A few interesting facts: - They rescue neglected/abused animals including dogs, cats, potbellied pigs, and more. - Their operating costs are $25k + monthly - Must make an appointment for a visit or group tour - Some of the rescues they take in are animals that were previously used for racing, fighting, etc. Some of the cats & dogs came from animal hoarders. You will find that a visit to the farm is very humbling. For many of us, it's out of sight, out of mind when it comes to animal cruelty. We just don't think about it on a daily basis but when you visit the farm & hear the stories & see firsthand the effects of what these animals have been through, it can be life changing. Overall, a wonderful place to bring a group of kids, adults or just gather some friends for a fun & enlightening afternoon.

A favorite musician and band of mine was visiting, so we were ecstatic for the evening! The venue holds about 150-200 seats, and concerts do get sold out; they do offer a waitlist. And, like one of the attendee stated, 'there is no bad seat in the house' - it is small enough where there's no obstructed view! The sound system was great! The staff are all volunteers, and they are pretty friendly and helpful! If you got the munchies, there's a kitchen onsite that sells hot dogs, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, homemade treats (such as brownies, pies, and cakes), packaged candies/chocolates, and canned soda and bottled water. We tried their all-beef hot dog and a honey bun cake, and both just hit the spot and were super tasty! Prices are extremely reasonable! They also have licensed preschool classes, afterschool care, childcare, and pavilion rentals available. There is an adjacent parking lot, but the entrance is off the main road, so you just have to walk around.
