We've used three different tile/granite co's in the past and were very disappointed with demo, tile work and poor cleanup, and housekeeping. We immediately liked Moudy and read reviews on Google and Yelp. It was quick for scheduling maybe a week or so lead time. We were only going to do one bathroom countertop at a time, but Moudy pointed out we would use and waste half a slab. The demo team was so gentle in dismantling our countertops. They papered off the cabinet facing and the mirror frame. They made a great effort to be clean and gentle, and always nice and tidy at the end of the dau. We've had some very rough demos in the past where they knocked giant holes in the drywall. The result was that we had to replace all the drywall where they removed tile. With Giza, we didn't have to repair any drywall. As it turns out, the demo team is the installer as well. They were such nice guys. They asked questions on my preferences for things such as caulking, etc. Very, very nice job. They even did the first sealing for me. I highly recommend Giza and will only call them for my future work.

We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! Their attention to detail--such as lining up the carpet pattern on the stairs and making sure the cut pattern on the risers were balanced--was impressive. The entire job, including moving large furniture, was completed in two days. We couldn't be more pleased! He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. If I can stop even one person from getting screwed the way we did, then at least this disaster serves a purpose.

Buyer Beware - My Home Was Left Torn Apart - Their contractor license has been revoked!…read more I never imagined I would be writing a review like this, but I feel obligated to warn other homeowners. I hired Flooring Direct Temecula to replace the flooring throughout my home. On June 22, 2026, I signed a contract for laminate flooring and paid the required deposit to pay for materials. The installation began but stopped abruptly after only part of the flooring was installed because there were no remaining materials. What followed was one of the worst customer service nightmares I have ever had. For more than two weeks, the owner, Bill Norris, completely disappeared. My repeated phone calls and text messages went unanswered. I received absolutely no communication explaining why my home had been left in pieces. During that same time: * The installer told me he had not been paid. * The delivery driver told me he could not reach Bill. * A salesperson ( His son Billy) at Flooring Direct Temecula also told me he could not get Bill to answer his calls. Think about that for a moment. Not only could the customer not reach the owner, but his own employees and subcontractors couldn't reach him either. Because no one would communicate with me, I had to investigate the situation myself. I contacted the flooring manufacturer directly and discovered that only part of my flooring order had ever been purchased. The remaining flooring required to finish my home was sitting at the manufacturer because it had never been paid for. As the homeowner, I was told I could not obtain my own flooring because only the contractor could authorize and pay for its release. Meanwhile, my home was left with exposed subfloors, furniture piled everywhere, and rooms that were unusable. No phone call. No explanation. No plan. No concern for the customer. I ultimately had to open a dispute with Chase Visa to protect my money. I also filed felony charges!!!!!!!!!!! Only after I escalated the situation and informed Bill that I was involving the police to document what had happened and finally pressed formal criminal charges did he finally contact me. This entire situation could have been handled differently with honest communication. Instead, I was left chasing answers from installers, delivery drivers, and manufacturers because the person responsible for my project simply disappeared. This wasn't simply a delayed job. This was a complete breakdown in communication and professionalism that left my family living in an unfinished construction zone while we had no idea whether our project would ever be completed. I strongly encourage anyone considering Flooring Direct Temecula to do extensive research, verify everything independently, and understand exactly who is responsible for your project before paying a deposit. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Jan was prompt in scheduling appointments for an estimate and for the work to be done. Grant explained in detail the process to deep clean the tile and grout, caulk the perimeter of the shower pan and reset several loose tiles. Grant took his time and did a fantastic job. WOW!! This company does Amazing work. My 25 year old tile kitchen floors look New! Grant came out to give an estimate and cleaned an area and put down the grout color choices. He did a Terrific job cleaning and resealing the floors. They look so good it looks like they were replaced not resealed. I am thrilled with the results. Where to start? There is no doubt that Nick's machine is powerful and works well. The machine is…read morenot the problem - the problem is Nick. He arrived on property and after spending 15 minutes on my tile floor, he found me and said "this is a nightmare." Apparently, previous owners of our house had sealed the tile with wax or Mop n' Glow, or something to that effect. This caused an issue with his filter, he had to rinse it out way more often than usual, etc. My thought was, that sucks - sounds like a tough day at the office, which we've all had. And I sympathized - offered him refreshments, etc. But what he should have said immediately was, this is not a job for a floor cleaning, but a floor stripping. That would have been inconvenient for me, but I would have understood. And that truly would have been it - he could have stopped, I would have pivoted my plans and I wouldn't be in this situation. Instead, he felt like he was doing me a favor by doing the job anyway, but ultimately doing it poorly. How is that doing me a favor? I payed for 2/3 of a job that now has to be completely redone because the floor should have been stripped in the first place. He wanted to charge me "a lot more" to make the last section of the floor, look as good as the rest. What?? And, even though the best parts of the floor were not particle/sealant free, (not to mention the floor that was incomplete looked horrible) he was going to go to Lowe's to buy the grout sealer to put on top of the entire job that was not complete. This begs two questions - 1. Why? If you're telling me the floor needs to be stripped, wouldn't that negate the need for grout sealer that you're going to charge me $240? (I asked him that question and he said "Depends." Ok...) And 2. Why did he not have the sealer in his van, already? He asked if he could show up early - why not show up at the agreed upon time, prepared to do the job? The worst part is that he complained constantly the entire time he was at my house - as a customer who is being provided a service, do I need to hear this? Do the job, or don't do the job, but don't cry about it. 'Such a narcissist: "This is a nightmare" - he must have said this 10 times ; "this is Top 5 worst house I've ever serviced in 26 years." He should be ashamed of himself. I can only imagine what it would have been like for my wife had I not been there. And, to top it all off, when I texted him that I was unhappy, he told me that he had a rough morning, that "I didn't get it" and that I had too many cigars and N/A beers or something to that affect. Truly unprofessional. He offered to come back and finish the job the next day. Why would I have him back? Here is what I "get," what I and the rest of the world understand - the measure of hospitality, customer service and professionalism is best assessed when things don't go as smoothly as you would hope and how well you react to such adversity. They were there on time and greeted me with a smile. Introduced themselves and got to work. Measured the SqFt correctly and started work. It took 2 hours with an hour for sealant to dry. Results- Unbelievable. What a great job. Travertine looks like it did 20 years ago when we put it in. I cannot recommend them enough. Whoever uses them are in good hands.
