Told me my phosphorous was high. Sold me a $60 bottle. I had my water tested someplace else and the levels were fine. They don't accept returns, and twice as expensive as other pool supplies. Terrible. Try telling customers verbally you don't take returns. Lost my business forever over an unused $60 item. read more

SHANNON is amazing! We just got a hot tub that we bought from a neighbor that is moving. I've never owned a hot tub or a pool. What the previous owner told me about how to start up and what to put in it were incorrect. So we took our water and drove to Leslie's. The previous owner used their services so Shannon was able to quickly transfer the hot tub from his name to ours and we now have the history of what has been bought or done for this tub. It's only 3 years old but still. As i walked through what I was told, she said "not exactly right..." and then we started over. It turns out the chlorine the previous owner told us to put in was way too much. She helped us get it back to 0 and start over. A few days later, we were able to use our tub and we love it. Shannon was amazing. I've been to see her twice so far and am looking forward to working with her for the life of this tub. She knows them inside and out and can help in any way. I also showed up 10 minutes before closing time (both times) and she didn't mind at all and was happy to stay and help. GREAT customer service and her knowledge is comprehensive. read more

Great experience! A very helpful employee tested our water (free) and wrote us an "action plan" for getting our green pool back to clear. The plan worked perfectly and our pool is now clear and nice. Also, the shock they sell has a TON of chlorine (my bf claims this is a good thing). Either way, it works a lot better than the shock we'd bought at box stores and was about the same price. read more

I love this store because of the the great people who work there. Shannon is the manager and she is very friendly and knowledgeable. She really knows how to take care of a pool, and has helped me with several issues I've had. All of her solutions have worked, and she has saved me money at times with simple fixes vs a complex and more costly option. Brittany is also very good. We are truly disappointed with our experience with Leslie's Pool Service. We ordered a pool liner and salt water system and we still haven't heard from the liner company to schedule the installation for weeks. When we call Leslie's, all we get is the runaround and no resolution. My husband and I have both spoken countless times to Brittany and she basically tells us that there is nothing she can do to expedite the process. We financed the liner and are currently paying for it even though it doesn't seem to exist! No follow up, no calls, no apologies....this is unacceptable!! I walked in with my daughter. A rather super large person was behind the counter on the phone.we walked around the store, finally finding what we need. The employee didn't acknowledge us at all. We picked up the filter and stood at the counter. We were still never acknowledged. After another 5 minutes waiting and having no acknowledgement of us at , we left the store without our purchase. I am new to the pool world this year. I was very nervous going in knew I needed a lot of guidance and patience. I was shopping around until I went to Leslie's in Buford. Brittany was amazing. She was very very knowledgeable and helpful. Since I am new to pools. I have been stopped by and called many of times. Each time Brittany an the staff has been patient and helpful. I would have thought I got would have got on their nerves, (if I did, they never showed it). A couple of days ago I called and they must have been busy and I hung up before anyone picked up. BRITTANY called me back and I didn't even leave a message. I have never had any business do that!! I finally decided to go for salt system for my pool partly lured by the system Leslie's was offering - Jacuzzi system with free installation and start up salt. The first disappointment when I went back to order was that the $1225 price did not include the trip charge and the materials charge so there was an extra $100. The install was actually earlier than planned so that was good and the installer did a good job (at least it appears so). The installer said that we needed to monitor several chemicals including nitrates. He said ask the people at the store to test them, since not in normal group of tests. We took our water sample in a day after installation for testing as directed. The store says no one tests nitrates, so a disconnect from their own installer. The test showed we were low on salt. So the promise of all the salt needed for start up was wrong. They had stated that we got all the salt needed. It would be 10 bags that was all we needed. Based on their own testing, not so much. We had to buy 3 additional bags of salt at $11 per bag. We will see how the system works, but we are not off to a great start. read more

Shannon at this store is the best! She has exceptional customer service. She worked with me for over an hour today to give me the best service. This even made it where she had to stay after hours. She has been phenomenal in helping me get my pool under control year after year. I have a ton of trees by my pool so every year I have challenges with algae control. My pool cleaner had a hose with a hole in it. As a result, it wasn't working. I came in the store looking for a replacement hose. The lady manager said she didn't stock the hose, and it may take a week to get it in. She took a look at the unit, and asked if it would be okay to cut out the damaged piece, if the hose would be long enough for the pool cleaner to get the job done. I said I thought so, and she proceeded to cut off the damaged piece and fit everything back together again. It's back to doing its magic on my pool. Pure out of the box thinking, zero cost, in and out in 5 minutes. This young lady saved the day...bravo! I wish other stores were as amazing! read more

Online ordering system does not work. Ordered a small part and it stated it would ship to store in 2 days. 2 weeks later I called to get a status and was told that it shipped and was at a UPS warehouse. 2 weeks later(4 weeks in total), we finally received in an email that the part was in. We went to the store and were told that the email was wrong and we should receive another email. A week later we called again and they said that a manager would need to look at it and would call us back the next day. That night we received an email that the order was cancelled. I called the next day and they could not explain why as they don't have access to the order once it is cancelled. They said they had the part and could create a new order. I asked if they would fedex the part since it had been over a month. They had the ability to fedex it, but refused to do so. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Excellent customer service and they will test your pool water for free, no strings attached. Have been using them for a few years now and follow their advice and pool water is always crystal clear and clean. You might find lower priced chemicals for your pool elsewhere, but I believe you get what you pay for and theirs seem to work much better than what you get at a discount store. read more
