Items that seem like they cannot be refinished or made new again, can be and will be made to look brand new. Items we have had worked on with results beyond our expectations: 1. Wooden picture frame that we wanted to be changed into a darker color to match our decor 2. A Chinese wooden flower pot stand that was damaged by water and sun. 3. A decorative wooden stand to be stained a different color. Now we don't even hesitate to think of any furniture or household item/decor that needs refinishing because we know Josh can do it. Imagine all the people who get rid of their items when they think it cannot be fixed or it is ruined, they are wrong. They just have not met Josh. I never thought that I could find someone with Josh's skills and passion for his craft off Yelp. Juan arrived with his employee, made sure everything was set up and communicated what time they would start the next day. They prepped and painted 4 days. All in, including pressure washing day, our house was completed in 5 days. What a difference! We had seen other neighbors' exterior paint jobs take weeks! Juan worked side by side with his team and really knows what he is doing. Many times I would pop outside to find Juan up on a ladder working hard. They carefully wrapped all our porch lights, A/C equipment, windows and doors. They put plastic down everywhere to avoid overspray. I hired Lesher Painting, who was completing a job across the street from my a rental home I own. The quality control was terrible. No doorknobs or electrical plates were removed. Many areas i contracted for were not painted. All the doors that were supposed to be painted were painted with flat paint. Absolutely terrible quality. The owner has promised multiple times to make it right but he has not. This is only the second negative review I have ever left. I am also a General Contractor. read more

Unfortunately, the owner continues his online crusade to discredit me and I'm backed into a corner to prove the legitimacy of my concerns. I've added a video showing yellowing throughout the house. This is not a moisture issue. When the work was finished caulking was not yellowed, but I found several areas throughout the house that were not caulked at all. I was also was unhappy with the gap between boards and the floor. The owner is correct when he says I signed a contract indicating that this would not be done. I was guided into this and later found out that it is not always standard practice. Nonetheless, I signed this contract and feel that it would be unfair for me to grade based upon this problem alone, hence the updated increase to my rating. When painting was finished I did voice my discontent with the way things turned out. The owner became defensive about his work. His strategy was to deflect these concerns as a me problem, rather than a workmanship problem. I can remember feeling pressured at the end of the job to agree that things were satisfactory and reluctantly paid. There was no call back to fix the yellowing because his arrogance turned me off. I did not want him back in my house. I've lived in the house for years, looking at my unsightly baseboards. Every time I walk through my hallways I'm reminded of how frustrated I am that I paid good money for this. I do not like publicly shaming a company, but in this case it's necessary. After years I finally posted a review. The bottom line is that the job is substandard. I have to have things repainted at my own expense and I'm very disappointed about it.
