My husband took me, as someone who has never played golf before in my life, to hit balls. We didn't need to prebook anything, just showed up, walked over to the driving range, used the self-serve machine to get a couple buckets of balls, walked over to an open spot, and that was that! It was a pretty crowded day (based on how many cars were in the parking lot), but the driving range wasn't crowded at all, so I'm guessing it usually isn't full. Easy to park in a large lot, there's food and drink on site in the clubhouse if you want it, and conveniently located just outside of town on the SW side of Ann Arbor. I'll be back!

There are so many other things to love about GTCC, but the other day I rented the clubhouse for a baby shower and that is my main reason for writing a review. This was a PERFECT rental facility for our event! It is really pretty and clean inside with use of a mini-kitchen, a bar area, a ton of tables, chairs, some couches and also a lot of space. The managers are excellent communicators. They were flexible with our set-up plan and the price was fantastic for what you get! If you are considering this venue you should look no further!

I put down a deposit of 50% of the total cost as requested by the fitter. On February 23rd , got a call from the fitter telling me MOG couldn't order the shaft without 100% of the total cost prepaid. The new delivery date was a week to ten days from the 23rd. I waited a week and called to check the status of my order. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes while the person checked. She came back on the line and said the person whose job it is to order shafts had forgotten to do so. At this point the fitting was over two weeks ago, without any action by MOG. The young woman apologized and said the shaft would be ordered the next day, with an expected delivery in a week. Of course, that didn't happen. Long story short and over a dozen phone calls to MOG I was able to pick up my new driver shaft on March 19th. Remember how I said I'd paid 100% in advance for my order? The counter guy apparently didn't know the process and couldn't read the computer properly so he tried to charge me again for the shaft. I said I'd already paid for it. He said, "How do I know that?" Fortunately, he managed to figure out the MOG computer system that showed I had indeed paid 100% in advance. The good news is the MOG fitter did an excellent job and I'm extremely happy with my new driver shaft. The bad news is the MOG retail staff is poorly trained in how to get answers to questions regarding special orders. The bottom line, for me, is that after a couple of decades of doing business with MOG, including getting fitted for a set of irons and a complete driver fitting prior to my latest purchase, I'm not going back to MOG for anything, not even to hit range balls.

Ordering food was…read morequite disorganized...the kiosk was very easy but because nobody was manning the cashier area where we were supposed to pay, we were walking around unsure what to do next. Once I got my wristband from the front counter, the employee walked over to the cashier area and took care of our food tickets. They did not have nearly enough staff to accommodate how many people were there. Once we were done with food and drinks, it was go time for the games. The wristband got us into laser tag, a few arcade games, bumper cars, bull riding, obstacle course, and slides. It ended up being a great time despite the chaos in the beginning. My suggestion would be to have someone at the front welcoming people and asking them where they were going/what they planned to do. That way, they could direct the group where to go and how things work. We were incredibly lost.
