I needed a new set of trailer tires and wheels for my enclosed trailer. One phone call and they had it handled. They asked for photo of the current wheel and tire combo to confirm sizes and that was simple enough. When I arrived for install I added to the job by requesting the wheel bearings be done as well. They were quick to agree and the entire job was completed in just about 3 hours! The trailer looked great and it towed 1500 miles like a dream, no problems at all. I took my car in to have the oil changed and have them check my tires and breaks and all those things that need to be checked before a big trip in the winter. I had a free winter pre trip safety check. So I decided since it needed an oil change I would let them do it while they are checking all that stuff on Tuesday. The big reason why I wanted to go to Les Schwab is because my car had been sitting a few weeks and the tires were cold and the air pressure sensors were all in the red so I needed air in all of them, this free safety check included tire pressure check plus you can go to Les Schwab and get them to fill up a low tire anytime have done it before. Well they call me and tell me my car is ready to be picked up I'm so happy cuz I'm thinking my car is gonna drive so much better I get the bill for almost $92 didn't know it was gonna be that much cuz I usually pay $65 for an oil change but anyway I'm thinking I have everything else checked n that's the added bonus. I get to my car and turn it on and the tires are all still in the red!!!!! This is a tire place!!!! I even put in the comments when I set up my appointment my tires were low to add air!!! I guess the safety check was to just check those things but not to add anything if it needed it?!?!? I mean come on!! I was so mad I pulled away n went to the gas station down the street where you have to pay $1.50 for air n put air in my own tires and still ran out of time before I could get them all out of the red. And I used $3.00!!! They lured me in with this email and promotion and couldn't even put air in my tires!! read more

We were visiting friends in Walla Walla in our RV and when we pulled out of their driveway we found out that we had a flat tire in one of the rear duals. We tried to fill it with air but we could hear it rushing out, so we zipped right on over to Les Schwab on Issac street and told them our problem. Thinking anything on an RV expensive we were nervous about the outcome, but we had to get on home, so we left it with them and went to breakfast. When we got back to pick her up they said, "no charge" Just a broken valve stem. Wow! we were over the moon about that and happy to recommend their service to others. Walla Walla Les Schwab employee Oscar charged me $52 for a simple jumpstart, when the College Place Les Schwab charges only $25! I told the guy when he came to jumpstart my car, that I was going to drive straight to CP Les Schwab to check it out, so he knew I was not going to the WW location. After I said this, he said if I found I needed to buy a new battery, I would not be charged for the jumpstart. CP Les Schwab tried calling Walla Walla location to reimburse me, but placed this technician on hold for so long, he hung up and reimbursed me for the whole thing off my new battery, and said he would deal with them later. Oil change person left some bolts off my under carriage mudflap after completing the task. Now it's dragging and being destroyed. Can't send customer service emails: error message. Can't leave voicemail at the actual service shop. Toll free customer service number only takes messages and never returns them. Disappointing all around. read more

Very honest service. We had a trip check before moving to So California. Some issues were found that could have frightened us into delaying the drive and having the work done first. Andy said we should be just fine and to have it done in our new location. He gave up an easy sell for our convenience. Bravo! Since this review I've been to my own mechanic who says the problems with my car were created by Les Schwab because they didn't tighten the lug nuts on one tire after rotating them. We're on vacation when I realize I have a slow leak. Punch in tire repair into my TomTom and we end up and Les Schwab. They were very busy. Car didn't get in for 45 minutes then took about 20 minutes to fix. When I went up to the counter to pay. She said sign here, its taken care of. What? I was confused. She said, "Its free to fix flats, you've got more important things to take care of then this." Well that's not an exact quote but you get the gist of it. WOW. This place is a scam. They keep promising results but they can't even get a car aligned after I brought in my car a second time. The Assistant Manager, David Seely, told us he is very knowledgeable about our vehicle but if he is so knowledgeable why do we need to bring in our car a third time for them to try and fix it? Guessing and assumptions doesn't make a gentleman knowledgeable. The workers here need to be trained on their customer service skills and learn to read the warranties they take so much pride in. Go to the Milton Freewater Les Schwab instead! Services are cheaper in MF, and the customer service and management is way better. read more

As far as Les Schwab tire stores go, this one is fine. Those commercials? Saying some manager/employee left a family BBQ or some such? when the store was closed? Ha...Not happening at this store. Perfectly fine service, quality merchandise. Rarely a wait. Really nice employees, both in the shop and office. When I went, my LS tire had a flat, because I ran over a nail. No problem. Tire fixed and mounted in 15 minutes....No charge. Gotta love the Les Schwab guarantee. read more

I had to write a review for this place because they fixed my rental car tire for free. When I acted surprised the guy helping me said just come back and see us again. I live in Arizona and was in Walla walla for work very randomly, so the odds I will be back are pretty slim, I figured writing a review was the next best thing. Everyone was very friendly, they have wifi and tv in their waiting area and free popcorn. Great customer service, I would definitely be back if I lived in the area! read more

The rear inside tire of our 32' motorhome appeared to have a leak (as alerted by the tire monitoring system). Of course this happened on a Sunday... We called first thing on Monday--in fact about 15 min before their official opening time at 8 am--somewhat expecting a "sorry, next appointment is one week from now (you see, we RVers are used to generally appalling RV Dealer/garage service). But instead we got a "Absolutely, come on in". Once there, we were whisked in right away and a tire tech got to work. Turned out there wasn't a leak but a loose tire valve extension that triggered the alert. Relief! Fixed. And best of all, NO CHARGE! WOW! THANK YOU!!!!! read more

Place is full of con artists and scammers. Normally, I'd trust Les Schwab based on their reputation, but they'll no longer have my service ever again. Had our winter wheels & tires changed here and noticed a lot of noise coming from the back wheels. They took it for a test drive came back and said they would need to do a full hub assembly for $500. Thinking something was fishy, I took it to another mechanic and had him look at it. Turns out the lug nuts were loose and rattling around. Saved us a bunch of money. Previous times, they've told me my tires were cupping and I needed to replace all of my shocks. Nope. Two other places confirmed this wasn't the case and that they were most likely just trying to get me to spend money on new shocks, which are worn sure, but are just fine. This is the third time they've tried to nickel and dime me. Never again Les Schwab. You've lost a customer for life. read more

I would compare my current feeling with Les Schwab to that of loaning my car to a friend, who then drives an entire tank of gas and does not fill the tank before returning it. I still like them, but I am much less likely to loan my car to them again. I had a front wheel bearing replaced 1 1/2 years ago (29,000 miles ago). This week I went in for an alignment and asked them to check the bearing because I heard what sounded like bearing noise up front. They checked it, and sure enough, the bearing they had replaced 29,000 miles ago was bad. It is 4,000 miles out of warranty so I am responsible for the full cost of replacement. Fine, that is life, and owning a car costs money, EXCEPT that at least the last two times I had my tires rotated, I asked the Les Schwab I was at to check the bearing because I heard bearing noise. That means at least twice while in the warranty period they checked the bearing, but decided it was nothing. The most previous time was another Les Schwab and they said, "There is some noise, not sure what it is." Since they did not enter notes in the computer I have nothing to fall back on, and this Les Schwab had no interest in taking much responsibility. I got $20 off this replacement for telling them the story. Les Schwab has treated me VERY well in the past, and I don't generally think they are a bad place, but I FEEL ABUSED in this case and will take it into consideration for my future work (again, see the first paragraph analogy). Note that this is not reflected completely on the Walla Walla Les Schwab, as I have my tires rotated at whatever Les Schwab I am close to at the time. But, this is the shop that I feel should have honored the warranty. But, I have no evidence to give them because the Les Schwabs I asked to check the bearing while in warranty did not note the noise in the computer. Lesson: If you hear bearing noise or suspect a warranty issue with something Les Schwab serviced, push them hard to put it in the notes, as they are not likely to give much consideration after their warranty is up. read more

This is the best shop I've ever been to. By trade I'm a mechanic. I'm on my honeymoon and don't have any tools with me. The break line melted about 70 miles east of Walla Walla Friday night. We made it into town with the trailer breaks only. Saturday morning we called and told them the problem they said bring it in. They found out that not only was the line melted the caliper was missing a bolt a lug nut was not right. The muffler that we just had repaired was hitting the rear differential so hard that the muffler had a hole in it. They went above and beyond to find the impossible to find break line, cut the muffler and fix the caliper. We Have duel piping on the exhaust. Cutting one pipe at the muffler is not going to hurt is at all. They kept my husband informed at all times and was so very nice. They found out we were on our honeymoon and decided we were going to be back on the road today. Thank you so very much for making that happen. We will never forget what you have done for us. My parents started me at Les Schwab tires when I turned 17 and always stayed with them, there service had always been great. I bought my wild country tires in Nov. 2012 had a leak last month in back tire went to Les Schwab and the guy came out and stated it only would need air. So I said great no problem, but as time of a week came it was low again went back got the same again. So I thought ok let my daughter take it in she got the same treatment. So after trying a month to get someone to take the tire off I finally asked my husband who has always been a fan went thought this can't be happening he got the same treatment but he said no it needs fixing he took it up with the girl behide the counter she blew it off. He also stated to the worker and he also blew it off. My husband has been a loyal as his father was. Not anymore will he or I or our kids go there after these tires wear out.
