Only because I was pressed for time, I ran into this store at 6:45 last Wednesday to grab some pool patch. Frankly, I've avoided the place for the past 2+ years because of the un-helpful, indifferent, border-line rude service! I braced for the worst when several of us walked in at the same time, but WOW!!! what a delightful surprise. The young man on duty, Grant S, navigated the simultaneous arrival of several customers at the same time with the expertise of an air traffic controller. He demonstrated the unique ability to acknowledge each new customer, answer their questions, point them in the right direction, ring up my purchase, provide guidance on how to use it, all while wrapping up another customer's water analysis. The guy is extremely knowledgeable. He knows how to THINK! while assisting multiple customers. In the 30 years we've owned our pool, and the 18 years this location has been open, he is unmistakably the very best, most helpful person they've ever had. This is a retail store with personality. They seem to thrive on customer service. The fact that they had enough staff to assist the high demand, the inventory in stock, and a great repertoire with each customer is why I will continue to shop with Leslies. I went to Leslie's pool Supplies yesterday 6-1-20 because my swimming pool was turning green and was very cloudy. Curtis S. Was the person who helped me. He checked the water with different chemicals and gave me a print out with the things that my pool needed. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I bought the chemicals he recommended and added them to the pool as instructed by Curtis S. So far my pool looks blue again. It's still a little cloudy so I called Curtis again today and he told me that I needed to replace the filter and he was right it was very dirty. Thank you again Curtis for all your help. I came in to get a water test and zoe and lorenzo were super helpful! I also requested to see if theh could look up the type of filter I had bought a couple years ago and they were able to tell me what kind of replacement cartridges I needed for the filter. I asked if they had any deals or discounts as I was purchasing 4 cartridges and DE for my filter...zoe went out of her way to help me get 20% off! That's amazing customer service! I really appreciate how helpful lorenzo was looking up my filter and how quick zoe was to see if I could get a discount. I had been having an issue with my Polaris splashing my windows on a daily basis for months. I went in to Leslie's Pool Supplies, Service & Repair and spoke with Lorenzo and Curtis at the South Grand Prairie location. They recommended me a device called Polaris TailSweep Pro and it has worked perfectly. My windows have not been squirted on since.
