That said, we decided to travel a couple miles further thos past Sunday, and visit Leslie's on Big Bend and US Hwy 301. In short, I will just say that they were AMAZING! They were a bit busy, so they greated us, let us know they would be with is as soon as possible, so we looked around the store while waiting. Shortly there after, we were approached and greated by Lynn, and let me just say, she is AMAZING!!! We explained what we had going on with our pool, she made some recommendations and put together a short term plan in order to get things right with our pool. Her plan was presise, came from a position of knowledge and experience, and was not one made up of costly chemical after costly chemical! We got home, executed to 1st two steps of the plan, and in litteraly 3 hours time, we could see a signifigant difference in our pool!!! All said, Lynn is a ROCK STAR and truly represents the Leslie's brand in the absolute greatest light. Besides her knowledge, which was amazing, she has a certain something that is inherent and often can not be taught, CUSTOMER VISION!. Lynn has earned us as a new Customer and one that will be with Leslie's, for the long haul. And to Leslies "C" Suite personnel, Lynn should be made the Chief Training Officer for Corporate!

Bought an American Whirlpool hottub from this company at their Lakeland location two years ago…read more Went with a local company, knowing we would pay more, because support was important to us. They did tell me that they were going to be discontinuing that brand but that they would still provide service. Now the hottub can't get hot (I keep it set at 104 degrees and it is stuck at 99) so I called them to see about getting it serviced. Now they no longer service these hottubs and that I need to call the company to see who can service it. They couldn't/wouldn't help me find someone to service it! Guess now that they have my money, I'm on my own. Would never go back there again. UPDATE: Closest certified American Whirlpool service center wants to charge me $471 for travel expense. I have messaged this company to ask for help since they assured me they would still service the hot tub we bought and I never heard back from them (that was over a week ago. I also called the Brandon location to see if I could get some help and all I got was "I'm sorry!". No offer to help in any way. I hope others will see this before deciding to do business with these people.

Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool! For anyone in our same position, looking to install a pool from scratch but not sure where to turn, Elite Pool Design should be your first call, can't recommend them highly enough!

After a few months the pool looked like a swamp. I had several quotes to get the pool cleaned and running again, some of these other companies really tried to gouge me and upcharge me on things I did not want. Bob came out and gave me a very reasonable quote and did not try to upcharge me on anything. Once the pool got cleaned out I decided I should refinish it and add a sundeck. Again they could of gave me an outrageous quote since half the job was done but once again I was given a very reasonable number. Communication was great by phone, text and email. The guys who came out to do the work were very friendly and professional. The job got done in a reasonable amount of time and the pool looks fantastic. The company was know as Walker pools previously but now called Affordable so you can look up both to find them. If I ever need pool repairs again they will be the first ones I call.
