Quiet with great coffee and exceptional baked goods. The Dakota bread is multi grain and wonderful. Highly recommend!

Really like this place--for sit down/eat in and for loaves of bread and cookies to go.

I also have to rave about the biscuits; they had that perfect contrast of being nice and crispy on the outside while remaining incredibly moist on the inside. We tried the whiskey butter, which was definitely something different, but it was so good! To top it all off, the fresh squished oranges were a total win--you can't beat that freshness. A huge shoutout to Mark K, who was super helpful and made our visit even better. Exceptional service and fantastic food. I'll definitely be back!!

What a fun little place! How buddy of mine recommended it so I knew I had to go check it out. We…read moremet there at noon on a Wednesday, and were able to get right in. All the servers were very nice. Gave us the rundown on any specials that they had and were just genuinely great people. For appetizers we got the pepper running rolls, which you absolutely must have! Make sure you get a side of marinara sauce because this stuff is off the chart. We ordered the meat sampler plate so we had a little bit of everything including ribs, brisket and pulled pork. It was absolutely delicious and the sauce was so complimentary to the meat. It did not overpower it in the least. The meat had a good amount of char to it so it was very delicious. Just the way I like barbecue. The bottom line? If I'm ever traveling this way again I will absolutely stop at this place! My waist line won't appreciate it, but I'm all in for those pepperoni rolls again!

Visited this conference center last month for a work event. It is a state of the art facility with…read morea large banquet hall for meetings. They also have a kitchen staff that does food for events st the center. We had an amazing buffet with grilled chicken, pork loin, red roasted potatoes, green beans, and salad. Everything was cooked perfect and was very flavorful. It was more like being in a fine dining establishment than a conference center. It seems they must have a hired chef on site which was a great idea considering they could have just went with regular buffet style food. A great place to have a business meeting and event in the Bridgeport/ Clarksburg area.

We went to Bridgeport Conference Center yesterday for the Mother's Day brunch. A bit pretentious…read moreand over ambitious. Their menu listed every leaf of lettuce and pea. But it was disappointing. Our reservation was for 12:45 but we didn't get seated until after 1:00. Stood in hallway which was full of other waiting patrons AND those already seated because they had to go to other rooms across the hall to get their food. Not a happy solution. After seating there were no instructions as to procedures. We waited a few minutes then were told to wait for waitress to take drink orders before going across hall to get food. Waited several more minutes. Waitress was VERY busy so we went to get food and she got our drinks later (and dutifully refilled glasses when asked.) Many of the platters of various cold foods were empty. Others were messy and uninviting. I suppose everything advertised on menu was (or had been) there, although I never saw even a suggestion of avocado. We opted out of waffles, omelets and breakfast - too bustling. The hot foods were pretty readily available. The beef carvery was well attended and the beef was cooked well. The southern fried chicken was pretty good except the bread coating was quite crusty - almost like a hard shell. The shrimp was tasteless and the pork marsala was not very good either. The scalloped potatoes were delicious and possibly the second best thing they served. Desserts were attractive, fairly tasty and the layered chocolate cake was the star of the show! A jazz quartet played intermittently throughout - nice touch. We had to ask and wait for our check and the waitress did not tell us she would take care of it at table - so I wandered the hallway searching for a checkout register. The price of $24 was the same as the North Bend State Park charges for their holiday brunches. North Bend is not nearly as confusing and boisterous AND the food is better tasting. I do not expect to choose Bridgeport over North Bend again.
