I love that these simulators tee up your ball automatically...the only simulator that I've found in the area that does so. X-Golf also has a full bar and some bar snacks available although we usually walk right next door and snag some outstanding sushi from Biwako Sushi. We have always found the staff here to be extremely helpful in setting up the simulators to your choice from around 25 of the most storied courses in North America along with selected courses in Japan and Korea. I also noticed that X-Golf pipes in some great tunes on their house sound system as background music...Nothing like a solid 7-iron to the rhythm of a little 1989's Free Fallin' by Tom Petty. 4-stars.

Even though he drove on it to scold me, another 5-6 group of boys were on it the fairway at other holes and he didn't tell them anything. Completely disrespectful and distasteful. I used to work at Eagle Crest, so I know the rules, thank you very much and I am absolutely disgusted with management. Go across the street.

Golf balls struck both my and other vehicles while driving west down the city street of E. Stadium…read moreBlvd with such force that my windshield is now totaled. The concussive impact while I was in motion driving sounded like my car had been shot with a gun. Had any of these golf balls hit a person in the head they would likely be dead. Police report made with Ann Arbor city police. I went over to The Ann Arbor Golf and Outing and spoke with the *district manager* who was there on duty sitting with a group of men at the golf clubhouse bar. I requested a word with him and showed him the fresh damage to my vehicle. He stated that they have no contingency plan to prevent balls from going over their fence and striking cars or people saying it just happens sometimes with bad shots. I pointed out that once should be more than enough to look into preventative solutions and that other vehicles had been struck by different golf balls in the same time frame as Ann Arbor Police were already on scene taking report from other drivers who's vehicles were struck and damaged while driving down the busy city street. I reminded the Golf and Outing Club manger that the stretch of E. Stadium Blvd directly in front of them is also directly in front of The University of Michigan's Big House Stadium and is frequented regularly by an enormously high volume of pedestrians including children on a daily basis. When I asked him directly if preventative safety would be initiated by him now alerting the golfers to be careful, the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club district manager laughed saying that they were currently having a tournament and he would absolutely *not* tell his golfers to shoot more carefully. Clearly transmitting and demonstrating the attitude of not caring at all about the avoidable danger the Ann Arbor Good and Outing district manager then just strolled away from me back to the golf clubhouse bar. Speaking with my auto insurance provider I am told the smallest amount of money it is going cost to repair my completely totaled windshield will be $500 out-of-pocket. For our household that is not insignificant. Maybe it is laughable for the district manager at the Golf and Outing golf club and its members, but it's certainly not a joke for our single mother household. Anyone who golfs there should understand completely that Ann Arbor Golf & Outing Club is fully aware and not at all bothered or concerned about pedestrian safety or automotive safety whatsoever. Someone is going to get seriously injured/die from being struck with a golf ball unless the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club agrees to address their safety failure. The fact that they were so nonchalant in caring or expressing any care about safety of people on a public street really was shockingly impressive.

My husband took me, as someone who has never played golf before in my life, to hit balls. We didn't need to prebook anything, just showed up, walked over to the driving range, used the self-serve machine to get a couple buckets of balls, walked over to an open spot, and that was that! It was a pretty crowded day (based on how many cars were in the parking lot), but the driving range wasn't crowded at all, so I'm guessing it usually isn't full. Easy to park in a large lot, there's food and drink on site in the clubhouse if you want it, and conveniently located just outside of town on the SW side of Ann Arbor. I'll be back!

The greens are brutally fast and contoured which turn short chips into daunting prospects. Radrick isn't all doom and gloom however, the windy conditions I played under contributed considerably. With friendlier weather this is a fun and challenging course. It is also exceedingly picturesque and beautiful. If you know someone and can manage to get on this private course, I highly recommend it.

He was so responsive to all of my emails (and I sent several LOL). He has done many weddings here and you can tell as he really knows his stuff. He is on top of everything and was so helpful from the time we booked through the day of. I even had guests coming up to me at the reception saying "I wish we would have had a Bob at our wedding!" or "Everyone needs a Bob!" I can honestly say I did not feel stressed at all that day because Bob helped to keep everything on schedule and dealt with the vendors. Everything was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful and very accommodating and you can't beat the price packages. I absolutely love how everything turned out. The food was amazing, amazing staff, and amazing to work with throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!

"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," describes our recent dining experiences at the Polo Fields. A few…read moremonths ago, I posted a "Good" review on google, stating "Excellent dinner. Perfectly cooked steaks and sides, great waitperson named Samantha." Now, however, after our latest (and final) meal, it's time for the "Bad" and the "Ugly". Chefs say, "we eat with our eyes first," so below are cell phone pictures of what we were served: (1) "Bad" fries made from rotting potatoes and (2) "Ugly" Brussels sprouts burned black: There were other endless problems: my wife's vegetable was served so hot it burned the roof of her mouth (probably microwaved). My steak was undersized and overcooked, dry and hard to chew. Service took three hours (5:30-8:30), even though we were the only table seated the entire time, due to order and billing mistakes by a new, ill-trained waitperson. Polo Fields sends its diners a follow-up email urging them to post a review, if their experience was good, or, if not, to contact Brian Stange, so I took food samples from my plate to show him. But to my surprise, he ignored them, saying, "I eat here all the time and it's fine" (as if the staff would serve their boss bad food or make him wait 3 hours). Stange's inability to admit a problem, with the food samples on his desk, reminded me of the saying: "People don't believe what they see, people see what they want to believe." I thought of showing the owner the samples, but he never responded to my request for a meeting. (These samples have been preserved by vacuum sealing and freezing, should he change his mind.) BOTTOM LINE: Polo Fields offers dining-only memberships, but I never could have imagined a dining experience this poor or such profound indifference by management. There are so many fine area restaurants, with consistently good food and responsive management, that it makes no sense to pay membership fees and risk "the Good, the Bad and the Ugly" at the Polo Fields.

It all depends on what you want. I had a driver shaft fitting on February 16th, with a delivery…read moredate of a week to ten days. I put down a deposit of 50% of the total cost as requested by the fitter. On February 23rd , got a call from the fitter telling me MOG couldn't order the shaft without 100% of the total cost prepaid. The new delivery date was a week to ten days from the 23rd. I waited a week and called to check the status of my order. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes while the person checked. She came back on the line and said the person whose job it is to order shafts had forgotten to do so. At this point the fitting was over two weeks ago, without any action by MOG. The young woman apologized and said the shaft would be ordered the next day, with an expected delivery in a week. Of course, that didn't happen. Long story short and over a dozen phone calls to MOG I was able to pick up my new driver shaft on March 19th. Remember how I said I'd paid 100% in advance for my order? The counter guy apparently didn't know the process and couldn't read the computer properly so he tried to charge me again for the shaft. I said I'd already paid for it. He said, "How do I know that?" Fortunately, he managed to figure out the MOG computer system that showed I had indeed paid 100% in advance. The good news is the MOG fitter did an excellent job and I'm extremely happy with my new driver shaft. The bad news is the MOG retail staff is poorly trained in how to get answers to questions regarding special orders. The bottom line, for me, is that after a couple of decades of doing business with MOG, including getting fitted for a set of irons and a complete driver fitting prior to my latest purchase, I'm not going back to MOG for anything, not even to hit range balls.
