the assistant manager. I then stated "does Les Schwab make to much money that Les Schwab doesn't need any more business?" Dead silence on the other end. To make this short Rachel started to talk over me and I quickly corrected her and told her that when a customer is having an issue, you shouldn't be trying to talk over them. Once I stated my point and asked a question Rachel then stated to me, "is it my time to answer? Let me know if I should now speak." Clearly this is NOT the behavior of someone that should be the assistant manager. I will NEVER go to Les Schwab again and will never refer my friends to this horrible place. The manager was completely rude and had the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. We took our car in for a car repair. We are not from here and chose this place based on location (didn't look at reviews first). The person at the front desk was mocking my husband while he was explaining where the problem tire was located. We just let that go. When we picked up the car, we asked to speak to the mechanic who worked on it because we had some questions. He was abrupt and borderline rude. Spoke with manager, Ezra, about problems mentioned here. He told me they have addressed and resolved these claims/concerns and invited me to give them a try. So we did. They gave us outstanding service (I did not tell him I was the one who had spoken with him on the phone). Heather (rep there) picked up the tires we needed on her lunch break so we could get them that same day! We went back with a brake problem and the mechanic thoroughly tested them, fully explained and showed me the problem, then gave recommendation that this issue could safety wait until we need new brakes, thus saving us much unnecessary expense. CONCLUSION: they were totally honest with me. They spent a lot of time explaining all options and addressing all concerns. And they went beyond the call of duty to earn our business. read more

Despite being a happy Les Schwab customer in the past, yesterday I was lied to about the condition of my tires, had a mysteriously missing valve cap when I got home, and they refused to repair or even air up the tire with a slow leak that I'd come in about. They said the cords were showing in the tires, but when I got home and did a thorough inspection I found that there was a stripe of mud, and no cords were showing on any tires (and the tread was still legal). The refusal to even air up the tire I'd come in about felt like an attempt to strand me there as they pressured me repeatedly about buying new tires. I lost my trust in Les Schwab and don't plan on coming back. read more

I had bought my tires here a while ago and they offer free rotation if you purchase through them. So I went and got my tires rotated and then about a month later my whole front and started wiggling and grinding. I took it to a shop that was close to my house and the guy told me that whoever had taken my tires off last didn't put them on correctly and had caused my rotors and my brake pads to completely brake. I called leschwab and Cody the assistant manager was more than helpful and reimburse me for the amount I paid to the other mechanic and fixed everything else that was damaged. It sucked that who ever rotated them couldn't do there job right. But I was verry satisfied with how Cody not only gave great costumer service but fixed what the shop had messed up. read more

I went here for a "free" brake inspection. I received an almost $500.00 bill nearly two hours of waiting later. They wanted to replace brake shoes, drums, rotors and calipers. The receptionist was a real snot too. I took my vehicle to my regular mechanic at KP Auto in the valley for a real estimate. I had Kent Peterson, the owner of KP Auto put new brakes on for $160.00 and a lifetime warranty. This place has also ripped me off in the past for a 4 wheel alignment for hundreds of dollars, only to discover my tires were out of balance and under warranty, fixed at no cost at Big O tires. Buyer beware!!! I thought Alton Tires was bad, but I have been told many times this place is the same...they are in the money making business via consumer prey! read more

It's an icy morning in Spokane and when the counter person saw this couple pull in, he excused himself from those waiting in line, went outside, opened the passenger door and held the lady's hand escorting by her into the store. I'm gonna say that I've usually enjoyed the service at les Schwab but this les Schwab is by far the worst I've been to. The front desk doesn't communicate with the back staff. I was told to pull up to the back and they would patch my tire. When getting to the back they seemed confused and asked me what I needed 3 times after explaining I just needed the tire patched the kid said 1 hr ok seems reasonable but he couldn't say if they could fix it or not seems a little long of a wait to look at it again and say nope can't fix it. The guy at the front desk seemed to want to hurry me away as he chomped his gum away smacking like a cow poor customer service all around and rude as well. After years of doing business at this location, something has difinetely changed for the worse. Just had my second experience in a year, where a family member takes a vehicle into this location for a routine service, and these guys try to sell several hundred dollars worth of repairs, that are unnecessary. Twice now, after double checking with a trusted mechanic, the recommended repairs were found to be unneeded. In my opinion, these guys are not trustworthy. Be very careful here. read more

I brought my car here in mid march because of problems with the right rear brake sticking evidenced by scraping and squealing at times and smelling hot when I stopped. I brought the car in and waited four hours to have the brake checked. When I described the issue to the young woman who was assisting me, she responded sarcastically as if from what I told her there could be nothing really wrong with my brake. I waited and was informed that everything was fine. I sprayed out the brake at a car wash and steam billowed up from the right rear brake as it was very hot. Before I could take it to my mechanic, approximately two weeks later the brake stuck completely and by the time I got it to my mechanic I had to replace the caliper and rotor and mechanic said I could have lost braking all together. As this store was busy with changing winter to all season tires, I dont think they looked at my car at all. This is a serious problem. If you cant handle taking in another car due to being too busy then dont do it. Total fail. read more
