One month in, and they have wowed their customers with delicious creative breakfasts, including the local favorite Ramp Bowl, and probably the very best biscuits in buckwheat sausage gravy you can find in town. Everything is delicious and made from scratch, so sometimes there's a slightly longer wait. This is definitely not fast food...and that's a good thing! The big news in May is that The Breakfast Caffe is now offering delivery through Door Dash (check the app for details.) I believe this is during the evening hours through 9PM. For starters, they are offering Nashville Tender Chicken Sandwiches and Burgers and Fries through the service. I had one of the first burgers Chef created for the service and I'm not kidding, this may be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. It was made to order (I like mine medium well) with onions, tomatoes, bacon and cheese with some mustard and a little ketchup. It was a generous burger that was absolutely perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. What elevated it even further was that the brioche bun it was on fully encased the meat and toppings, so there wasn't a drip in sight. A decadent no mess burger...now that is hard to find. And the mouth happiness doesn't end there...I am not a big fries fan, because honestly, fries are often disappointing..overcooked, droopy, cold tasteless oily empty calories.
