My home warranty contacted 3 J's Appliance Repair to service my GE French door refrigerator. They…read morefirst came out on September 7th 2023 to look at my unit to diagnose the issue and then order parts. My unit needed a control board which they ordered. We waited for three weeks before we got any answer to our phone calls about the status of the part. We didn't get the control board installed until September 29th. This didn't fix my unit's issue. After installing the board the temperature readout started showing "999" on both the freezer and frig displays. I was told to unplug the unit for 15 minutes and the plug it back in. After doing this the display went back to a normal display but not a normal setting for my unit of "0" and "37". My frig temp ran upwards of sixty degrees while the freezer was hovering near 45 degrees. We tried for several weeks to get 3 Js to come back out to take a look at my unit to see what was going on with it but they never showed up when they said they would. When I tried to call the office number it would go straight to voice mail which was full. This is not a way to run a business. The technician that was sent out did not take care while moving my refrigerator and ripped up my vinyl floor and then blamed the refrigerator rollers for not rolling causing the damage. (Every other company used some form of protection to safe guard the vinyl flooring). When I called the office I was told they weren't furniture movers and to file against my home owners policy. I had to get my home warranty company to send somebody else to check my unit to fix it.
