Every visit, I buy everything they say I need. Each visit usually comes to $50 to $150 and I never complain or question them. In that time I've also made larger purchases around $1000 for additional equipment like a new Polaris, a new motor for one of my pumps, new housings/fittings/etc. All together is probably safe to say I've spent between $5k and $10k dollars there. So today I replaced the 5th piece that's failed on my Polaris I bought from them. I'm a little annoyed by that b/c it cost $1000 and I feel like being 2 years old, that's just a bit ridiculous. I've also had parts sold to me at a discount because "they were opened by accident" only to find that parts where missing and I was denied a refund... but in general, I was just a little annoyed about the Polaris failures. I went into the store to get my water checked just now. The one manager (female, young, didn't catch her name) was helping some other people and a young guy took my water. I casually mentioned how I've just replaced the 4th or 5th piece on that (I think i said $1400, but it's actually $1000... no matter) Polaris, and how crazy that seems. I didn't say it aggressively. I just sorta mentioned it while the guy was testing my water. Anyway, the girl was not having it. She was sure I only paid $800 (as if that makes it somehow ok) and insisted on trying to argue about it in front of the whole store, even going so far as to stop helping customers and go print my old receipt. Okay, so it ended up being $1000 and not $1400. Still... my point was that it's not a great product if I have to spend $300 over the next 2 years repairing it (and thats just parts. if i paid labor for someone else to do it, who knows how much it would be). As I left, she came storming out of the store and began to berate me and my wife for our unacceptable behavior. I remained totally calm. Her voice shook and her eyes became bloodshot as her blood pressure elevated and she assured me of how she was an excellent manager and she just wasn't having that in her store. I calmly told her that I would have no problem apologizing if I made her feel disrespected, and I even did apologize. I then told her that perhaps a better manager might approach a long time customer with a different tact and the benefit of the doubt before talking down to us like we are children. None the less, she assured me she wasn't going to put up with my behavior (i guess of expecting value out of a product and just idly mentioning it calmly in conversation) before exclaiming "That's just the way it is!" and walking off. I'm now looking for somewhere else. Go here if you want, I wouldn't.

After a bad start with them, they worked hard to make ammends…read more Full story: They gave me an estimate where they described the work scope but they had actually forgotten to account for a big chunk of it on the cost. I applied for a loan to pay por it, gave them a check for 50% and after that they called me to inform they wouldn't do it for that price (they had missed the cost of concrete work, almost 3k), and asked me to go pick up my downpayment check. I was pretty mad at them. I was already in debt, it would have been hard to apply for another loan and I thought I had to wait another summer to get my pool renovations done.  I posted some bad reviews online, they noticed my dissapointment and called me to make ammends.  Colleen and Doug worked to get some contractors to complete the scope they had missed on the quote, they offered me some disccounts to help me afford it.  Now that the work is done, I am pretty happy with the results, the contractors did a nice job on the concrete and spray deck.  The quality of work: 5 stars

At 5.5 months they are suppose to make the process simple and easy . This company is the exact opposite. My PM threaten financial responsibility to bully there clients, for something that is complete there fault. My pool was suppose to be dig to gunite in 10days instead it was closer to 30 days bc they didn't realize they had city approval on 5th day. So they waited close 2.5 wks go by before it is scheduled. Even though every few days after rebarb was installed I contacted them and was told to wait because no city approval. So by the time contractor came out my pool had caved in: Then they agreed to start the process over again but couldn't schedule it within a week, so it caved another 3 times due to rain. I told the PM that they had to do the start the process again include the city inspection. He ask to speak to my dad and my dad told him multiple time no if you lay rebarb then the inspection needs to be redone. The PM then tried to back track and said to us if the pool caved again it would be our responsibility to pay even though the contract said otherwise. Which is when I told him off and he should read the contract. Next major issue during the build they cut my well line, no one showed up for over a week. I had to call someone to set up a temporary line so I could have water in my house. My PM didn't care so I called his manager after a wk and someone came out the next day. After filling the pool with water I believing there was a light at the end of tunnel that this project was almost over but it wasn't. Typical Houston weather we had a freak storm that brought large amounts of water, we noticed the water was nearly to the top of decking. So I asked how come the pool doesn't drain itself. I was told it a manual process where the owner has to go out and open a valve. My neighbor has a 20 yr old pool that has an automatic release once it get to a certain level. We live in Houston area it rains like crazy in this town, you would think it would be install automatically. When I ask why it isn't automatic they said it's up to the designer. Which they don't ask or tell you doing the design process. Nor can it be retro actively installed. The icing on the cake my current issue. We schedule the pool motor to be started the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. I took a day off. The gentleman comes out to my house and with in 10 min he knew the electrical had issue and there was cement in my skimmers. I have a PM that suppose to come and check the subs works. He never comes out he obviously didn't check there work and he does not know how to return phone calls. Apparently his job is drive around and put WO into the system. I have had water in my pool for 3 wks with out proper chemicals or working motor, so I know have a green swamp. So my advise is do not choose this company they don't fix thing in a timely manner, the PM is no added value you could have a scheduler or GC do his job. Not worth the headache or heartache bc at the end of the day it your property that's ruined and they have your money!

I did a lot of shopping around and this team gives me great service at a great price for my weekly maintenance. Also, I had a issue with a pump and, while other companies told me they couldn't make it out for a least a week or more, Sterling was there the next morning to solve the problem... also at a very reasonable price. The guys that come to the house every week to clean and update the chemicals are quick, quiet and professional. I work a lot from my home, so that's important to me.

If "Lupe" isn't on the job one of his brothers or cousins is. They did an amazing job! They began within a week of our signed contract and finished within a week even though we had a big surprise in that they discovered that the pool had 2 layers of plaster which doubled the prep time that we had anticipated. They did a very thorough and beautiful job installing "Stonescapes Black Mini Pebble" to give our pool a very natural water appearance for our old French style home. Before they left they power washed even the deck area, picking up all of their trash, packed up every thing that they brought and left us with a gorgeous "new" pool. It's not very common that I can say that about contractors. They typically don't even see the trash that they leave and just go off and leave it. I can't say enough good things about the service they provided and the end result.
