It was worth a shot. I am incredibly thankful that I made that decision. Dr. Canfield was the first doctor who REALLY listened to me, and most important, actually figured out what was wrong with me! He was very respectful, and didn't treat me like I was a hypochondriac or that my problem obviously had to do with my weight. (This might sound weird, but folks of size will probably understand. When you're heavy, some doctors think that EVERYTHING that goes wrong must be because of that. It often isn't; in this case it most certainly wasn't.) Dr. Canfield ordered the necessary tests, and when it was time to deliver the tough diagnosis, he did so with sensitivity and care. With her care my son's skin is looking SO GOOD! He started with one regimen of oral and topic Rx's. When that reached its max result, and he then started Isotretinoin (Accutane), the results have been great. He's in has last month of meds, and after completing and having 2 months off meds he'll go in for laser skin treatments. Looking forward to the end results he so deserves :)

The caster that usually works with him is simply amazing. Tianne I believe her name is, my baby boy just adores her. We are four casts in to the Ponseti correction method and everything has gone great. We go in and they unravel the soft cast and use the saw on the plaster cast underneath (which does not bother my son one bit.) and then we give him a bath to sooth the skin and wash away the week.
