He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! We went with PB's recommended contractors - JBJ for electric (super professional - and again, helped us run everything with future construction projects in mind), and United Stamped Concrete for landscaping (Felipe's team did a phenomenal job with out stamped concrete patio and grading, great attention to detail). The orientation with Eduardo was super clear - we've never operated a pool and he patiently explained every single detail about the equipment and maintenance. I have an old wood-walled pool that has seen better days so the skimmer install was tricky. Omar and Ben came and did a great job working around the issue and installing a new leak free skimmer. Once I was able to fill the pool and get the pump working I was looking at what looked like a green swamp. However, the very knowledgeable Lisa in the water testing department recommended a 3 day regimen of chemicals which, remarkably, had the pool more or less clean in three days. Honestly, I would never have believed it. She understands the chemistry and was spot on with the solution. Seven months later, they had to come back out and replace additional parts, which cost me another $1,100 over a couple of visits. Now, after all of that, I am being told the same control board they replaced nine months ago is bad again and that I need to spend another $900 to replace it. I understand warranties have time limits, but when a customer spends around $2,000 trying to get the same hot tub fixed, it is extremely frustrating to be told that a major part they recently installed has already failed and that the only option is to pay full price again. At some point, a company should stand behind its work, its diagnosis, and the parts it installs. I do want to be fair and say that Eniezer has been very professional and helpful from a customer service standpoint. My issue is not with him personally. He has been courteous and responsive. My problem is with the company's inability to properly fix the hot tub and back up the service they provided. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about using them for any major repair.

I did pool liner with them: started coming off and they blamed anything they possibly can (water itself, the liner they themselves installed, and, the funniest one, the last installer which was them). When they ask you who did the last work- say a competing business or you forgot, and watch how quickly they point out all the wrong things done even they're the ones that did it. Their warranty is bogus but they're smart about avoiding any actually quality work and follow up. Schedule will keep extending. Dates will keep changing. People will show up for 30-45 min and scam you. They'll make problems much bigger so they can come back and take more money. They don't believe your photos, videos, or what you are seeing in your own home. They always follow their made-up delusions. The people who make the decisions and you give your money mostly to are not the people who do the job, nor do they show up to see anything. You'll find an extremely rude, unprofessional, and liar of a person named Darlene working you through the phone. The mostly behind the curtain guy is Dan- he will talk his 30 years of experience with you to get you to believe, and of course take your money. You will lose your money. You will face more problems in your pool and system than you started with. You will be lied to. You will regret your decision to worth with these slimy people. Go elsewhere. Do it yourself. Order online. Anything but conduct business with this company of liars and deceivers. You work hard, so take it easy and give your money and time to a more deserving business. Monarch is not it.

I am not joking when I say that I called nearly a dozen different pool and spa companies to repair…read moremy leaking hot tub. Pacific Pool & Spa was the only company who was actually able to come out and repair my spa. Many companies simply do not repair tubs and only open or winterize at the beginning/end of the season. Other places would only repair a tub that they specifically sold you. Some would not come because I didn't know the brand of my tub (it's an older spa and it came with my home). I was so happy when Pacific Pool & Spa said they would be able to help me. My hot tub was leaking badly (imagine a 400/500 gallon tub leaking out in about 45 minutes). I was worried how extensive the damage was and how much the repairs would be. I sent some photos of the spa to Julie and Roy and they assured me that not only would they get the job done, but also that most likely the issue was not a major problem. Because of their busy schedule, I had to wait ~6-8 weeks before their team was able to come to my home, but it was totally worth it. Once the men arrived it only took them about an hour to find the problem (a seriously cracked elbow joint) and then another hour to repair the issue and put the panels back on the tub. A few hundred dollars later and my tub is good as new and ready for the summer! Big thanks to Julie and Roy for helping me out. I hope we won't have any more issues in the future, but if we do I will know where to turn!
