For the money this is a great course. The food is good but they need to have more red Gatorade. Lol.

The golf course is both challenging and rewarding, blending classic architecture with thoughtful modern design. Multiple tee boxes make it playable for golfers of all skill levels, while stretching to more than 7,300 yards from the tips for those looking for a true test. The recent clubhouse renovations are beautiful, and the dining experience is excellent with a fantastic wine selection. It's also exciting to see the continued investment in the property, including new bunker systems and ongoing course improvements that will make an already great experience even better. What really sets this club apart, though, is how family-friendly it is. Our kids attended the summer day camp, where they received golf and tennis instruction and participated on the swim team. They made friendships and lifelong core memories that they'll always remember and that we'll always cherish. This club has exceeded our expectations in every way and continues to get better each year. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an outstanding golf and family club experience.

Our family made the previous mistake of joining Barton Hills Country Club, and it was the most disappointing experience ever. We soon learned: the food and especially the service at Barton were awful, promises of improvement were made and never kept, and we were lied to and completely taken advantage of- after paying in the initiation fee. Please consider Travis Point if you are in search of a true private club experience. It is first class and truly a wonderful club with a friendly and welcoming membership!

It all depends on what you want. I had a driver shaft fitting on February 16th, with a delivery…read moredate of a week to ten days. I put down a deposit of 50% of the total cost as requested by the fitter. On February 23rd , got a call from the fitter telling me MOG couldn't order the shaft without 100% of the total cost prepaid. The new delivery date was a week to ten days from the 23rd. I waited a week and called to check the status of my order. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes while the person checked. She came back on the line and said the person whose job it is to order shafts had forgotten to do so. At this point the fitting was over two weeks ago, without any action by MOG. The young woman apologized and said the shaft would be ordered the next day, with an expected delivery in a week. Of course, that didn't happen. Long story short and over a dozen phone calls to MOG I was able to pick up my new driver shaft on March 19th. Remember how I said I'd paid 100% in advance for my order? The counter guy apparently didn't know the process and couldn't read the computer properly so he tried to charge me again for the shaft. I said I'd already paid for it. He said, "How do I know that?" Fortunately, he managed to figure out the MOG computer system that showed I had indeed paid 100% in advance. The good news is the MOG fitter did an excellent job and I'm extremely happy with my new driver shaft. The bad news is the MOG retail staff is poorly trained in how to get answers to questions regarding special orders. The bottom line, for me, is that after a couple of decades of doing business with MOG, including getting fitted for a set of irons and a complete driver fitting prior to my latest purchase, I'm not going back to MOG for anything, not even to hit range balls.

Should have gone to Carls!

I honestly really wouldn't recommend coming here if you don't wanna waste money. Though all of the…read moreattractions seem appealing, they are all overpriced and dysfunctional. One time, a friend visiting me wanted to go go-karting so I bought us tickets. It was $25/person to go around about 7 times. I was given a kart that couldn't turn right unless it super slow so I had to slow down drastically every time. I eventually got ran into which put my kart out of commission for the rest of the rounds. It was no fun at all and I should have been offered a refunded since I couldn't even do the activity I paid for properly. I've also done this selfie golf which is okay but it just wasn't for me. I could tell it wasn't well cleaned or maintained. I've tried both of the bars which had great bartenders both times. The drinks are way overpriced just as the food is as well. It's about $25 for some chicken wings which they didn't even bother to try to make look good on their menu. Your first time there, you have to spend a minimum of $20 just to get a pass and some of the popular games aren't even working properly. You can get this thing called a rainbow pass where you can play certain games unlimited for a set period of time but it limits you to only the shooting and driving games which get tiring after 15 minutes. Overall, I really wouldn't suggest people going here unless you want to take a loan out for mid-tier games and overpriced food.
