He ask me what type of filter pump I had and he picked up the basket I needed and he gave a brief explanation of its operation. I ask what the cost was and he picked up a tag for $39.99. Bill could sense I wasn't going to spend that much. He lectured me on how he had $100 dollars of employees and how I was an online shopper. He then turned and walked away continuing to verbalize his displeasure with my not purchasing a filter basket at that high of a price. Two of his employee's witnessed this interaction with a customer. I will never shop at this pool store again. I will contact Pinch A Penny franchise compliance and file a complaint with them.

They charged me 15% higher. I personally showed the manager the store website price on my phone. And he STILL refused to honor it. I argued with him for 10 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE! Does this manager know the term "Ethical Business Practices" They might have got me for $5 but that ordeal will cost the store $100's of dollars in my future sales. I will never step foot in the store again. Another quick "money grab" encounter, so predominate in the world we live in today! Thankfully it was not a large purchase.

I will update again if anything ever gets finished. I bought a lovely swim spa from Spas Unlimited a couple of years ago. We have enjoyed the spa. Noticed a few issues this spring. Reached out to Esmeralda in service. Paid a Couple hundred dollar service fee. Waited over a month for a Technician to visit. He spend about 10 mins with my spa. Enough to remove filters and the top of spa. He stated he needed a compressor to blow the lines, and the spa jets seemed glued on and were not popping off easily. He left. I truly thought he was either going to get a compressor or have lunch. He never returned. I waited another week to call Esmeralda who stated that they were "waiting to see how the owner wanted to proceed with the repair". I haven't heard back in three weeks. The request for service started back in Spring. It is now almost August. Unsure of what I paid $$ for service call. Absolutely nothing was done. I've been more than patient.

I honestly have nothing but great things to say about Town and Country pools, they were phenomenal…read more I went into the pool build process nervous due to the horror stories you read about with other pool builders. You will find no one better than T&C. I was immediately sold on Town and Country from day 1 and it is purely because of Emil Hermis, our builder. I filled out a request for information and within an hour Emil came to our home and began designing. Emil immediately struck me as a man of integrity, dedication, and very knowledgeable. My first impression was not wrong, Emil is a master of his craft and every single detail mentioned was delivered upon with perfection. I cannot begin to describe how grateful and thankful to Emil we are. The contractors used by T&C are top notch. There wasn't a single crew that worked on our pool that wasn't simply amazing. All were incredibly friendly, respectful, diligent, and hard working. The quality and skill every single crew brought to the build cannot be understated.. and they did it in 100 degree Southeast Texas heat. I cannot stress enough to a potential pool buyer, take care of your crews working on your pool. It is boiling hot outside and these guys do not take breaks, get them Gatorade or water. It doesn't take much to take care for the people giving you their all in our weather. We love our new pool and could not recommend Town and Country enough. We will absolutely be repeat customers if the next home we buy needs a pool built. Thank you Emil, thank you Town and Country!

The mastic job itself was generally done well, but I was left unimpressed as the contractors left several bits of old mastic strewn in my back beds or surrounding areas. In addition, they sprinkled sand on the finished product which I assumed was part of the process, but afterwards they left it there rather than taking the time to sweep it up. ALL of this sand ended up in the pool and ultimately in my filters. The light replacements got to the finish line and they work properly, but not without installing the wrong ones first - due to them not taking time to understand age of my pool and equipment they installed lights that were not compatible with my Jandy system. The acid wash was not a good experience and definitely not worth the $1200. Our pool age is approx. 12yrs and has accumulated some stains in different areas. This service was only sold on upside...not the potential for majority of the stains to show no difference whatsoever. In the end, relatively no difference in the before/after appearance. I was iffy on this service and with more transparency on the frontend, I would definitely not have added this to the job.

DO NOT RECOMMEND We…read morehired Precision Pools in December 2025 to build a pool and sunken outdoor kitchen. Unfortunately, the project has been one of the most frustrating experiences we've had as homeowners. The most concerning issue involves the construction of the below-grade sunken kitchen. Multiple independent pool professionals who reviewed the project expressed concerns that proper drainage measures were not installed behind the retaining walls. To date, I still do not have confidence that the underlying drainage concerns have been adequately addressed, and I remain concerned about the potential for future water intrusion and long-term structural issues. Project management and communication have also been disappointing. I repeatedly requested written plans outlining how issues would be corrected and asked that a Precision Pools representative be present to supervise work being performed. Instead, subcontractors often worked without supervision, leaving me to monitor progress, identify concerns, and coordinate with crews myself. I felt like I became the project manager for a project I was paying someone else to manage. There were also several avoidable issues throughout construction, including incorrect coping being installed, an umbrella sleeve that was installed improperly after multiple reminders, disputes regarding agreed-upon furniture items despite text message documentation, and valve covers that I ultimately had to purchase myself after repeated requests. One of the most frustrating situations involved damage to my front yard when concrete residue was introduced into an existing French drain. This area was outside the scope of the pool project and had no prior issues. When the company declined to correct the damage, I paid out of pocket to repair it myself. More recently, I began noticing that my pool was unable to maintain chlorine levels and that something was clearly wrong with the water chemistry. I contacted Precision Pools with my concerns and was told someone would come out to inspect the issue. On the scheduled day, no one showed up. On June 6, 2026, I hired another pool company to inspect the equipment. According to their findings, the filter had not been assembled correctly. The internal white pipe was not connected to the manifold or the filter cartridges, and the strainer was found loose inside the filter housing rather than properly installed. This was particularly alarming because proper filtration is a fundamental component of a functioning pool system. Discovering that the filter had allegedly been installed incorrectly helped explain many of the water quality issues we had been experiencing. Beyond the financial costs, this project has consumed an extraordinary amount of time and caused significant stress. What should have been an exciting investment in our home turned into months of oversight, follow-up, and unresolved concerns. Every construction project will have challenges, but homeowners should expect communication, accountability, supervision, and quality workmanship when problems arise. Based on my experience, Precision Pools failed to meet those expectations.
