So I called ahead of time made an appointment was quoted a price 790 got their then the price went up to 1245 big jump called ford they said I don't have big brakes they have done my brakes before. So I told them never mind. When I go into my car to drive home I went from being able to stop my car and it never moving while at a light to me not being able to stop my car and the car moving while I'm pressing the brake. This should have never happened and was very dangerous. I don't know what they did. But things was not put back to the original state. Wow. Well I was trying to get an appointment at ANY local Les Schwab to get a puncture repaired and they were all going into December already. But I had time to NOT have a car for at least 24 hours so we took a chance and just did a walk in at this location. I was helped immediately, arriving around 3:05 and told that they weren't really busy so it shouldn't be too long. Well within one hour they called me and let me know that it was DONE!!! I have gone to LS EVERY time I've had a hole/puncture in my tire for repair, but never to this location. They were fast, friendly and didn't try to make me buy new tires. Free is always value. And I truly appreciate that I can get my hole patched and know that it's good to go because LS always does a good job. Value is there!! read more

I am the owner of Family Motor Company down the street, on Pacific Highway 99, for years I went to a different tire place, and I just kind of lived with the tires that were not warranted to my customers. I used to only get alignments done at this location. They always did a great job on alignments. Until one day I went into this location and one of the guys that works there that's named Ben, took it upon himself to see if he could earn my business, since I have switched to getting all of my tires at this location, they continue to be very helpful, and although I might pay a little more for tires through them occasionally, I think it is well worth it to have the warranty that comes along with them! Between my 2 Family Motor Company locations we sell about 1200 vehicles a year. I appreciate all the assistance I've received. I would highly recommend this location. read more

They will completely try and up sake to and force all new tires and refused to replace my 1 tire that has a slow leak. he shared it was policy and refused and put much shad spare on stating it was required to get all 4. The sensor on my Audi Q7 indicated low tire pressure. Wanting to get it looked at before I went to airport. I pulled in for air check station, which is free at this Les Schwab. The gentlemen started to fill my tires with air and said you have a screw in your tire that's causing the slow leak. He immediately pulled it in less than 15 minutes my tire was repaired. As I went up to talk with Ben, he said I wanted to make sure you weren't late to your flight and I told myself let's get this done before the airplane even lands expecting to pay for the repair. Be aware !!!! Do not take your car there for service!!! They are all liars. They will lie to make you buy new tires even though your flat tire can be fixed. Their excuse is "because you don't do tire rotation regularly" and when I asked them for a record of the tires that I purchased, they was mumbling to each other and asked me for the receipt. Wtf is that !!!! Obviously, they don't want to fix your flat tires for free as they advertise. They want you to pay before you leave their shop no matter what. When you ask for a discount, they will say those tires are already on sale ( they are not on sale). I asked them to show me where it is said On Sale and they were unable to show me. Jude ( the supervisor) and the lady tried to fool me by showing me the on sale price on their computer but when I asked what was the original price, they just shut the fuck up. Lyft has a rideshare program deal with Les Schwab so their drivers can get a little discount when they purchase new tires and clearly that Only this location dishonor that deal. They are like " I don't give a fuck about you ". I have been with Les Schwab for years and never have problems with them until I took my car to this Scam shop. Please don't take your car there. They are trained liars !!!!! Les Schwab has changed since they have the new owner !!!! MAY 31ST, 2023 - UPDATE We had to replace the tire. I took the tire to the Tesla dealer and they confirmed that there were several issues - 1) the tire is a "Z" rated tire and therefore can not be repaired via a "Plug". 2) This type of tire must be patched. 3) Due to the weight of the car (Tesla's are heavy), the chunk out of the sidewall did compromise the tire's integrity and rendered it unsafe to drive. 4) The Dealer also speculated that the chunk out of the sidewall of the tire was definitely not caused by rubbing against a curb or other driving hazard. The divot in the tire matches a standard tire machine that is used to separate the tire from the wheel. The assumption is that Les Schwab's service tech tried to use the machine, to remove and separate the tire from the wheel to do the patch repair we requested. The Tech must have found that the machining process did not work and created the chunk/divot in the side wall of the tire. He then stopped and used a "plug" instead. $507 later I'm at a full loss for the tire, mounting, and balancing. I have retained the old tire as evidence and will file a claim against Les Schwab. read more

They are not easy, I couldn't figure out how to do it. I told the gentleman at the service desk I had a problem, and he walked right out to the car with me and began to help me. One of my tires was almost flat so I stopped at Les Schwab. After waiting 2 hours a mechanic took the tire off and found a hole than stuck his screw driver through the hole and said he could not fix it and since it was an AWD all 4 tires needed to be replaced. In addition, he stated it was a federal law. I thought is was BS so I took it to the Fiat dealership in Beaverton and told him what Les tech stated. He confirmed it was BS and patch my tire. Turned out the cause was corrosion to the rim, which the technician Daniel buffed out and fixed my tire--no charge. Had me back on the road in 45 minutes. Just words will not convince me they are a safe place to shop. I went in to get a tire rotation, and I saw two employees wearing their mask on half of their face. One was talking directly with a customer, not 6 feet away. They are understaffed. I think I saw three people working, with 7-8 bays available. I was told I had to wait 2.5 hours to get my tires rotated. This really irks me. I lost count how many times a tire company tells me they would not honor the warranty mileage, with the most common excuse, "You must not have rotated your tires." Schwab makes no money on this service, your tires need to be replaced quicker and more expensively. Just smells like a scam. Another policy that irks me, they are not open on Sunday. For folks that work during the week, this leaves Saturday to get your tires worked on. Put your customers first, open up on Sunday! read more

I took my 1999 Audi A4 to this location for brakes over the summer. Despite not going for the most expensive option they had, it still ended up costing me $1000. I have a feeling most cars cost less. When I first came in, the gal who greets was anything but friendly. She wasn't rude, but she never smiled, and when I asked if I could use my existing charge account for the cost of the brakes, she said they can't use accounts from other stores. This isn't true, it's just that store won't get the revenue, so they like to pretend their system doesn't allow it. I confirmed this by calling the store I had opened the account at - which is an infinitely more friendly location - and the gal I spoke with confirmed it was ok and doable. After finally sorting that out, I dropped off the car the night before it was scheduled. When I picked it up the next day after work, the e-brake cable was not engaging, leaving the car to roll freely (the car is a 5-speed manual). I went in and asked them to fix it, and was told they had done a full systems check so that was impossible. After I convinced them something was wrong, the mechanic put it back on a lift and examined it. He said everything looked fine. Despite my e-brake having zero issues when I dropped it off in terms of grabbing, and the fact that I paid them so much for the work, I insisted they fix it. The mechanic said he couldn't do anything, and asked if I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I told him yes. The supervisor came out to my car, where I illustrated what was going on. He proceeded to get in, test it himself, where he discovered that if he pulled up as far as physically possible, it grabbed SLIGHTLY. He then proceeded to tell me that it's due to my car's age, and they didn't touch the cable. He even went as far as stating the cable can't be adjusted. I insisted all of this was wrong, and I wasn't satisfied. He then googled "how to adjust brake cable on Audi" right in front of me, and learned he was wrong, that it could in fact be adjusted. He told me to bring the car back and he would have it adjusted. I did. When I picked up the car, there was no tension on the e-brake whatsoever, and it was only marginally better than before. Still nowhere near what you can call "fixed". They offered no apologies, no means of compensation or waiving of fees, etc. Zero gestures of good faith; only excuses, and patronizing explanations. That was the day Les Schwab lost my business forever. I'd been buying tires through them for almost 15 years. read more

I came here this weekend to get winter tires. The gentleman who helped me in the beginning was very helpful and informative (Not sure his name). He estimated 3 hour wait. After having to make 2 calls to them to check what was going on, I finally was able to pick my car up after 6 1/2 hours. I wish they gave better time frames and/or call to update that it would be taking longer. I also asked that my old tires be disposed of but when I picked my car up, all 4 tires were bagged up in my back seat. Seems a bit unorganized but what I needed done got done. read more

Be aware that the tire warranty is invalidated if you do not rotate your tires every less than 5k miles @ their center AND keep the paperwork yourself. Our 65k tires are caput after 20k miles and 3 rotations, but not good enough for warranty service. They say its recommended. They need to say "required for warranty service" and they should use tires that actually last the warranty period with rotations. As it is, my impression is that their business model is to knowingly short you when you basically follow the recommendation but find out later they are keeping your money and you get to pay again years before planned. We have found they seem to also not be able to find some service records until you give them a copy. read more

My car had a complete flat tire when I went to drive it this morning. I was unable to fix it myself and had to call a Les Schwab technician to help me put the spare on. Before attempting to put the spare on (which would have been a service fee charge) Brody filled up the tire with air and checked it every few seconds to make sure it wasn't a "fast leak". He drove behind me the entire time on the way back to the nearest Les Schwab. I wasn't charged for him putting air in my tire and was able to replace the flat with a new tire, worry free. I really appreciated the extra effort and Brody had great customer service. I recommend Les Schwab to everyone!!! read more

One week ago a Toyota dealership in Wilsonville said my 2014 Prius failed their alignment check so their service department recommended a complete wheel alignment. Today I visited the Les Schwab King City for an alignment check. The technician asked some relevant questions, drove my car then checked it out on their alignment equipment. He said my cars' alignment is within Toyota specs and is not in need of a wheel alignment front or rear. He suggested I have the alignment checked again in one year along with regular maintenance. These guys are the best! I always feel confident having my tires checked at Les Schawb but this particular location they guys up front are always so friendly and welcoming. This was the third time in about 3 months I had to bring my car in due to my tire pressure light coming on. Robert was super helpful and we talked about the recommended pressure and the sensors in the tires which battery can go out after a certain amount of years. He checked all my sensors and when they responded well he dug into the next possible issue. Ultimately he found the Nissan dealership where i had my car 60k serviced just 2 weeks ago failed to 'reset' my sensor meters in my car computer. he was able to do that for me and the light went off immediately. So, let me start with I am a retired, disabled combat veteran who has a broken back. I need my battery changed in my car, my GF bought it for me, but, my back, I tried, I cant swap it out. I drove to nearest les Schwab as they have always helped me with everything, every time, my whole life. Well, before I became disabled anyways. So, I go, a guy looks up stuff on his computer(again I have my new battery already ready to go in, and old battery exposed for the swap. He keeps looking on his computer, and coming up with reasons for why he'd love to help me but oh gosh so many people before me, and $15 for swap.. didn't mind wait, but, fixed income, I was hoping for a little compassion here, instead I got Corporate America. Goodbye Les Schwab, I've been a customer my entire adult life. No more. Edit: the wait was a non issue, could have waited all day. 10+ bays, 2 cars in bays, 8+ empty, couple people in waiting room, at least a dozen employees, 6 of which were sitting or standing in groups of 2 and 3, one off on their own, noticed a few busy and, working, all the rest were on their phones.. oblivious..
