I like the place. Some workers are rude. I went to order today and there were two workers in the back. One saw me approach the counter to order but did not acknowledge my presence. The taller worker looked at me several times as if I was supposed to make my presence known. I stood there for another 3 minutes while this worker kept looking at me, then when I thought was coming to take my order, she grabbed a sponge and started wiping up her work space. Not even as so much as a "someone will be with you in a moment". She kept on cleaning up as she periodically scanned my way to see if I was still there or going to say something. Clarke's finally came over and took my order. She didn't give me a greeting but she was nice. I can't say that for whoever was working with her. She definitely needs a course on customer relations for sure. I'd rather go out of my way to the one on Val Vista and Williamsfield if this is how they are going to treat their patrons. DO NOT COME HERE!! If they are out of ingredients they will substitute whatever they feel like without checking with you. I have an ALLERGY to green apple and they put it on my bowl (which isn't supposed to be there) in substitute for blueberries. They did not tell me and I could not see it until after because they dump peanut butter over all of the toppings. Lawsuit waiting to happen. I tried contacting the store 5x and no one answers the phone. Horrible service. I contacted customer service via email and will see what they say. read more

I have been to this location many times. Juices have been inconstant at times. I usually get the Greenie. One time it tasted like I was drinking straight parsley. Another time like I was drinking straight celery. Overall most of the time everything comes out good. Staff is usually friendly. AC is always blasting. Huge fan of the Nektar acai bowls! When this company first opened here locally, we were always stopping in. The portion size and flavor was phenomenal! Unfortunately, we had stopped coming in because the quality had gone downhill over time. After passing by today and having a craving, we thought we'd give it one more chance. We ordered four peanut butter açai bowls for $43. 2 of them are barely half full. The fruit on top is quite sad. I understand inflation, but this is just not worth our hard earned money unfortunately. This is a snack at best. I'll still be making dinner. Maybe you can have a better system for measuring out portions and go back to a bit better size for the price. read more

I typically love Dana Park's Nekter until this past weekend, when I put in an order through Door Dash. I ordered an elderberry smoothie and the immunity bowl which were both new items. The immunity bowl was delicious which is the only reason they get 2 stars. However, the elderberry smoothie had little chunks of plastic. I have a toddler who was going to drink the smoothie, but I'm thankful I didn't let him sip any, otherwise he may have choked on the pieces of plastic. There were about 30 chunks of plastic that appeared to have been blended into the drink. It almost seemed like the person making the drink was careless or too lazy to take off the plastic from the fruit?? I called them immediately to alert them to prevent this from occurring to others. No one ever picked up the phone. I tried again the next day and still no one would pick up. I left a voicemail and I sent a message to Nekter on their website and still no response. I honestly didn't want to resort to a Yelp review, but if this is the only way I can get their attention or even a reply/apology, it's an absolute necessity to prevent future health hazards. Because, it's NOT okay to have chunks of plastic in your food. Who knows if it's even clean plastic? Check your smoothies to make sure you don't have any foreign objects before you drink it!!!!!! It's expensive place but so worth the freshness. They have many different types of fresh juices which I love. Pressed right before your eyes. You can smell that freshness the minute you walk in. I ended up going with the little beet juice and a mango acai bowl. I must say both were incredible. The juice flavors blended together very well, not too sweet and not too grassy tasting like some juices can tend to be. The mango acai bowl though, wow, honestly so good! I could probably eat this on the daily. Everything in the bowl was so fresh and it was super filling. I'm sure I will be back again to try more juices and bowls. My husband and I ordered the 3-day cleanse and scheduled pick-up for 8:15am on Friday 1/3. My husband arrived at 8:15am and this store did not have the order. My husband contacted management to notify them that payment was made for a product that was never delivered on-time. $200.00 for a product that was not provided? My husband spoke with management who offered a later pick up time and a $10.00 off card. My husband picked up the late order tonight and there's no $10.00 off card. The person at the register had no idea what he was talking about when he requested the $10.00 off card. I do not recommend that you purchase the 3-day cleanse from this location. Their product delivery is poor and their customer service is non-existent. We ordered 2 of the 3-day cleanse for $200.00 with the intent of starting it today, for the weekend. I have recently become obsessed with this place! I've only had their juices, as I tend to be a creature of habit, but I must say the Toxin Flush is very fresh, tastey, and refreshing! When you walk into a Jamba Juice, your hit with an overwhelming smell of oranges. But when you walk into Nekter it feels like you walked into a produce fridge. It's a very fresh and clean feeling. The drinks take a bit to make since it's all made fresh to order, but it's definitely worth the wait. I will one day attempt to try one of their daily or weekly full juice cleanses. Let me start off by saying I LOVE the Acai Bowls at Nekter!!! They are far superior to Thrive and ChopShop. The reason for the less than 4-5 star rating is due to the amount of time it takes both to put in an order and to receive the order. Every Nekter I have been to has on only person taking orders... Even during the busy breakfast & lunch rushes!! Often times the line to order is so long it takes over 15mins just to get up to the front. And then it often takes another 20mins to receive your order. (This location does seem to be a little quicker.) For that kind of time I could have a hot breakfast or lunch at a restaurant with table service. Often times there seems to be a lot of extra employees standing around behind the counter chatting to the employees actually working... Why aren't they helping?... Why are they distracting the employees trying to complete my order? Maybe Nekter could lower prices and improve service time if they cut back on unnecessary payroll. LoL! I also wish they offered more that one size bowl. The current size is huge! Which is great for the price point but not when you can't finish it all without a friend. Regardless, I will continue to return to Nekter... Because like I said before the Acai Bowls are the best around!! read more
