He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! We went with PB's recommended contractors - JBJ for electric (super professional - and again, helped us run everything with future construction projects in mind), and United Stamped Concrete for landscaping (Felipe's team did a phenomenal job with out stamped concrete patio and grading, great attention to detail). The orientation with Eduardo was super clear - we've never operated a pool and he patiently explained every single detail about the equipment and maintenance. I have owned a pool for 14 years and have used multiple pool companies. Thank God I found The Pool Boss. From the first day, Chris and his team demonstrated a level of professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail that will not be matched by any other pool company. Each person that I had been in contact with through The Pool Boss had a clearly defined role. Chris (owner) came to my house to assess the situation and record each issue that needed to be resolved. Joanna (Director of Client Operations and Pre-Construction) was the point person during pre construction. She communicated with me and explained what would be happening at each step of the way. Her patience is unmatched. Jessica (Project Coordinator) informed me of who was coming each day during construction and what would be happening. Her emails were extremely detailed so I fully understood the scope of what would be happening during construction. Dan (On Site Project Manager) not only walked me through the process he informed me on what he needed done on my end like filling up the pool and to what level (after liner was installed). We have to contact our bank and create a claim to stop the charges to our card. They are dishonest and once they have your card number they just keep stealing from you. After 13 years of being unattended, GIRON POOL SERVICES…read morecompleted a massive recovery of a once beautiful pool. The owner, BYRON, and his crew worked tirelessly through a very long day. In the end, my pool was opened and chemicals were applied. The area was hand weeded and overgrowth was cut back. Entire area was power washed including pavers, fence, walkway and pool cover. The paver area was resanded. Byron, inspected and cleaned the filter, as well as inspected the heater. He provided me with his expertise with regards to future operation of the pool. He had his very hard working, extremely polite workers also clean my front walk and front of house which was not included but he has an eye for detail and perfection.
