Cannot say enough good things about Lesley's Creative Cakes! Lesley and team did our wedding cake and accompanying desserts, and they were all amazing. I sent over design photos of what we were thinking and they got our vision exactly. The cake itself was the BEST cake we've ever had (snickerdoodle with vanilla buttercream) and a lot of our guests said the same!

Birthday cake for my granddaughter was beautiful and delicious ! They did a wonderful job with the theme.

We were looking for someone to make us a cake for our baby shower and after getting several quotes we decided to go with Lesley's. We are so glad we did! I will not be going to or referring honestly ANYONE else. Lesley knows what she's doing, and I'm SO honored that I had the privilege of experiencing a cake from her!!! My son just turned 3 today, and his party was last Saturday at an Uptown Jungle. He asked for Spiderman! I wasn't really even sure what a good Spiderman cake would look like, but I had a couple of ideas. The cake was executed perfectly to my specific wishes and just looked spectacular! Lesley listened and delivered with grade A service, and she was so kind and excited about making the cake in general that I had known I made the right choice from the start! I asked for a chocolate cake with peanut butter filling because that's what my son wanted as well, and I'm still finishing the rest of it from my fridge -- and it's still so fresh and delicious!!! Overall, I've never seen/tasted a better birthday cake in person until now, and -- again -- super grateful to have this experience!!! Thank you, Lesley!!!

The best of the best ! Came out exactly how I wanted it! They did my daughter's cake and cupcakes last year and it was such a hit by the guests that we booked them again this year!!! We had about two weeks until a birthday and we finally settled on a cake we wanted and the staff at Lesley's Creative Cakes were so helpful about what could be done within their packed schedule. The ordering process was quick and easy and sending the pictures I wanted, the response time was same day. Picking up the cake was easy I just texted and someone met me outside. Our sushi cake came out perfect! The cake and filling were so delicious. We will definitely use them in the future! I would definitely order a few weeks to a month in advance.

The first time I had the opportunity to try Lesley's Creative Cakes was when a friend was getting married in February of 2020. I fell completely in love with the coconut cake and buttercream. Later when planning my own wedding for November of 2024 I was delighted to find Lesley's cakes were as delicious as ever and they worked with me to create the design I wanted. During this time I also recommended them to another friend getting married and they loved Lesley's Creative Cakes too! Myself and both my friends can attest to how smooth the process is to order a cake for your event, how affordable it is, and how delicious they are! I recommend Lesley's Creative Cakes for any and all of your cake needs! FYI- I've been to a lot of weddings where not all the cake gets eaten, at my wedding every single slice was enjoyed on the wedding night!

I highly highly recommend Lesley's creative cakes! I have pictured my beautiful wedding cake that was so delicious! We had three different flavors and they were so good! I chose Lesley's because they were a preferred vendor through Villa Tuscana, which was an amazing venue. The cake tastings are strange cause they only have them once a month and with only 3-4 flavors you can try. So you kinda have to guess which ones you will like unless you start a year in advance so you can taste everything. I was very confident in the bakery until the day of. The cake did not look good! The writing was incredibly sloppy and and "gold" was a mustard yellow. I didn't make a fuss then because what could we do? But I waited until I got the pictures back from the photographer. Definitely not what we wanted or agreed on, but it did taste fine. I have included a picture. In the left is what I showed her and the right is our cake. For the $400 price, I would have been happier going to Safeway. read more

We used Lesley's cakes for our wedding cake, and it was delicious! We chose a crumb coat, because, no one really likes fondant anyway. The cake was moist and delicious and beautiful. As the bride, I left the decorations I wanted on the cake up at the cake table, and Lesley's took care of the rest when they set it up. Two thumbs up! read more

My family and I have ordered from Lesley many times, and this was the first time I wasn't satisfied with the cake or the customer service. I ordered a lemon cake with custard and blueberries. The cake was beautiful, but it was very dry and there weren't many blueberries in it (I've ordered this exact flavor so I know how it should taste). When I reached out to Lesley, she explained why it's not as moist but she didn't apologize and didn't offer anything. My family and I are returning customers and I'm not sure if we will be anymore! read more

My husband and I used Lesley's as our baker for our wedding cake and it was amazing! They were super helpful with our cake tasting and helping us decide on what flavors to use. We had a 4 tier cake with 2 of the tiers chocolate cake with strawberry glaze filling and the other 2 tiers vanilla cake with raspberry custard filling. Both flavors were delicious and I definitely recommend! read more

So disappointed. Our daughter's wedding cake was cracked before the photographer could take the first picture. Our daughter rotated the cake at the photographers request. , Two layers remained at the end of the reception and both were damaged and the frosting was melting off the cake. Feedback was provided post wedding to Lesleys with photographs and we were told that it was good that some guests enjoyed the cake and blame was placed on the venue. Meanwhile the bide and groom were left with no cake to taste or save for their first anniversary. We do not think that the response was adequate. We recommend that you pursue other options. read more

Ordered a cake from Leslie's and it turned out perfect! We weren't sure on a flavor because of all of the combinations, so she gave us some recommendations and we went with one of them Strawberry cake with Buttercream cream cheese filling) and it was delicious. Very accommodation as well, as they were literally in the middle of moving stores. The cake looked amazing and my daughter absolutely loved it. Will definitely be using them again! read more

We have used Lesley's creative cakes for the past 2-3 years for both simple sheet cakes and above and beyond cakes. I love using this bakery vs. a grocery store because of the service, the taste and freshness of the cakes. Recently ordered a cake for my daughter's 7th birthday. I gave Leslie a picture from Pinterest I wanted to re-create. She gave me ideas of where I can cut costs due to my budget. Also because I am so busy she made it easy to communicate via text and email. Cake was ready on time and it turned out great! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY. I had almost two years ago ordered a cake from Leslie's cakes and the service then was so much better. However, only a few days ago, I called to make sure they had available for an event we are having. I called and they said yes, that they did, so we placed an order that day. We heard nothing back so I called them and left a message, with my name and phone number and no one got back to me, NOW funny enough they sent an email saying they are booked for that day and let me know a few days later when the party is less than two weeks away. I called today and as soon as they realized who I was they hung up and when I tried to call back they sent me straight to voicemail. This is very unreliable and unprofessional given they told me that they had availability we turned away our other options because they said they could do it. Please have a backup plan, they are not reliable. read more

We used Lesley for our wedding cake. When we went to a vendor meeting at our venue The Falls Event Center. They had many different types of cakes to sample and we loved all of them. They took the time to talk with us about what we wanted and the design we were looking for. The cake looked beautiful and was designed better than I could have imagined. It showed they took great care with placing each cherry blossom and petal on the cake making it look wonderful. We did have a few hiccups with the order but nothing that would ruin our day. All the guests loved the cake and cupcakes. read more

I met Lesley at the Windmill Winery's open house, she was one of the cake vendors available to us from the venue. The cakes we tried at the open house were delicious, so we decided to go with her. We showed her pictures of what we wanted and discussed cake flavors and fillings (which she has a ton of). This review is for my very positive experience with the floral side of the business. My sister got married 4 years ago and used Lesley's Creative Cakes for both her wedding cake and flowers, so I decided to use them for the baby shower I threw for my sister and I was very pleased with the two center-pieces and five side bouquets Christine made. I live in California, so all of our exchanges had to be through emails (for picture references) and phone calls, and it turned out even better than I was expecting! I am completely disgusted with the turn out of my cakes from Lesleys. I got married a year ago and my cake turned out horrible. It didn't turn out anything like she had promised and I paid extra for frosting flowers and got tacky plastic ones instead. she promised that I would get a much better anniversary cake and it turned out just as horrible. Lesley's custom cake for my daughter's 3 year old birthday was Extradionary. Lesley's cake shop randomly came up when I was looking for a Peppa pig themed cake and I was getting responses from other cake shops either "Sorry, We don't do fondants or We are closed on Mondays". I was totally sold for the images in the photo gallery and I gave her a call and sent her a sample picture. She immediately responded with a "YES". I really appreciate, she checked with me on the details and flavor/fillings the day before. When I saw the cake, I was not a bit disappointed. It was just like the sample picture. I can see how much, they love their work from the minute details with the duckies in the pond and George's picnic(which was daughter so particular about). Everyone at the party loved it. Esp the kids were so excited to try the sun and the clouds on it. The cake was just not delicious but was gorgeous too. My daughter was soooo delighted for the lovely cake and it made her day. I called up Lesley this morning and asked her if she could deliver a cake and flowers to my brother TOMORROW for his birthday. She said SURE!! At 11:30 am here in the Bay Area, she agreed to deliver a cake to his doorstep in Gilbert, AZ tomorrow morning at 9:30. Wow! She was so pleasant, upbeat and helpful. I loved the cake we tried at the tasting. We asked about changing the filling and we sent a text telling them that. When we got the cake it was a filling that we did NOT want. We threw out the top tier of our cake, I let them know that. I believe they felt we were not clear in what we wanted, but I have the text that says other wise. I'm not expecting anything from them but an apology. I guess I'm asking for too much read more

There are so many GREAT things about Lesley and her company! I've had the chance to try a dozen of the different bakery items she has created, including cakes and cake balls, and everything she offers is simply scrumptious! I've never seen her flower creations in person, only in pictures, but they are quite lovely. Last but most certainly not least, the breakfast she serves is spectacular! I've had the chance to hold a couple of business group meetings there, and both times, everything on the menu was delicious! If you love bruschetta, you absolutely have to try hers! read more

Lesley's was amazing to work with! We started with going to one of their free monthly cake and dessert tastings and were hooked. We ordered a 3 layer cake with chocolate, margarita lime and vanilla. I went back a few weeks later and secretly ordered a groom cake as well. Both cakes came out amazing! Guests raved about the flavors and presentation. When the 3 tier cake was brought, the driver had forgotten the groom cake since it was on a different order but went back to get it before the ceremony started. I didn't even know about this happening until after the wedding. Great service, reasonable prices and deliciousness! read more

My Husband and I were so happy to have found such a great bakery to make our wedding cake. The process of tasting and ordering was so easy and professional. Lesley sat down with us and went through every detail about the cake, which was very comforting. The design of the cake was exactly what we wanted. The day of the tasting we had about 8 kinds of cakes with some very delicious frostings. We decided to go with 3 layers of almond cake with chocolate fudge frosting, chocolate cake with salted caramel buttercream, and Funfetti with buttercream. They were so tasty and moist. Everyone at our wedding raved about the cake. I went to culinary school and work in the hospitality business, so I had some pretty high expectations. My husband and I had been so disappointed with a couple of other cake shops that we tried. Lesley's creative cakes took care of everything the day of my wedding. I recently celebrated my 25th birthday and couldn't decide if I wanted to do a cake or not. Lesley kept checking in to see if I had made a decision. So finally the day before I decided to go ahead and go forward with it. This woman has so much patience! My cake turned out beautiful! I've received so many compliments on how nice it looked! Not only did it look great but it was delicious :) the only downside was that in my excitement of how pretty the cake was I missed that the bow was the wrong color lol it was a minor detail and I was so in love with the cake that I didn't care! read more

If you ever need a beautiful flower arrangement, this is the place to go! I was taking care of the flowers for my best friend's wedding and went with Lesley's and her business partner Christine, and I am so glad I did! Christine was very accommodating with my extremely busy work schedule and ensured everything was exactly the way the bride wanted it! The bridal bouquet was absolutely beautiful! Christine was even able to get the sunflowers that are my best friend's favorite flower, even though they were out of season. I was hesitant to order from here after reading some reviews, but I'm glad I decided to order my moms custom retirement cake here! The banana cake with buttercream frosting and peanut butter filling was delicious! Perfect texture, not hard or soggy. They used fondant and an edible printer for the designs. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because 1.) the lettering and apple logo on top weren't the greatest (some letters different widths than others and the cut out of the apple wasn't perfect, but hey, no ones perfect). 2.) the woman I placed the order with was kind of rude in tone at first, but she ended up making helpful suggestions to make my cake turn out better, which I appreciated. Wow. I wish I could have given an extra bonus star to this review. I have used a different cake company for years up until recently when they were not returning my call. Desperate to find a new creative cake bakery, I drove by Lesley's shop on Baseline road. Fate. I gave her a call, and explained my situation and that I needed a super unique cake for the weekend, which was 4 days away. She responded with "no problem! I'll even have it done a day early!" Music to my ears!!! I told her the theme of my son's birthday (locks and keys) and i let her run wild with whatever she wanted to come up with. The Master lock cake she made was so realistic and well made, not to mention, it tasted so yummy with the fresh strawberry layers! It was a HUGE hit with my son and the entire party. Everyone couldn't even believe it was a cake!! Mission accomplished! Oh! And when the cake was ready, she called and let me know I could pick it up, and even offered to deliver it to my house! Best cake baker in town! Don't waste your money or time on tasteless cakes from other bakers. Lesley is the sweetest lady and always delivers on her promise! This is my FOURTH cake from Lesley in a year! We ordered our wedding cake (grey ombre in yelp photos) and our grooms cake (49ers cake) and then the minion and cigar box cakes. She consulted with me about all of the details, colors, size, price, frosting and flavors, and was spot on... the cakes turned out perfect and she was so accommodating. I asked her to make a cake in 5 days for my dad's 65th and she more than delivered, she even went out to the cigar shop and bought real cigars to add to the design! Not to mention it was the best chocolate cake I have ever had, so moist, rich, and delicious! My dad just loved everything about it! My son loves minions so we wanted her to make a minion cake for his 2nd birthday. I sent her a few photos of my idea and she quoted me on all of the cakes and we chose to settle for a round flat one that was perfect! She checked in with me a week or two prior to the party to confirm everything and she always was so prompt in her responses. The kids loved the funfetti flavor and it again was a big hit with my son! Absolutely and positively AAAAAMAZZZZING!! My husband and I got married in December 2017 and Lesley was a preferred cake vendor through our venue! We are soooooo grateful to have worked with such wonderful and skilled bakers! Lesley and her team keep our guests wanting more, with a lusciously soft, moist, perfectly sweet, airy funfetti and orange creamsicle cake! And the desserts...I mean, our dessert bar CLEARED out because how good her cake balls, mini cupcakes and lemon bars were!! Guests were kindly coming over to us and asking "Is it okay if we grab some more? :p". Working with Lesley was everything and more we could have hoped for! One thing that we absolutely LOVED was that there are cake tastings EVERY month. Lesley and her team rotate the flavors of their cakes. I checked many bakeries in the Gilbert area for my wedding cake. Lesley's is the only bakery where you can actually do a cake tasting. Check their website and you will find dates for a cake tasting event. They will have many flavors made to sample. Everyone else just offered cupcakes to taste what they have to offer. It's not the same. Cupcakes are not as moist. There were so many fantastic flavors at Lesley's, it was hard to decide which two I wanted to go with. I ended up choosing a chocolate cake with mint cookie buttercream filling and another layer that was lemon with lemon buttercream filling. Then the entire cake had a vanilla frosting on the outside. I showed her a picture of what I wanted as far as design. It came out beautiful. I found their price to be very fair. The cake was beautiful and taste to die for! I was able to attend a cake tasting last year before our wedding. I loved the samples and decided to go with cupcakes and an individual cake to cut the day of the wedding. We had the wedding about three hours north of the bakery so they were able to provide containers to transport the cake and cupcakes. The containers even kept them cold so they wouldn't get ruined since the wedding was actually the day after we picked them up. I loved how they worked with me to get exactly what I needed and made sure I didn't over order for the number of guests (which I originally planned on ordering way more than what I actually needed). They were able to help me get exactly what I wanted and I was very happy with how they looked and especially how they tasted. I am now in the process of ordering the cake portion of the cake for our one year anniversary. They are able to make the exact replica so we can celebrate with the tradition of eating the cake, without having to eat a cake that has been in a freezer for a year. read more

Lesley is very talented and she made us a beautiful Alice in Wonderland cake and cookies for our daughter's first birthday party. We communicated via email. I sent her pictures of the cake I'm envisioning and she was very accommodating with all my requests. The cake is complicated and I was afraid she wouldn't be able to do some of the details I wanted, but she delivered and the cake was everything I wanted and more! As far as the taste, I wasn't able to do a tasting before ordering due to schedule conflict but Lesley gave me her recommendations and we chose her most popular flavors: chocolate with salted caramel buttercream and vanilla with fresh strawberries and custard. I have to tell you, there are SO many things to stress about when it comes to planning a wedding. Cake was something I stressed about. What if people didn't like it? What if it didn't make it to the reception? What if, what if, what if. The ladies over at Lesley's Creative Cakes were AMAZING! The cake was the least stressful part of my wedding planning. I must admit, when I went in for their open house tasting and ordering it was so easy I was actually hesitant. I figured, there is no way that it could be so easy to pick a flavor and a style and give them my date and reception location and just have it show up. There had to be more to it?! Nope. EASY. AND THE CAKE?! SOOOO delicious. Everyone raved about it and it was so beautiful, I didn't want to cut into it. Our wedding cake was created here and it was DELICIOUS!!! We wanted something simple and worked with Leslie and she gave us exactly what we wanted. My husband and I, along with our guests, loved the different flavors cake. We had three tiers: margarita, orange creamsicle, and snickerdoodle. We were able to sample each of these (plus many more) at one of the tastings we attended and they were to die for! Our favorite was the margarita flavoring. We used Lesley for our wedding cake vendor at the Windmill Winery. The cake was very good and she was able to replicate the design we found on pinterest. The only thing I wish was an option and wasn't would be one on one cake tasting. I had always seen that in movies and was excited to sit down with my husband to be and sample all the cake and filling options. But they don't offer this, maybe because they are very busy with all the weddings they do. You have to go to a open house once a month and try what they have available that day. Overall I am happy with Lesley's cakes and our guests also raved about how good the cake was at our wedding! We were able to do a different flavor for each tier which I liked. Lesley created our cake for our wedding last spring. She was very helpful as I gave her ideas of what I wanted--she helped me narrow it down and finally decide amongst all of my Pinterest questions. She was great at communicating with us--following up and such. The only critique I would give in this area would be professionalism--she texted me to set up appointments rather than calling and the texts seemed short and abrupt. Not a make or break by any means though! The cake turned out beautifully (simple and well executed--I didn't ask for anything extravagant) and tasted great. I was sad I only got a bite at our wedding with everything else we had to do. Thankfully my mom took home a lot of cake and we got to have some the next day. Let me just tell you how AMAZING Lesley is. She is so kinda and patient with us! Although we wanted a simple cake, she knocked it out of the park! We got married June 15, 2017 at the Windmill Winery. We went to her open houses and cake tasting so many times and had fallen in love with every single cake! It was so good and so so hard for us to pick! We ultimately picked a chocolate cake with peanut butter, a white cake with fresh strawberry filling and a coconut cake with a fudge filling and my guest LOVED every single flavor that was served! My husband and I got married last year and met Lesley at the windmill winery's open house. Our wedding that was supposed to be in March ended up getting pushed forward to January. It was a very stressful time as a bride to make sure everything was in order for our earlier wedding date. I was able to get a birthday cake from Lesley's Creative Cakes. They were able to finish it in less than a week! The cake was delicious and well decorated for a very reasonable price. They were great with meeting my expectations of design. I only had to send them a couple different pictures of cake designs that I liked [some of which were very elaborate] and from that they were able to tell me how much it would take to replicate the cakes but more importantly what they could do to simplify the design while meeting my expectation to minimize the costs. Lesley did an outstanding job with our wedding cake. We chose a 3-tier cake that compiled of 3 of our favorite flavors - french vanilla cake with salted caramel buttercream, chocolate cake with chocolate custard, and margarita lime cake with custard. YUM! The cake tastes amazing and the presentation was elegant and flawless. We also used Lesley's sister, Christine, to do our wedding flowers and were very impressed. We attended a cake tasting and met with Lesley to go over our flavors and design for the cake. We showed her pictures and she paid close attention to what we liked and helped us design a wonderful cake. She was very organized and quick with communication. I have used Lesley's creative Cakes on numerous occasions with excellent results. From specialty cakes for birthdays, pies for Thanksgiving, cupcakes for a family reunion, to catering a family dinner the service and quality of food was outstanding. I really appreciate the quick turn-around time also. I have had special occasions at my house where I didn't have time to make the sweet treats and was able to order and have delivery within a couple of days, which was a huge stress reducer for me. My husband and I used Lesley's Creative Cakes for our wedding cake and it was amazing!!!! My mom was the one who recommended Lesley. She had purchased her mini cupcakes for a very large party, where she said they were a huge hit! We met with Lesley just a couple days before the wedding and she was so helpful. My husband and I knew we wanted lemon cupcakes, but we were uncertain about also doing a lemon cake. Lesley suggested a lemon cake with a custard with raspberry filling and a lemon buttercream frosting. The cake was so beautiful and absolutely to die for!!!!
