We were babysitting our 3 grandchildren for the weekend so they had a blast checking out the pond display and yard decor inside. The pond display has a few fish but the highlight was watching the turtle! We went outside and saw all the baby fish in the tanks and lots of pond and bog plants to choose from. We saw Sid who was working outside and we had a few questions for him. Sid was great! He was very helpful and kind, answered all of our questions and even offered up some suggestions! After we chose the plant we wanted, he carefully wrapped it up for the trip home. He made sure to tell us how to fertilize the plant and we bought some tablets to use in the future. At one point, when I was out of town for my Father's funeral, I received a notice from the Town of HP that I had a possible water leak and come to find out Jim never turned off my auto-fill when he drained the pool! The coping was cracked, plaster had splotches and stains and the auto-fill never worked again. His workers said he owed them money and that they didn't trust him. If I hadn't been so far into the project I would have fired him. He told me in front of my daughter that he wanted to date me and lay on the sofa, drink wine with me and cuddle (barf!) and I rejected him then 3 days later I got a bill for more than double what I owed! I sent him an email showing him the math and exactly what I owed. He argued with me and sent me to collections. when I gave the collection agency all of my emails and photos they apologized for what I had been through. He ended up settling for far less than what I actually owed. In my opinion he's dishonest and shady and I wouldn't let him pull weeds in my backyard Let alone touch my pool!
