Computer had not been used for a couple of years and would not get on Internet or print. Prior to service, Brad quoted me the repair price which was reasonable. He picked up computer and called 2 days later it's done. He brought it back, set it up.... And remotely the same day he fixed the computer/printer connection due to the fact he had another appt he had to rush off too... It has been a week later and everything is working great. Our company has been using TH2 for almost three years now…read more The pros of TH2 is that they are local to us in Lake Forest (the main reason we chose them) and they can send someone onsite fairly quickly. The drawbacks however are that there is absolutely no proactivity from them: they strictly respond to issues. Despite their claims they never detected something ahead of time with their tools, we are always the ones calling to report issues they were unaware of. The second issue is that they request to replace existing and perfectly working network equipment with the ones of their choice. We asked for second opinions and found out that the previous equipment we had was just as good, but the one TH2 put in requires a mandatory yearly subscription from which they are making additional profit. And that's really not fair business practice. The third and major problem is billing: just like attorneys they charge high rates including driving time for onsite calls. We are also charged for every minute spent on the phone, including asking for a password reset or a copy of a document! Several techs and admins at TH2 have told us they are frustrated with the sales technical manager Hugo. Several of them said they left TH2 because of him. And then we have to deal with new employee who don't know anything about our setup and need to learn while we are on the phone waiting and billed for each minute. Hugo is actually a very frustrating person who doesn't understand our business needs and has very little technical knowledge as confirmed privately by his own staff. We reported this to the owner Jeff who is a very nice guy, but he did not do anything about it. So we have to go through the time consuming task of interviewing and transitioning to a new computer company. TH2 could be quite a nice and successful business, but their managerial and billing issues are making them frustrating, inefficient, and overpriced.
